As Community Partnerships Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our fundraising efforts, generating income from our corporate partners and supporters in our community; fuelling our essential programs and pioneering pilot initiatives. You'll be the driving force behind building strong relationships with businesses, charities and individuals, that secure vital funding and skilled volunteers for our services.

Previous experience in a community or corporate fundraising role is not essential, but you must have the ability to network productively and pitch proposals to a variety of audiences.

This role can be office based or predominantly remote to suit you (albeit there will be times when you need to be in Billericay or elsewhere in Essex).

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

· Full driving license. Able to drive Hamelin vehicles as well as use of own car

· Experience of writing professionally and persuasively

· Experience of working across teams and influencing other Managers

· Experience of presenting complex information for a variety of audiences

· Great communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and credibility

· Bravery to challenge the status quo and embrace a continuous improvement approach

· The ability to understand complex information and analyse data

· ICT skills such as the MS Office suite

It would be great if you had:

· Formal qualification or training in fundraising, marketing, sales, bid writing or other fundraising disciplines

· Experience of building deep and beneficial relationships with businesses

· Experience of working with individuals with a learning disability or neurodiversity

· Experience of change management and service growth

They’re looking for a Director of Programmes with a proven ability to scale services, build systems that support consistent delivery, and ensure quality is never compromised. You may come from a background in large-scale event operations, network-based service models, or high-growth commercial environments where building for scale was central to your role. • Proven experience designing and scaling programme or product delivery in a fast-growth, impact-focused or operationally complex environment

• Strong operational and strategic leadership, with the ability to codify delivery models, build scalable systems, and maintain quality at pace

• A data-informed mindset, with confidence using insight, analytics, and digital tools to drive performance and decision-making

• Experience leading and developing teams, fostering a high-performance culture, and collaborating effectively across functions such as digital, marketing, fundraising, and partnerships

This Communications Officer role is available on a fixed term contract and part-time basis. The salary for this role is £35,000 FTE (pro-rata for 4 days a week). This role is also available on a remote basis.
 
You will report to the Director of Fundraising and look after the communications function of the charity. You will support with work on a rebrand, campaign management and continuous updating of the charity’s website. You will produce high quality content which includes, engaging articles, social media and website content, newsletters, flyers, booklets, and impact stories. You will also film and edit reels for social media channels.
 
You will play a key role supporting the Director of Fundraising in managing/promoting fundraising campaigns, initiatives and events. You will also support with day-to-day marketing duties such as reporting website stats, beneficiary feedback, press management and updating directories. 
 
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent copywriting skills and be able to write for a range of different audiences with impact. You will be digitally savvy and experience using WordPress and web analytics tools (e.g. GA4). You will have in brand management and understanding of SEO. You will have experience using design software (e.g. Canva/InDesign). You will have experience executing fundraising campaigns and publishing digital and print content. You will also have experience in working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
 
Desirably, you will have experience filming and editing reels for social media and basic understanding of HTML.

Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) is the national governing body for the game of wheelchair rugby in England, Scotland, and Wales, is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, and is a full member of World Wheelchair Rugby (WWR) and of the British Paralympic Association (BPA).  

In the last ten years, GBWR has grown the paralympic discipline of the sport from a domestic league with a single division comprised of seven teams, to one which now has three leagues providing competition opportunities for 22 teams. The domestic league is internationally recognised for its high level of competition, where it regularly sees international players from Europe joining domestic teams and strengthening the level of competition.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Community and Participation to lead the development and implementation of strategies aimed at significantly increasing participation in wheelchair rugby across Great Britain. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful community outreach programs, engaging with local clubs and organisations, and developing innovative approaches to reach new participants, particularly those that are classifiable for wheelchair rugby (Paralympic discipline).

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in community development, sports development, and marketing, with a strong understanding of how to build sustainable participation pathways. While experience within disability sports is advantageous, it is not essential for an individual with the right blend of skills and passion.

Thrombosis UK is a small but impactful health charity focused on raising awareness, funding research, and supporting education around venous thromboembolism (VTE). With a team of just three staff and a dedicated Board, we are entering a transitional period and are seeking an Interim CEO to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide hands-on leadership while we recruit a permanent CEO.

The Bird of Prey Project is a registered charity and multiple award-winning visitor centre and zoo working to conserve birds of prey, restore habitats and make wildlife education accessible. At this exciting time for the organisation, we are looking to recruit a new Charity Manager who can manage the visitor centre whilst working alongside the Board of Trustees to develop strategy and objectives for the charity. You will have the incredible opportunity to lead a team working to inspire the public about wildlife, develop the highest standards of bird welfare and restore populations of wild raptors.  

What is the role about?

The Charity Manager works directly with the Board of Trustees to manage the charity and visitor centre.

The visitor centre receives over 10,000 visitors per year who provide the majority of the charity’s income. The senior bird team provide a high standard of ethical raptor care to over 20 species, using restraint free management and free-flight techniques, and also deliver experiences and displays to the public. The Charity manager works to ensure that the site is safe and compliant with law & best practice, the senior bird team are provided with adequate resources and that the visitor centre is meeting goals for income generation.   

The charity’s mission is to Conserve birds of prey, restore habitats and make wildlife education accessible. The Charity Manager over-sees the staff team delivering the charity activities, ensuring work is recorded and reported correctly.

You would also be responsible for line managing both Deputy Centre Managers. You should be confident in making decisions and able to balance opportunity and risk. An ability to operate within and develop governance, finance and risk frameworks is also a key part of the role, and whilst a background with working with birds of prey or in wildlife conservation is not necessary, you should be passionate about The Bird of Prey Project’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Line manage and lead personal development of the Deputy Centre Managers.
• Overseeing income generation through visitor experience, including social media and marketing
• Develop new streams of income generation – including fundraising
• Act as company secretary and ensure our compliance with our licensing requirements, Charity Commission guidance, financial regulations, the law, and other relevant regulations/guidance/best practice.
• Maintaining, updating and creating policies, procedures and risk assessments as required
• Reporting charity impact and activities
• Work with the charity finance specialist trustee to:
  • accurately record finances
  • ensure key payments are made and collected on time
  • deliver payroll for employees
  • reconcile cash payments
  • review monthly forecast vs actuals reports
  • forecast and budget for the charity.
• Manage any relationships with any external bodies.
• Lead the strategic development of the organisation alongside the Board of Trustees.
• Attend, contribute to, and act as Secretary for board meetings
