REPORTING TO: Head of Services

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Team Leaders and other service-based roles as required

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Are you an experienced leader with a passion for supporting people to overcome homelessness and build independent lives?

We are looking for a Service Manager to lead our supported accommodation services, ensuring residents receive high-quality, trauma-informed and person-centred support that promotes safety, stability, independence and long-term tenancy sustainment.

The Service Manager will have overall responsibility for the operational leadership, quality, performance and contract delivery of both the LB Newham Core and Intensive Support Accommodation services. The role will ensure a joined-up support pathway for residents with low, medium, high and complex support needs, supporting positive move-on outcomes and sustainable independent living.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to drive service excellence, lead and develop high-performing teams, and work collaboratively with commissioners, housing providers and partner agencies. You will play a key role in shaping services, improving outcomes for residents, and embedding our values of Growth, Inclusion, Collaboration and Compassion throughout service delivery.

The successful candidate will have experience managing services within homelessness, supported housing, social care or a related field, alongside strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, tenancy sustainment and partnership working.
