The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. The Executive Administrator will build strong relationships across GGF’s global team. The Executive Administrator will perform key support and clerical functions - preparing correspondence, research and briefings, handling confidential information, and taking notes at meetings. They will also support the management of large, often cross-functional organisation-wide initiatives, bringing together important stakeholders to help drive decisions. They will be responsible for calendar management (arranging conference calls among vast time zones) and travel logistics.
In the present accountability structures, the Executive Administrator reports to the Executive Director while building and working in more collaborative ways.
The candidate profile.
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment.
They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.
English fluency is a must.

About Us
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.
Boasting a beautiful 24-acre site in Surrey, we are located just outside of London, close to the M25 (accessible via Junction 8, A217 to Tadworth) and easily accessible via National Rail, by way of: Clapham Junction, Sutton, and Epsom.

Rehabilitation of Offenders
Many roles at The Children’s Trust are exempt from the provisions of Section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 and 2020) and as such, are subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, which will disclose all unspent convictions and adult cautions and any spent convictions or adult cautions that would not be protected. The exceptions to this are our retail roles within The Children’s Trust shops, which are subject to Basic DBS checks which will disclose unspent convictions or adult cautions.

Online Searches

Listening Books is a charity that provides an excellent audiobook lending service to people whose illness, disability, learning or mental health difficulty, impacts on their ability to read the printed word. Our audiobook catalogue contains over 10,000 titles and we have a total reach of 100,000 members across the UK. We believe that books should be accessible to everyone.
We have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join our small team to help grow Listening Books' reach. If you have excellent organisational and research skills, would like to expand your experience in the charity sector and are interested in representing a charity that supports anyone with a print impairment, then we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the charity, including answering the main telephone line, opening and processing post, booking couriers and obtaining permission to use members’ quotes in marketing materials.
They will undertake the retention of its sponsored and paying members, by contacting renewing individual and organisational members, with the intention of retaining as many as possible and encouraging their use of the audiobook service.
They will also help increase referrals to our service, by building and developing relationships with local partner charities and other relevant organisations. They will allocate funding to eligible new and renewing sponsored members, helping to meet our funding requirements and expand the charity’s membership base.

About the team
In Norfolk we have provided housing advice for over 25 years, with offices in Norwich and Kings Lynn as well as Court Desks in Norwich, Kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth County Courts. We work within communities to understand and respond to the housing issues they have and work in partnership to deliver our priorities: supporting people with additional needs, combatting discrimination and disrepair in the private rented sector and fair access to and delivery of social housing throughout Norfolk.
About the role
You will be the first point of contact for in-person and telephone callers to the service which involves taking client details, providing information and working with advisers to direct enquiries to the right people. You will provide administrative support functions and have responsibility for designing and developing office systems and processes, data input, extraction and analysis and finance administration. Helping the front line team with case administration, assisting the Hub management with ad-hoc projects and making sure that our office equipment is properly maintained – these are all aspects of this interesting, varied and vital role.

The Ogden Trust is recruiting for a Programme Officer to support the delivery of our informal science learning programmes across England, working with universities and employers.
