Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver Enable’s learning and development strategy, aligned with organisational priorities and future workforce needs
- Identify capability gaps across the organisation – and design interventions that build confidence, consistency and compliance
- Lead on all aspects of internal training, including; Mandatory and compliance-based training; Management Development; Skills Based & Professional Development & Soft Skills and resilience-building workshops.
- Partner with the Talent Partner to ensure new joiners experience a seamless onboarding journey into Enable’s learning culture
- Create toolkits, frameworks and learning pathways that are accessible, flexible and inclusive
- Build a blended learning offer using face-to-face, digital, self-led and social learning approaches
- Evaluate learning impact using feedback, performance data and insights to inform continuous improvement
- Support individual development planning, particularly for high-potential staff and those seeking career progression
- Maintain strong relationships with external learning providers and ensure best value from third-party training options
- Promote a culture of learning where staff at all levels take ownership of their development and feel supported in doing so.
- Support the wider HR team as required, contributing to cross-functional projects, operational priorities and the delivery of a cohesive People service.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience designing and delivering impactful learning and development strategies within a multi-site or community-focused organisation.
- Previous experience working within an HR or People function, with an understanding of core HR processes and how L&D aligns with the wider employee lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success in developing and running manager capability programmes.
- Confident facilitator with experience delivering workshops or training to both frontline staff and senior managers.
- Able to identify learning needs through observation, feedback, data and performance trends.
- Knowledge of modern learning practices and digital tools/platforms (LMS, e-learning, blended learning etc).
- A proactive, relationship-focused approach – comfortable working across diverse teams and adapting your style.
- A continuous improvement mindset – always looking to evolve and strengthen learning impact.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Westway Trust as our Adult Learning Manager, responsible for leading the Adult learning provision within a community setting.
You will work closely with the Senior Manager: Learning to ensure that the design and delivery of the Trust’s Learning Programme is innovative, creative and responsive to the creative, cultural, practical and wellbeing needs of community interest.
You will be an ambitious individual who will demonstrate an entrepreneurial flair in identifying and implementing opportunities to develop unique and distinctive learning opportunities specifically oriented to the communities of North Kensington.
You will also provide strategic and operational leadership to the programme team in the delivery of these objectives, and will lead and motivate a team of tutors to drive the programme’s success and meet our strategic goal of putting the community at the heart of what we do.
Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Strategic Leadership and Curriculum Development
- Clear understanding of the national and local policy context of the Adult Education Sector with a focus on: impact on funding or impact on the future curriculum.
- Ensuring the curriculum aligns with educational standards, accreditation requirements, and community demands.
- Leading on the servicing and management of specific regulatory and statutory inspections.
- Develop and articulate a compelling purpose and identity for the Learning Programme to reflect the Trust’s strategic objectives, ensuring that all activities are aligned to this purpose and driving performance.
Programme Management
- Contribute to RBKC self-assessment process, including supporting the Senior Manager: Learning in analysing data and drafting appropriate sections of the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
- Offer clear academic and managerial leadership to all teaching staff involved with the programme and to deploy and organise the team in a way that makes the most effective and efficient use of all team members.
- Working with the team to foster a culture of pride and ownership, setting high expectations and supporting operational discipline and best practice.
- Ensure the effective management of the Adult Learning budget.
- Provide timely and impactful information to the Board of Trustees committees and in support of funding bids as required.
- Co-ordinate the assessment and internal verification process where appropriate, including liaison with the external verifier and preparing for the External Verifier visit.
- To carry out internal verification as required and adhere to quality frameworks, such as the Education Inspection Framework, Internal Quality Assurance and External Quality Assurance requirements.
Quality Improvement
- Working to ensure the highest quality of experience is at the heart of what we do and ensure compliance as required for external regulators.
Talent management and team development
- Working to foster a culture of engagement, ownership and co-creation in the team, cultivating high expectations of themselves and others within a peer support environment.
- Identify and develop the skills and capabilities within the team to deliver its objectives.
External Advocacy
- Represent and advocate for the Trust externally to cement and raise profile and internally when collaborating to meet organisational objectives.
- Help raise the profile of the Westway Learning programme with the wider community.
Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience and up-to-date knowledge of policies, funding frameworks, initiatives and developments of Adult Education.
- Designing and delivering an innovative and distinctive creative/cultural practice curriculum programme in response to identified market needs and to successfully attract new students.
- Managing a diverse team in an educational setting or learning environment, proactively creating a positive working environment and effectively leading a high performing team that contributes to organisational success.
- Working with awarding and Quality Assurance bodies to ensure compliance with identified standards.
- A track record of working with external audit organisations e.g. Awarding Bodies and Ofsted
- Knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework and funding methodologies and their impact on courses and programmes of learning.
- Knowledge of national, regional and local priorities for adult and community learning services.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to adapt approach to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Resilience and able to work under pressure.
Desirable:
- Ideally the post holder will also have a background in ESOL.
- A good understanding of the local area (North Kensington).
Qualifications:
- Teaching qualification or relevant equivalent qualification/experience.
- Educated to degree level or can demonstrate relevant equivalent experience.
- Level 4 TAQA qualification in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes or equivalent qualification.

Role Requirements
- Maintain efficient administration systems that facilitate the smooth operation of the training function with the wider Organisational Development Team.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all enquiries directed to the Learning & Development Team, providing information and assistance as needed
- Oversee the management of the team inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to enquiries while taking ownership of all queries
- Process and oversee internal training bookings using Select HR (our HR System)
- Handle applications for external training, including organising payment and liaising with external trainers as necessary
- Manage all administrative tasks related to in-house training sessions, including generating delegate lists, preparing materials for trainers, and booking rooms, equipment, and catering as required
- Produce and distribute certificates for programme participants upon completion.
- Process invoices from external facilitators, including managing costings for other departments
- Organise & coordinate the training calendar for the following year by liaising with facilitators and colleagues and working with CET and Therapy teams
- Update schedules with changes/additions as they arise and inform training representatives and departments
- Planning and organising ‘ad hoc’ training sessions as and when required
- Prepare monthly induction programme including training memos, induction folders, session materials, catering requests & induction evaluations.
- Deliver brief Training session to new starters and help with tours where necessary
- Deliver appraisee training via teams
- Prepare for training sessions, including sending reminders, organising session materials, catering, room and equipment set up
- Create monthly training and PDR reports and chasing compliance where necessary working with line managers.

ActionAid UK is looking for an experienced and values-driven Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager to play a pivotal role in strengthening the quality, impact and accountability of our development and humanitarian programmes. This is a senior specialist opportunity where your expertise won’t sit on a shelf, it will actively shape high-quality development and humanitarian programmes, strengthen accountability to the communities we work with, and help generate the evidence that moves resources, decisions and systems in the right direction. You’ll help ensure our MEL practice is led by feminist principles and decolonising approaches, centring the knowledge, leadership and priorities of women, girls and marginalised communities in the places where we work. Pushing for evidence that reflects lived realities, valuing qualitative and participatory methods alongside numbers, and challenging extractive data collection and “parachute evaluation” approaches will be central to the role.
In this role you’ll sit at the centre of programme quality, business development and learning. You’ll work closely with colleagues across ActionAid UK and the wider ActionAid Federation, bringing strong MEL leadership into proposal development, project design, inception and delivery. You’ll help ensure that our bids and grants are built on realistic and resourced results frameworks, strong log frames and Theories of Change, and practical monitoring approaches that can stand up to donor scrutiny while staying grounded in what matters locally. You’ll be a go-to technical lead for monitoring, evaluation, accountability and value for money across a major institutional funding landscape, supporting work linked to donors such as the FCDO, DEC, Start Fund and UN agencies, among others. You’ll provide hands-on guidance on MEL frameworks, tools and evaluation Terms of Reference, oversee evaluations and consultant management, and help teams build confidence and capability through coaching, training and practical support. As a line manager to up to two MEL Specialists, you will help nurture a confident, skilled and collaborative MEL function that supports high-quality programming across diverse contexts.
Just as importantly, you’ll help ActionAid UK become sharper at learning and telling the story of change. You’ll drive evidence generation on effectiveness, coordinate learning forums and MEL clinics, and document and share examples of impact internally and externally—including through our contract management systems—to influence practice, build credibility and strengthen our profile. You’ll collaborate with colleagues such as the Women, Peace and Security team to support research strategy delivery, maintain strong internal knowledge assets and develop clear, compelling capacity statements for different audiences.
We’re looking for someone with substantial experience designing and strengthening MEL approaches for humanitarian and development programming, ideally in areas such as women’s rights, VAWG, protection, livelihoods/economic security, resilience and adaptation. You’ll bring deep confidence with results-based planning and participatory approaches, strong knowledge of project cycle management, and a clear ability to coach others and improve systems and not just deliver outputs. You’ll be comfortable representing ActionAid UK externally in MEL spaces and networks, helping to influence policy and practice and building relationships across the sector.

The Role
As Wilder Learning Manager, you’ll lead a small, passionate team delivering inspiring outdoor learning and engagement programmes that connect schools, educators and young people with nature across Sussex. You’ll oversee the delivery and ongoing development of high‑quality accredited training, INSETs, school sessions and advice that supports schools to improve their grounds for nature and outdoor learning.

Key Responsibilities
Learning:
- Manage ADUK’s shared Learning Management System (Moodle) and training platform, supporting members to make the most of the available content and resources.
Knowledge Sharing:
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers from member organisations and candidates to identify learning needs and expertise.
- Coordinate engaging and effective knowledge-sharing programmes aligned with member needs.
Education Delivery:
- Work with ADUK colleagues to coordinate and deliver engaging education initiatives, both in-person and virtually, for service providers and public services.
- Coordinate logistics for external training events, including venues and registrations.
- Support delivery of training for the ADUK’s Corporate Allyship Programme in collaboration with relevant colleagues.
Partnerships and Collaboration:
- Identify opportunities to work with external bodies, partners, and stakeholders to deliver training and share knowledge with the wider community.
Evaluation and Impact:
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of knowledge-sharing programmes and external training and explore how best to leverage this evidence.
- Prepare and present impact reports to inform continuous improvement.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
- Recent and relevant experience (3 years +) in designing and delivering in-person and online training and educational workshops and programmes.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience in managing learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools, (preferably Moodle based LMS)
- Excellent organisations skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and coordinate multiple organisations and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Confident relationship building skills.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach to teamwork, with the ability to work effectively as part of a small team that sits within a large membership network.
- Be able and willing to travel extensively (across England, Wales and Scotland) to deliver in person training.

Main purpose of the role
The Community Leader is responsible for ensuring that the Community is living the mission of L’Arche, by providing excellent and sustainable care and support services, support for spirituality, and engaging with our neighbours and the wider community around us.
The Community Leader will:
- Lead the Community by responding to the needs, choices and context of our members while being faithful to the L'Arche UK Vision and Values, the L'Arche International Identity and Mission Statement, and to a co-created Community Mandate and plan;
- Maintain and enhance high-quality, person-centred care, support, and housing for people with learning disabilities, both at home and in our day services in partnership with the Registered Manager, the local and national teams, individual circles of support, and external partners.
- Ensure the Community’s financial sustainability through robust financial planning and management. This includes setting budgets and controlling spending, maximising housing occupancy, supporting the negotiation of care contracts, growing our day services and spotting fundraising opportunities.
- Foster a culture that maximises the voice and power for people with learning disabilities, and builds listening and collaboration between Community members. This will include working with an active Community Support Group, Community Gatherings, listening groups, and other forums.
- Lead and manage a committed and engaged leadership team to achieve objectives, set a positive culture, and support the personal and professional growth of our teams.
- Cultivate an open, creative, and inclusive spiritual life, inviting everyone in the Community to deepen their connections.
- Model, advocate for, and embrace the L’Arche ethos of deep, long-term, and mutually transforming relationships between people with and without learning disabilities. Plan and lead a regular calendar of events that build community belonging and help keep people connected.
- Contribute to the national work programmes of L’Arche UK, as part of the National Council, collaborating with Community Leaders of other L’Arche Communities, to share skills, best practice and resources.
- Be a visible representative of L’Arche locally in the wider community, with stakeholders like local authorities, professional organisations, schools, faith communities, and L’Arche world wide.
Key essential criteria
- Senior leadership experience in support to adults with learning disabilities (or transferable skills and experience in a closely-related field).
- Experience leading and managing an organisation or large teams to deliver results, maintain compliance and quality, and to respond to risks and opportunities.
- Experience leading and developing diverse teams to flourish, individually and together.
- Good financial planning skills and experience successfully managing a substantial budget.
- Evidence of the ability to think strategically, and work collaboratively to develop and implement community plans.
- Experience of living or working alongside people with learning disabilities and/or autistic individuals

Coventry Youth Activists (CYA) is the UK's only youth-led campaign group run by and for disabled young people—70% of members have learning disabilities—and they need a Community Organiser to help them take on one of their biggest fights yet: defending SEND rights.
This isn't traditional charity work. CYA doesn't lobby for disabled young people—they campaign as them. From Mad Hatter's Tea Parties outside Facebook HQ to high-level negotiations with decision-makers, their approach is bold, creative, and effective. What you'll be doing
You'll support CYA members to challenge urgent threats to their rights—particularly government reforms affecting SEND (Special Educational Need and Disability) rights. This means:

- Facilitating actions, media engagement, and high-level negotiations
- Coaching young leaders and building their confidence to take the lead
- Creating alliances and expanding CYA's reach and influence
