Senior Marketing Manager for Mighty Hikes

We’re looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management to oversee the development and delivery of our multi-channel marketing campaign, supported by our media agency.

About the role:
This role is responsible for the development and delivery of our multi-channel media campaign in collaboration with our media agency Zenith, the conception of our creative campaign and management of internal stakeholders to maximise promotional opportunities.
A typical week in this role might involve:
- Overseeing the delivery of project plan tasks across different stakeholders, to make sure everyone is meeting set KPIs and working to deadline
- Managing our relationship with the media agency, monitoring channel performance to make optimisations
- Working with creative agencies to brief and produce assets, using audience insights, that will inspire people to sign up for a Mighty Hike
- Managing expenditure budgets to ensure spend is tracking accurately against different media plans and suppliers
- Using data to report on performance and identify opportunities to drive growth and test new activations
- Leading on meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present the Mighty Hikes and inspire high levels of engagement and support
This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. A full UK driver’s license is preferred and a willingness to drive a van is a bonus. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

The Events & Fundraising Manager will work at the heart of our public events programme, helping to organise fundraising walks and other events across London and the South East, and raising funds to support the provision of free legal advice. About the Role

The Individual Giving & Community Fundraising Manager will have an exciting opportunity to grow World Child Cancer’s individual giving. They will also lead on creating a donor experience that will ensure people can engage with us in lots of different ways, from a lottery or regular support, legacies, community fundraising and events (including the London Marathon).
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Managing and growing individual giving.

St Peter’s Walworth is Sir John Soane’s first London church and one of only four Grade 1-listed buildings in Southwark. We have secured a major grant of £438,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) for Development Phase funding for the “Building Beyond: Soane Reimagined” project with a view to work towards a Delivery phase grant of £3.1m. The Development Phase is now underway, with the first major procurements completed, and is set to run for 18 months, at which point a Delivery Round application will be submitted to activate a Delivery Phase. Design development needs to be completed to RIBA Stage 3, planning, Faculty and consents need to be in place and all partnership funding raised or pledged. Our fundraising target is challenging – we will need to secure more than £1m with a focus on trusts and foundations, alongside strategic partnerships. We have already engaged a consultant to develop our Fundraising Strategy and Case for Support, and that consultant will be able to work alongside the Fundraising Manager to get them off to a strong start.
The Church has excellent local networks, an active steering group including external professional expertise, a progressive and outward-facing Rector with a strong social media following, and a strong relationship with potential donors and partners with funds already secured from Southwark Council. The programme
The mandate of the Knowledge, Learning and Communications (KLC) programme is to capture, distil and share knowledge and learning to strengthen Foundation’s impact and effectiveness. The programme brings together a range of functions critical to the Foundation’s identity, coherence and visibility including the facility to learn internally; management of information and infrastructure; leadership of the Foundation’s monitoring and evaluation work; and all aspects of our communications and outreach including reporting.
The role
The Programme Officer (PO) will support the effective delivery of the Foundation’s Knowledge, Learning and Communications (KLC) workplan. Working under the supervision of the KLC Programme Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the Foundation’s websites; planning and creating content for our online channels that communicates meaningful results and tells the Foundation’s story in as engaging way as possible; event coordination, facilitation and promotion; support for media relations; support for annual reporting and results monitoring; and support to Foundation staff in the optimal use of communications tools and IT.

The individual
We seek an individual with demonstrated experience in communications gained within a comparable field, especially of social media and online marketing, along with experience of using website content management systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and have a good understanding of Microsoft tools and webinar/virtual meeting platforms. They will have strong writing skills and experience in storytelling and reporting, along with an ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. They should have an awareness of ensuring brand and style guidelines are reflected across communication activities and be comfortable acting as a first point of contact for media enquiries as well as liaising with colleagues and external suppliers.
