We are looking for a motivated individual to join us as Team and Office Assistant, effectively supporting the small but busy RSTMH Team by providing proactive and comprehensive support across our key areas of work.

The role will require someone who preferably has some experience of providing support and administration to a busy team (preferably within the charity/not-for-profit sector), who is flexible, has excellent time management skills and is able work on own initiative. The successful candidate will be working across various RSTMH activities, including membership, journals, events, Early Career Grants, and communications; therefore, they will need to be efficient and organised, with strong computer skills and a professional outlook.

The Role:

• To develop and maintain effective working relationships across RSTMH
• To ensure that all general, email, telephone and written enquiries are dealt with efficiently and promptly
• To support with the management of the RSTMH office and office processes
• To undertake electronic and paper filing, and maintain filing systems appropriately
• To support with team planning, scheduling and social events and activities 
• To assist with the management and promotion of the RSTMH meeting room
• To support with financial administration
• To support the planning of RSTMH events, including handling delegate registration enquiries via telephone and email, collating event packs and materials, and conducting desk research on the cost and availability of venues and caterers.
• To attend RSTMH events, assisting with Zoom support on online events, and assisting as necessary at in person events.
• To assist with the administration associated with the RSTMH Early Career Grants programme, which includes analysing key data and helping produce reports for the team, our Committees and donors.

• To support the Communications Manager in scheduling and sourcing content for social media
• To support on the website by uploading and editing content through the CMS
• To help create and send the fortnightly member newsletter and the monthly non-member newsletter
• To support the Communications Manager in creating content to be shared across RSTMH communications channels
• To assist with communications planning
• To be responsible for the general administration and upkeep of RSTMH’s online opportunities platform, grow
• To support with strategies to increase members of RSTMH
• To assist with enquiries from current and prospective members in a professional, timely manner, and to agreed service targets.
• To support with membership management, ensuring data is up to date using CiviCRM
• To provide support to the managing editor for Journal-related tasks
• To ensure that all assigned tasks are completed to a high standard
• To participate in team meetings, planning and initiatives
• To assist in any administrative tasks to support the team and wider RSTMH community

Essential Technical Skills:

• Ability to manage a diverse set of priorities and meet deadlines to a consistently high standard
• Capacity to set up and maintain administrative processes and office systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong understanding of delivering great customer service
• Experience of being responsible for initiating, planning, and developing own areas of work

• Community & Network Connection: Drive and nurture robust community and network connections for the Oxfordshire food partnership. This includes organising and attending events, and conducting visits to network members and community food groups to ensure GFO is well-connected and able to best support the needs of the food sustainability scene in Oxfordshire. 

• Strategic Impact & Measurement: Serve as the key contact for Sustainable Food Places, overseeing the uptake and diligently measuring the impact of the Oxfordshire Food Strategy and Food Action Plans. 

• Partnership & Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with research cohorts we are involved in, such as FEAST, ensuring collaborative success and mutual benefit. 

• Campaign & Initiative Delivery: Drive forward impactful food-waste projects and campaigns, including the beloved Pumpkin Festival and the Great Big Green Lunch, from conception to successful execution. 

• Strategic Development & Reporting: Work closely with the CEO to drive forward strategic change within GFO. Collaborate with the Comms and Fundraising Lead to ensure timely and accurate updates are provided on funded projects for reports and communications.

Position: CE369 Full-stack Developer (two posts)

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Digital Developer, the Full-stack Developer will help to make a mark on the transformation and future proofing of all Association websites and microsites whilst helping the development/digital marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Combining solid LAMP stack experience with strong skills in HTML, JavaScript and pre-processed CSS and a proven working knowledge of Drupal 9/10 to build accessible and high performing responsive website solutions
• Working in an agile environment, both independently and with other team members, from tickets created in the Jira project management system by a range of internal clients across the charity
• A willingness to switch between the back and front end development aspects of the role depending on the requirement of each given task
• Offering solutions to problems and improvements to the quality of the Drupal development environment

• Ensuring that best practices are followed for both back and front end performance
• Writing high standard, clean code to best current practices using version control (Git)

About You

You will have/be:

About the role

We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in complex mental health and substance misuse to join our team in Croydon. This is a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. You will utilise your previous experience and knowledge, and provide specialist support to those who have been diagnosed with mental ill health and have challenges with substance use. You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills.

Within this role, you will act as a specialist for comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of the duties may include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About you

We’re looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with previous experience in a similar role. We look at individual characteristics to be able to show resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive in your approach. You will have a passion for supporting people to achieve their personal goals, and achieve positive outcomes, this includes having the ability to engage with people who may be hard to reach and engage with. We further are looking for someone who has:

• An appropriate qualification which is relevant to the role which could include: National Diploma, Bachelors, or master’s in psychology, Dual Diagnosis, Substance Misuse or any relevant
• Previous experience in a similar role, providing holistic assessments and support for people experiencing mental health challenges
• Applied knowledge of the principles of risk assessment and risk management, particularly in relation to harm minimisation.
• A commitment to promoting recovery, harm reduction, and active involvement in care planning.
• Ability to apply relapse prevention models to promote sustained recovery and harm reduction.

The Snowdrop Project is the first organisation in the UK to provide long-term, community based support to survivors of modern slavery and exploitation. We aim to empower survivors of modern slavery and exploitation to recover from their experiences and thrive. We are looking for a passionate advocate who is committed to ensuring survivors of modern slavery are able to access their rights and entitlements in the UK with a trauma-informed approach. This role provides support to clients referred to Snowdrop’s Reach-In provision. Reach-In provides long-term support to survivors leaving the UK Modern Slavery and Victim Care Contract (MSVCC) following a positive conclusive grounds National Referral Mechanism (NRM) decision.

Snowdrop supports Reach-In clients across South Yorkshire both from our offices in Sheffield and in the local community within the MSVCC Reach-In framework.

As Philanthropy and Strategic Foundations Executive, you will manage and grow a portfolio of four-to-five-figure philanthropic and trust-based partnerships, delivering flexible income to support our global and UK programmes.

You will lead our Major Donor Programme and Supporting Trust Portfolio, building and nurturing long-term relationships to deepen engagement and secure ongoing support.

Alongside fundraising, you will provide essential administrative, financial, and project co-ordination support to the wider Partnerships for Impact function, ensuring the delivery of high-quality donor experiences.

You will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Strategic Foundations, Philanthropy & Strategic Foundations Leads, and wider Partnerships for Impact colleagues to manage team processes, ensure visibility of key information, and assist managers on existing partnerships. 

In this role, you will: 

• Manage and grow a portfolio of philanthropists and trusts, fostering meaningful, long-term relationships to maximise income and impact 

• Deliver flexible funding targets by leading the Major Donor Programme and Supporting Trusts Portfolio, with a focus on donor stewardship and retention 

• Support the Philanthropy & Strategic Foundations team with day-to-day operations, administration and project co-ordination to ensure high-quality delivery 

• Act as the team's humanitarian response representative co-ordinating with internal teams and ensuring a speedy, and efficient notification to all donors of any emergency activations

About you 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Proven experience managing donor portfolios and cultivating four-to-five-figure funding relationships 

• Demonstrable success in securing flexible income through philanthropic and trust fundraising 

• Strong skills in writing impactful proposals and donor reports tailored to funder expectations 

• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities, both internally and externally 

• A highly organised and proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a complex portfolio
