Your role

We are seeking a Digital Communication & Events Coordinator to support Design for Good’s programmes and initiatives. You will bring energy, ownership, and initiative to strengthen existing work and deliver new activities, working closely with our Communications & PR lead, programme staff, and senior management to execute our digital communications and events strategy.

Key requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in Business, Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field, with a strong interest in digital communications and events.

• Highly organised, detail-oriented, able to structure, prioritise, and meet deadlines consistently.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, international team.

Key responsibilities

Digital Communications & Social Media

• Support development and execution of social media strategies to expand reach and impact.

• Schedule, publish, and manage content across social and email channels.

• Create social media assets (graphics, animations, reels, videos).

• Monitor, analyse, and report monthly on performance.

• Ensure consistency across all digital communication channels.

• Support creation of the Annual Review, including content coordination and internal reviews.

The Executive Officer to CEO leads the effective running of the CEO’s office, providing strategic project management, coordination of leadership priorities, and hands-on delivery across strategy development, planning and governance.

This is a pivotal role within War Child, sitting at the heart of the organisation’s leadership and governance. Working closely with the CEO, Leadership Group, Chair and Board of Trustees, the Executive Officer to CEO plays a key role in enabling effective decision-making, organisational oversight and delivery of War Child’s ambitions for children.

Location: Hybrid – NASP have an office space at London's Southbank Centre which can be used by staff at any time. Purpose of This Role:

This is a key role within NASP’s Operations team, leading on financial processes and procedures across the organisation. The Finance Manager will develop and maintain accurate and consistent records, provide regular reporting to support budgeting & forecasting, support on the annual audit, and ensure regulatory compliance & best practice across all of NASP’s work.

The role will work closely with the CEO, Director of Operations, and the Operations Coordinator (Finance & HR); as well as our outsourced accounting service provider (Carpenter Box). In addition, the role will support colleagues and teams more widely by costing funding bids for income generation, grant reporting, project accounting, and providing general financial expertise and guidance.

The Finance Manager will also support in preparing projections and updates for NASP’s Board of Trustees, working with the CEO, DoO, and Chair of the Finance, Audit, Investment & Risk Subcommittee (FAIRCo); this will include deputising for the Director of Operations on finance-related matters where appropriate.

Person Specification:
Experience & Knowledge:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA) or equivalent
• Knowledge of the VCFSE sector and/or Social Prescribing
• Experience of working within an accounts/finance role within a small to medium charity or the not-for-profit sector
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Charity Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP)
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory standards

Responsibilities:
Financial Management

• Review monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate coding and reporting, working with budget holders and reporting any adjustments to Carpenter Box
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting, including scenario planning and going concern forecasts
• Manage accounts receivable/payable; follow up on unpaid invoices/outstanding payments, ensuring these are escalated as necessary
• Regular review of processes and procedures, ensuring robustness and efficiency at all levels
• Support Carpenter Box with quarterly VAT and Gift Aid returns as necessary
• Support Carpenter Box with year end annual account preparation
• Oversee provision of appropriate accounting and finance software (Xero, Soldo, ApprovalMax)
• Deputise for Director of Operations where necessary, e.g. payroll or providing updates to NASP’s Board of Trustees

Governance, Compliance, & Board Support

• Provide oversight for financial processes across NASP, ensuring compliance with both NASP’s policy suite and any regulatory requirements
• Support on process for annual audit and NASP’s annual report, providing relevant documents to auditors, answering queries, ensuring timelines are met
• Advising the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) on any relevant updates to legislation or regulatory requirements
• Provide relevant reports and updates to NASP’s Board of Trustees and Finance Subcommittee, attending meetings where appropriate

Wider Organisational Support

• Work with Fundraising Consultant and colleagues as required to support on income generation, such as providing costings for bids; and mantaining accurate records on bids currently in progress and expected income
• Supporting on financial reporting for grants, such as providing I&E statements or other information as required
• Work with budget holders to set budgets, forecast, and monitor to ensure robust management and accurate reporting of overspend or underspend
• Provide general financial expertise & support to colleagues across the organisation

The Information Manager is a pivotal senior role within The Migraine Trust—responsible for shaping and developing all health information produced by the organisation. This role ensures that our information is accurate, accessible, evidence‑based and meets the highest national standards, including oversight of our Patient Information Forum (PIF TICK) accreditation. The health information we produce covers a wide range of topics from migraine treatments, management of migraine, latest research and migraine triggers. There is also an ongoing need to scope new information needs and, where identified, produce new information. The depth of health information we currently have and will produce in the future ensures that this role will offer plenty of opportunities to work with a range of stakeholders on a variety of information topics. We currently hold PIF TICK certification, which will be part of this role to maintain. Acting as the charity’s subject‑matter expert on migraine information, the postholder plays a vital strategic role in influencing organisational priorities, ensuring the public, healthcare professionals, policymakers and wider stakeholders have access to accurate, impactful and up‑to‑date content.

Producing and maintaining quality information

Manage The Migraine Trust’s provision of health information in line with the charity’s annual planning cycle and the PIF TICK accreditation.  This will include: -

· Lead The Migraine Trust’s health information portfolio, ensuring alignment to annual plans, organisational strategy, and PIF TICK quality standards

· Manage the full lifecycle of health information—from scoping and research to writing, expert review, design and publication

· Reviewing and updating existing information content, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, accessible and produced in consultation with service users and people with lived experience, relevant medical advisors, health care professionals, the charity’s staff and other relevant specialists and organisations when appropriate

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of conferences, meetings and digital events -from early planning and stakeholder engagement through to delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement. You will work closely with colleagues, committees, Professional Conference Organisers and external suppliers to ensure events are engaging, well-managed, financially sound and aligned with BSG’s strategic priorities.

This is a varied, high-impact role combining strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
