· Supporting the Digital Products Manager in producing and managing all web content, resources and other digital assets.
· Ensuring the SCIE website and SCIE’s digital resources communicate, educate and engage impactfully with our target audiences and customers.

· To ensure the SCIE website’s messaging, content positioning, user journeys, information architecture and content currency are effective, working with content owners and subject specialists so that the website, its offers and content is timely, high-quality, consistent, and designed for digital dissemination.
· To support the creation, development and ongoing management of digital based products and services, in line with the brand, including webinars, podcasts, marketing emails, and surveys.
· To support the Digital Product Manager to work with colleagues across the organisation, commissioners, customers, the workforce, people with lived experience and carers to update and develop the SCIE’s website and ensure that resources are appropriate and useful.
This role sits within the Marketing and Communications team, led by the Head of Marketing and Communications, and working alongside colleagues in the wider Business Development and Marketing directorate.
What we are looking for:
· Excellent written communication skills, with a commitment to communicating clearly and in plain English.
· Excellent oral communication skills.
· Experience of Content Management Systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc) and publishing content for a website with multiple audiences and priorities.

The Supporter-led Fundraising (SLF) Department at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for mass fundraising through enabling individuals and communities to support ARUK through their own talents and passions. The team drives registrations and income through third party, virtual and mass participation events and manages these relationships to maximise income.
The Central Fundraising Team is the beating heart of SLF as they work across Regional, Sporting Events and Marketing & Engagement teams to ensure our supporters receive incredible stewardship to achieve their fundraising goals. They ensure processes are in place to allow teams to work together effectively and maximise opportunities and innovation that come through online fundraising platforms and fundraisers.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Line Management
· Line management of two Central Fundraising Executives and Senior Central Fundraising Officer.
· Monitor, review, and empower the team to ensure effective communication and place CFT as the heart of SLF.
· Support all CFT to reach their non-financial targets.
· Work with Senior Manager and Senior officer to deliver monthly meetings with the whole team to share ideas and creativity, gather feedback and understand successes and challenges.
· Spot potential development opportunities across the team.
Monitoring and Reporting
· Ensure the fundraising CRM is being used consistently across CFT the wider SLF department to facilitate accurate supporter stewardship and financial reporting.
· Effectively understand and communicate reporting processes undertaken by the CFT and gather feedback to ensure these are the most effective for both teams.
· Act as Lead for the Fundraising CRM use for the Community Fundraising Managers, RFOs and Central Fundraising Team to allow accurate, insightful, and consistent reporting.
· Provide the CFT and regionally based teams with the tools they need for effective working relationships.
· Provide a monthly Department Report update for CFT as well as ad-hoc reporting when required.
· Use data and trends to support the SLF leadership team in in budgeting and forecasting.
· Work closely with the Data and Digital teams to monitor SLF’s contactable supporter base and segmentation.
· Assess and address Salesforce training needs across SLF
· Proactively Identify and Resolve Salesforce Issues, escalating to Senior Central Fundraising Manager where appropriate.
Supporter Stewardship
· Lead on the delivery of a unified approach to supporter care across SLF, including use of data, automation, product development and LTV.
· Monitor and gather feedback from employees and supporters about our stewardship and ‘surprise and delight’ offerings, constantly seeking creative and inspirational new stewardship methods and relevant improvements.
· Coordinate the re-engagement stewardship project for all SLF teams, with structured content input from Managers and direction from the CFM responsible for DIY fundraising.
· Inspire and train the CFT to nurture active fundraisers and build relationships to increase long-term loyalty.
· Frequently analyse and understand SLF supporter journeys to ensure they are consistent, ensure collaboration and idea sharing and offer the best level of stewardship for the supporter.
· Understand and analyse how RFOs and CFT steward supporters through to ensure cohesion, passing of leads between teams and sharing best practice across the wider team at all times
· Regularly review and analyse the supporter chase process to ensure we are receiving funds in a timely manner.
· Review and analyse the tiering system regularly to ensure it is fit for purpose and is offering the supporter the best stewardship journey.
· Lead on the implementation of recommendations from the annual mystery shopping exercise.
Project Management
· Become the lead for projects which involve the whole or majority of SLF to ensure tasks are delegated fairly and completed on time. Examples include Skydiving Days and Last Hour of Pay as well as platforms such as Tiltify and GivePanel.
· Be the central expert for SLF-wide process and projects, gathering experience and knowledge from all SLF teams and provide efficient and helpful updates accordingly.
Strategy and Operational Planning
· Provide creative and innovative suggestions for new supporter engagement and online fundraising products and projects. Work closely with the Senior Officers to implement and see through to completion.
· Identify opportunities for growth and diversification within the Online Fundraising space.
· Make recommendations on team structure and resource as part of the Ops Planning process.
· Work with the Director of Supporter-led fundraising to develop our strategic approach to innovation around digital and gaming channels.
Collaboration
· Support the CFT Senior Officer in overseeing the joint working between the Central Fundraising Team, the Regional Fundraising Officers and the Sporting Events Officers ensuring that supporters are given the best level of stewardship.
· Work closely with the Marketing & Engagement Team to share trends, learnings and collaborate on new projects and automated stewardship journeys.
· Continue to improve communications across all departments to ensure all resources are available across all teams.
· To ensure the team is the centre point of SLF and sharing communications regularly and have a good understanding of what is happening across each department.
· Work closely with managers from SLF Departments to ascertain workloads for the rest of CFT and ensure support is consistent across the department. To gain feedback from the different departments as to how processes are working and review for potential changes.
· Continue to review the level of support the team will offer to each SLF Department and ensure this is followed.
· Monitoring CFT and RFO KPIs/Goals to ensure consistency.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The role
Cruse Bereavement Support is a charity providing bereavement information and support to grieving people across the UK. We are looking for an organised and motivated Marketing and Communications Officer to join our small marcomms team and help increase the reach and engagement of our digital marketing and communications channels.

Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.
The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping over 550 families with support, education, and research programmes, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.

As part of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s Strategic Marketing Leadership Team, the Head of Marketing Planning plays a pivotal role in planning and integrating the charity’s marketing programmes to accelerate progress towards a cure.
The Strategic Marketing directorate lead collaboration across the charity to ensure a cohesive public facing narrative and marketing plan that will drive onward customer engagement and action. We do this through growing brand awareness, delivering excellence in digital capability and marketing, providing outstanding fundraising and marketing insight, and creating a single source of truth for marketing performance. You will work alongside the Head of Brand, Head of Digital and Head of Insight and Strategic Development.
The Head of Marketing Planning is responsible for driving planning and programme excellence across our marketing teams and initiatives that will support and increase informed collaboration. This role will have ownership of key planning and operating models that allows ARUK to deliver effective marketing programmes to achieve our goals. You will be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to improve the effectiveness of our overall marketing programme.
This is a brand new role for the charity and as such you will be expected to shape and develop the resource this function will require, assessing the current situation alongside your peers and the senior leadership team and compiling a recommendation.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Setting ourselves up for success
· Assess and prioritise the varying needs across the charity for greater marketing integration, improved planning, more consistent measurement and improved ways of working.
· Partner with fundraising, communications, campaigning, digital, brand and marketing teams to deliver a consolidated marketing plan across owned, shared, earned and paid media, championing planning principles and a collaborative approach to ensure opportunities are explored and integrated for maximum effect.
· Lead the development of an overarching, insight driven audience strategy, ensuring buy in and support. Ensure all key audiences are reflected with a clear rationale. Oversee how these audiences are being targeted and performing on an ongoing basis.

Leadership and people management
· Develop a clear resourcing plan and recruit to this brand new team. Bring in talent and ensure individuals are inspired, motivated, challenged and supported and actively embed Alzheimer’s Research UK values and leadership attributes across all activities. Champion the principles of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
· Promote collaborative working across various marketing teams across the charity, developing a culture of one marketing team, one marketing plan.
· Lead cross functional working groups to ensure goals are met, specifically to make the most of key moments during the year and ensure ongoing best practice in planning and measurement.
· Lead and oversee ways of working with key marketing partners such as our media agency, ensuring agency roles are fully understood, agencies work effectively with each other and specifically that the media partnership is successful through routine, 2-way reviews and assessment.
Marketing optimisation
· Lead the development of propositions and plans to maximise the impact of key moments through the year; both proactive and reactive, such as World Alzheimer’s Month or new drug discoveries.
· Ensure we have the optimal balance of spend, channel and audience to drive media performance and efficiency.

The Pangea Trust is seeking a Fundraising and Communications Manager with an excellent track record of generating income from a variety of sources. You’ll have strong interpersonal and management skills and a talent for developing and stewarding high-value relationships, writing compelling proposals, and shaping opportunities for donors to give.

THE PANGEA TRUST
The Pangea Trust is a charity registered in the UK and Portugal that exists to provide a compassionate solution to Europe's zoos and circuses seeking a life-long home for elephants in need.
We count some of the most influential animal charities amongst our members, and their belief in our mission is reflected in their generous funding commitments. Thanks to their support, we have acquired a 1000-acre estate in Alentejo, Portugal, which is currently being regenerated to create a haven for both elephants and native wildlife. Our management approach is supported by leading captive experts and wild elephant biologists and, with the backing of the Portuguese authorities secured, the first phase of site development is now underway.
The next challenge is to raise the necessary capital through both in-kind and financial donations that will enable Pangea to welcome its first resident elephants.
THE ROLE
The Fundraising and Communications Manager will be inspiring, intuitive, energetic and entrepreneurial, and conduct themselves with confidence and authority.
Key tasks will include:
· Strategy and planning: Work with the Managing Director to deliver a fundraising strategy and build a portfolio of donors and a pipeline of prospects.
· Propositions: Create compelling and tailored proposals for major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners, to secure both in-kind and financial gifts.
· Networking: Build connections and grow peer-to-peer networks.
· Donor relationship management: Nurture and develop existing and new relationships with high value individuals and other organisations, including through pitching giving opportunities via impactful presentations, visits, correspondence and personal conversations.
· Prospect research, records and reporting: Undertake prospect research through public sources to inform plans and decision-making, ensure good record keeping and provide regular reports to the Managing Director.
· Communications: Work with the Managing Director and Marketing Lead to direct external communications that facilitate fundraising, in turn building a credible brand and growing our supporter base.
· Compliance & due diligence: Be accountable for embedding relevant fundraising standards and expectations, including compliance with the Charity Commission, the Fundraising Regulator, and data protection requirements, and conduct due diligence checks.
· Management responsibility: Liaise with and management of external agencies to deliver against objectives. This role currently has no immediate line management responsibility but the team is expected to grow quickly to support individual giving and other communications functions, which could allow for fast progression within this role.
The ideal candidate should ideally demonstrate the following attributes:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a fundraising and/or marketing position.
- Demonstrable experience and creativity in income generation, fundraising, and achieving targets.
- Previous success in increasing philanthropy income.
- Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills to create compelling proposals.
- A team player who also enjoys working autonomously.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and persuading a diverse range of stakeholders and building genuine relationships.
- Highly professional and organised, with good attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to build strong external relationships and inspire confidence in colleagues and external stakeholders.
- A flexible, "can do" attitude, and a tenacious, creative, entrepreneurial spirit, thriving in a small, fast-paced, and dynamic team.
- Solutions-focused, resilient in the face of setbacks and challenges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to use databases and spreadsheets to inform decisions.
- Strong empathy and commitment to Pangea's mission.
- Excellent spoken and written English, and ideally living in the UK or Portugal.
