Job description

Quartet Community Foundation is looking for an experienced manager who enjoys building relationships, has strong communication skills, strives to achieve excellent donor stewardship and is motivated by Quartet’s mission and values.

The role

This is a key role within Quartet’s Philanthropy team, leading our place-based work across Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES) and building new relationships in North Somerset alongside our new Head of Professional Adviser Partnerships, helping donors give confidently and effectively to achieve meaningful impact in local communities.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of fund holders, provide high-quality, trusted philanthropy advice and grant making support, build relationships with prospects and partners, and raise Quartet’s profile across B&NES. They will also engage with our North Somerset fund holders and grantees. They will support events, develop insight into local community need, contribute to our wider philanthropy strategy, and line manage four Philanthropy Officers.
