We currently have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused individual to join our team as a Supporter Care Advisor. You will join us working 35 hours per week, on a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based at our National Cat Centre. In return you will receive a salary of up to £26,796 per annum plus excellent benefits.
This role is on a hybrid basis, meaning a mix of working from home and at Cats Protection's National Cat Centre in Chelwood Gate, East Sussex.
Since 1927, Cats Protection has helped thousands of cats each year, across the UK. As a community of volunteers, employees, supporters and partners, we’ve improved the lives of millions of cats and transformed the way millions of people see and care for cats.
The Supporter Services team is part of the Cats Protection Marketing & Income Generation directorate. We answer queries from supporters about memberships, sponsorships, lotteries, raffles and donations. We also record and update the contact preferences of our supporters to ensure we only send communications which are wanted. The Supporter Services team is also responsible for the management of the Gift Aid scheme for Cats Protection, claiming money back from HMRC to provide much needed assistance to the many cats and kittens in need of help. We look to provide the best service possible to our supporters, although we never stop striving to improve this service.
Responsibilities of our Supporter Care Advisor:
As our Supporter Care Advisor you will provide a first-class level of customer care to current and potential supporters to secure financial and non-financial support, nurture relationships and increase levels of engagement, ensuring supporters feel valued and a key part of our work. You will be the first point of contact for fundraising enquiries and direct communication with supporters via a variety of channels (including inbound and outbound telephone calls, letters, email and social media response), helping to build loyal, committed relationships with supporters.

The role
The Customer Support Executive role is responsible for assisting both internal and external stakeholders through out every action taken. This role is required to have in depth knowledge of all FareShare Go, and FareShare Uk’s policies and procedures, our various systems and platforms, excellent communication and analytical skills and a can-do attitude. The Customer Support Executive is the face of FareShare to our partner organisations, answering inbound queries to identify not only the issue but the root cause of the problem, and are responsible for seeing this through until the underlying cause has either been resolved or escalated to a stakeholder to investigate. This role goes beyond looking at these issues on a case-by-case basis, being responsible for highlighting trends across the issues that come across the support teams' desk to identify overarching themes and suggesting improvements to address these. Main areas of responsibility
Resolving support issues
- Working with our charities to maintain seamless high quality support, including solving issues as they arise, and escalating to appropriate stakeholders.
Charity compliance
- Managing all charity compliance workstreams for one of four FSGo Regions through effective reporting, analysis, communication and intervention with charities to achieve agreed KPIs
Effective use of CRM
- Understanding and using a Customer Relationship Management system to support all charities, by maintaining up to date records on all charities and scheduled donations.
Supporting regional teams
- Working closely with our regional field teams to transition charities from initial to ongoing support, supporting their engagement and retention work with collecting charities.
Stakeholder support
- Working with the data support team to identify support trends, by analysing performance, gauging satisfaction and proactively escalating key issues.
- Working closely with our retailer partners and tech supplier to resolve issues and action requests.
Charity Recruitment and lead Generation
- Make charity eligibility assessments and understand their need and capacity for surplus food, in order to maximise the volume of food donated.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our Education Team. As our Director of Service Transformation, you will lead the exciting next phase of transforming our charity’s services to reach more disabled children, young people and their families. What you will be doing as the Director of Service Transformation:

Job Purpose
The post holder will work cross-functionally to provide front-line administrative and transactional systems support to the People team and the Finance team. Support the Assistant Finance Manager in updating the Purchase Ledger:
- Ensure that purchase requisitions are received and processed on the accounting system in a timely manner,

- Demonstrate a track record of developing brand and market positioning, using analytical tools to ensure effective communications, acting as brand gatekeeper, coordinating consistent communication of key messages, and tasks.
- Have experience of overseeing websites, email marketing and social media platforms with experience of managing and maintaining CRM systems (HubSpot), ensuring, and adhering to GDPR requirements and providing regular updates and reporting as required.
- Be able to plan, coordinate and manage an annual programme of events, including the effective delivery of the annual conference, building relations with sponsors to ensure its financial viability.
- Have strong communication and PR skills, with experience of handling public relations and press campaigns.
Experience of Membership organisations, sponsorship and event management are desirable but not essential.

Age UK is currently looking for a Senior Public Affairs Officer to take forward our Public Affairs work, influencing and changing public policy, to improve the lives of older people.
You will design and deliver public affairs strategies which grow Age UK's profile in Westminster and Whitehall and build support for our policy and campaigning priorities. Highly attuned to the political environment, you will identify key political targets, building new and deepening existing relationships.
You will line manage the Public Affairs Officer and oversee public affairs work done by the team's Support Officer.

Additional Information
Must be able to travel easily into central London to attend meetings, sometimes at short notice. Required to be in the London office at least one day a week.
