Who are we?
St. John's is a non-maintained specialist provision, working with autistic people, the majority of whom also have learning disabilities. Some of our learners have co-occurring conditions such as epilepsy, hearing or visual impairments, or mental health needs. We also support autistic learners who have an additional profile of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) syndrome. We have a team built up of support workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, PBS practitioners, assistant psychologists, and more, to support us in our holistic approach to development.
Each learner's curriculum is shaped by their individual strengths, interests, and challenges. St. John's is awarded with Autism Accreditation by the National Autistic Society (NAS). We support our learners to develop their skills in the NAS's four focus areas of:
- Difference in social communication and interaction
- Self-reliance and problem-solving
- Sensory
- Emotional Well-being

We’re looking for a Senior Impact and Learning Manager to help us provide effective impact measurement and learning support for London Sport’s Place Universal Offer (PUO) programme funded by Sport England. The work will also support the delivery of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) in three Place Based delivery areas (Enfield, Lambeth, and Newham).
In the role, you’ll report to the Head of Impact and Learning, and work alongside Insight and Impact colleagues to take ownership of four main workstreams:
- Development, championing and delivery of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) of the PUO programme. (Workstream 1)
- Oversight and project management of delivery of MEL supporting the roll out of the expansion of place-based working in three areas – Enfield, Lambeth and Newham. (Workstreams 2-4)
About You:
- You have excellent understanding and evidenced experience of delivering impact measurement and evaluation practices.
- You will be able to evidence your experience in designing and applying appropriate and proportionate MEL approaches, tools and methods to embed project impact measurement and evaluation to maximise learning.
- You will have significant previous experience of independently commissioning and managing external contractors.
- You have a strong understanding of, and high-level skills in, qualitative and quantitative research and analysis techniques with the ability to synthesise data from a range of sources.
- You will have strong experience of coaching/teaching others to support the development of MEL leads.
- You enjoy working with others and helping them learn. You can build rapport and develop positive relationships with colleagues as a basis for providing support and deliver workshops helping others improve their skills/understanding of MEL.
- You have strong verbal communication skills, project management and organizational skills with an excellent ability to demystify MEL and present learning using simple and tailored communication for maximum engagement.
- You are able to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, equality, diversity and inclusion in relation to London.
- You have lived experience of day-to-day life in London.
Key Details:
- Full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to discussing flexible working options.

The UK Network of Age-friendly Communities has grown significantly over the past five years. Part of a global movement of Age-friendly Cities and Communities, affiliated to the World Health Organisation, our goal is to support this growing network, ensuring it remains a positive and thriving community of practice, and a place for good ideas to spread fast.
With line management responsibility for a Learning Officer, the postholder will plan and implement a programme of activity to inspire, connect, and support network members using a range of engaging and creative methods including:

An understanding of the local policy context around ageing and older people is desirable, but not essential. However, an understanding of how change happens ‘on the ground’, and how learning and networks can support this is key.

We’re seeking an experienced, motivated Programme Manager with a passion for music and culture, and the confidence to drive projects forward in a small, collaborative team.

The Programmes You’ll Lead
Music Producer Club (MPC) – digital music-making for young people aged 12–18, delivered in schools, youth centres and online. Taught by ‘producer educators’ - working music producers we train to educate the next generation -, MPC builds creativity, skills and confidence while connecting participants with electronic music culture and the national curriculum.
Process – a development programme for women, non-binary and trans+ music makers. Structured across three strands for different abilities (Create, Define, Release), Process combines workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to build skills, confidence and community for underrepresented producers.
Out The Box (OTB) – hands-on analogue mixing workshops in leading London studios, giving emerging producers practical experience with desks, outboard gear and professional engineers while bridging digital and analogue production techniques.

Bioregional Learning Centre (BLC) is a place-based systems-change organisation rooted in South Devon. We work with communities, institutions and landscapes to grow the capacities needed for a regenerative, climate resilient, bioregional future.
We are seeking a Bioregional Learning Manager to help design and run a new learning programme in bioregional practice and to coordinate the emerging Bioregional Learning Alliance – an international community of practitioner-educators.
This is a new kind of role. We’re not looking for a ‘finished article’ or a conventional academic. We’re looking for someone who is values-led, curious and organised, and who wants to co-create something pioneering alongside others.
The role
You will:
- Co-design and evolve a practice-led curriculum in bioregional learning and leadership (online and in-person).
- Plan and manage courses and events, including a South Devon learning pathway and international partner offers.
- Coordinate the BLA, supporting meetings, communication and light-touch governance.
- Build and steward relationships with practitioners, communities and partner institutions (including universities and learning centres).
- Support communications, evaluation and programme administration (budgets, contracts, logistics).
Essential skills & experience
We expect you to bring most of the following:
- Deep alignment with regenerative, place-based and more-than-human ways of working
- Experience designing, coordinating or delivering adult / professional learning (formal or informal)
- Strong project and event management skills: planning, scheduling and managing multiple strands
- Confidence holding participatory online and/or in-person learning spaces
- Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work both collaboratively in a small team and independently
- Competence with digital tools for learning and collaboration (e.g. Zoom, Google Workspace, Mighty Networks, etc)
Desirable skills & experience
You might also have:
- Practical experience in bioregioning, regenerative design, community organising, landscape stewardship, or related fields.
- Experience partnering with universities, colleges or independent learning centres.
- Skills in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), especially participatory approaches.
- Some experience of working with both the Global North and Global South.
- Experience with fundraising or developing paid learning offers.

You will have:
- At least three years experience in a learning and development role, preferably at a management level.

- Good knowledge of learning theories, and experience of applying these within the organisational context.
