Purpose of the Job:
The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for leading and managing all fundraising activities to generate income for the Sanctuary. The role involves developing corporate partnerships, organising events, and overseeing digital fundraising efforts. The post-holder will also be responsible for delivering effective, measurable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for business supporters, managing fundraising campaigns, and ensuring financial targets are met.
This role is key to increasing corporate and community engagement, growing fundraising channels, and enhancing the Sanctuary’s digital presence to maximise income generation. The Head of Fundraising will work closely with internal teams to coordinate activities, monitor performance, and identify new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Fundraising & Partnerships
· Develop and maintain a pipeline of corporate donors, securing new partnerships while managing existing relationships and ensure that these relationships are properly managed through regular contact and progress reports.
· Build strong relationships with business supporters to secure both general and restricted funds.
· Develop and deliver corporate volunteering days, team-building activities, and fundraising opportunities.
· Oversee the logistics, including venue bookings for corporate and external events, increasing revenue through targeted business engagement.
· Review contracts, letters of agreement and other correspondence for current corporate partners.
Fundraising Strategy & Income Generation
· Work closely with the senior management and the Board to develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy.
· Propose and test new fundraising opportunities across corporate, digital, and community fundraising streams.
· Support and deliver fundraising events, appeals, and campaigns to meet financial targets.
· Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practices, including GDPR and the Charities Act.
Events & Campaign Management
· Plan and execute fundraising events, coordinating internal and external teams for smooth delivery.
· Lead on corporate sponsorship and event partnerships to maximise income and brand exposure.
· Represent the Sanctuary at networking events, industry meetings, and public engagements to increase awareness and secure funding.
Digital Fundraising & Social Media
· Oversee digital fundraising campaigns, maximising income from online channels.
· Develop compelling digital content to engage supporters and attract new donors.
· Manage social media fundraising activities across platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
· Track, analyse, and report on digital fundraising performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
Monitoring & Reporting
·Regularly review fundraising performance, preparing reports for senior management and Board.
· Maintain accurate donor and corporate records, ensuring data is up to date and GDPR compliant.
General Duties
· Meet regularly with Trustee to update them on proposals and to provide regular updates on progress.
· Assist with website content, newsletters, and marketing materials.
· Always ensure a positive representation of the Sanctuary, especially when engaging with the public and corporate partners.
· Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to support key fundraising activities.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Supporter Engagement Manager to join our dedicated income generation team on a 12-month, fixed-term contract.
The Supporter Engagement Manager will lead the acquisition, retention and development of individual donors through our multi-channel campaigns, ensuring growth in our donor base and engagement with our supporters. Are you an experienced paid digital expert who is also passionate about nature? We're looking for someone to join our membership marketing team and deliver income-generating recruitment campaigns.
You will have proven expertise of managing the delivery of paid search, social and display advertising using a range of targeting techniques including macro demographic and internet-based targeting, as well as micro audience segmentation-based targeting and re targeting techniques. Introduction to the role
Reporting to the Head of Membership and Operations, the Business Development and Partnership Manager will play a crucial role in driving sustainable growth and cultivating strategic partnerships that align with the organisation's core mission and values. This newly created position aims to strengthen our expansion efforts and help us adapt to the changing landscape of care and support for disabled people.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development and Partnership Manager who will lead initiatives to identify, develop, and manage partnerships that can drive significant growth and enhance our market presence. This role will also focus on existing revenue streams and explore new areas for development and growth. The position requires exceptional relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of partnership management. It also requires a strategic approach that blends attention to detail and results-oriented delivery.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, along with a proven track record of successful partnership management and revenue growth. Purpose of role
The role will:
· Formulate and nurture strategic partnerships with corporate partners and non-profit organisations.
· Enhance the visibility and reputation of VODG among key stakeholders.

Specific responsibilities and duties
Business Development Strategy and Implementation
· Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to identify and secure partnership opportunities.
· Identify and explore innovative areas for development and growth.
· Set clear goals and objectives to measure the success of business development efforts. Analyse market trends and the competitive landscape to inform partnership strategies.
Partnership Development and Relationship Management
· Identify and engage potential partners while building and maintaining strong relationships with existing stakeholders.
· Serve as the main point of contact for key partners, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Opportunity Identification and Market Research
· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships that align with organisational goals, including new membership opportunities.
· Conduct market research to recognise trends, opportunities, and challenges in the sector, analysing competitor activities to inform strategies.
· Deliver on existing opportunities and identify new ones, including sponsorship activities for events, projects, programmes, work, events and conferences, and smaller strategic roundtables.
Negotiation and Contract Management
· Lead detailed negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favourable terms for both parties, and oversee contract management to ensure compliance and performance monitoring.
Collaboration and Project Management
· Work closely with internal colleagues to align partnership initiatives with business objectives, managing execution to ensure initiatives align with organisational priorities.
· Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate campaigns and promotional events effectively.
Performance Tracking and Financial Management
· Monitor and analyse partnership performance, using data to refine strategies and maximise impact. Prepare regular updates on business development activities and partnership outcomes.
· Prepare budgets and financial forecasts related to business development activities, monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of initiatives and partnerships.
Networking and Representation
· Represent the organisation at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote business development initiatives and cultivate a strong professional network for future partnerships.
·Engage in community outreach and represent the organisation in public forums to expand its network and promote its mission

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of ‘Digital Product Specialist’ on a permanent, full-time basis, to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.
Job Purpose:
- Manage the digital assets of Islamic Relief UK, particularly the website, ensuring that it operates in an optimal manner.
- Manage the development, evolution and/or integration of digital assets, e.g. digital giving platforms and digital events management systems.
- Ensure all development projects have well considered user interfaces and provide an optimal user experience.
- Provide the Digital Marketing team support with technical SEO, email marketing, and tracking/reporting across key digital marketing platforms.
The successful candidate must have:
- Proven record of excellent people and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills at individual and group levels.
- Experience of managing web development projects
- Experience of working with internal clients and diverse teams
- Experience of delivering with a marketing budget and using resources effectively to successfully balance creative aspirations with limited financial and other resources
- An academic qualification at degree level or equivalent experience/qualification in a digital/developer related field
- A comprehensive knowledge of CMSs, preferably WordPress
- Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL and JavaScript and version controlling with Git
- Experienced in interpreting data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other analytic platforms
- In-depth understanding of UX and UI in the context of web design
- Knowledge and understanding of implementing technical SEO
- Commercially aware, with good understanding of budget management
- Ability to communicate technical information and requirements to non-technical management and internal stakeholders
- Experienced in working from wireframes and written design briefs to build mobile responsive solutions
- An aptitude for managing short-term projects effectively
- An understanding of marketing trends and the charity market
