This is an exciting time to join Family Action to help shape services via a newly created role. The post seeks to find innovative ways of supporting parents/carers and professionals faced with the day-to-day challenges of supporting children and young people with neurodiversity in Sheffield.

Your impact

Your responsibilities will include:  

• Working directly with parents/carers to help shape service - coproduction
• Leading on the recruitment and training of parent/carer volunteers
• Leading the organisation of drop-in sessions for early support
• Leading on marketing and communication through webpage development, marketing materials and social media, ensuring information is coproduced and meets the needs of families/professionals in Sheffield.

Your skills

You will hold a recognised professional qualification (degree or NVQ 4) in social work or social care, health or education. We are particularly interested to hear from applicants who have lived experience of SEND and/or experience of working with families with SEND in an educational environment, local authority, voluntary organisation.

An ability to work collaboratively with families in an inclusive way is essential to this post.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Manager to join our Services and Partnerships Directorate. In this role, you will lead, develop and manage strategic relationships with external organisations and service providers that enhance the delivery, accessibility and impact of our support for people living with and affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

From working with mobility and equipment providers, to energy suppliers, financial assistance organisations and specialist health and care services-these partnerships will help reduce practical barriers and improve quality of life for people facing the challenges of MND.

You'll bring experience, insight, and a collaborative approach to building high-impact, purpose-driven partnerships that result in tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and develop new partnership opportunities that directly support people with MND-e.g. providers of specialist furniture, technology, energy, financial aid, or care services
• Lead on establishing and onboarding partnerships that enable joint working, service coordination, and referral pathways
• Manage partnership contracts and memorandums of understanding
• Monitor, measure, and report on partnership performance and impact

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Haven Hospice as one of our Fundraising Managers, leading our fundraising team to achieve ambitious targets through a diverse portfolio of income streams.

We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can develop and grow our income streams, including running successful events and campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and working closely with our community supporters and organisations.  You will jointly manage our fundraising team and support them to deliver targets, provide excellent stewardship and raise awareness of our work in the local community.

Demonstrable experience of event management and working with budgets and financial targets is essential, as is the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels. About the job

Over the past decade Pembroke House’s activities in Walworth have grown considerably, with annual turnover rising from £200k to £1 million. Further growth is expected as a result of a new strategy anchored around five 10-year commitments to the neighbourhood, consolidation of our activities across two community buildings and continuing to build wide-ranging partnerships in Walworth.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled financial professional who can steward us through this crucial period of development.  You will be someone who combines a passion for our mission, a keen eye for detail and a flair for interpreting financial information and supporting non-specialists to make sound financial decisions. 

Days will be varied spanning everything from helping budget holders report to funders; preparing accurate financial reports and management accounts; to creating the budgets and frameworks for long-term financial planning. The rest of the core finance team comprises a Bookkeeper and a pro bono Payroll Officer based in Pembroke College, Cambridge. Other members of the team manage petty cash, look after the room hire business (including invoicing and credit control) and administer pensions. 

The trustee’s Finance and Risk Subcommittee formed two years ago and a new trustee position of Treasurer is currently being recruited. The Finance Manager will service and attend the subcommittee’s quarterly meetings and be the main contact point with the Treasurer between meetings.

As a new role there will be plenty of opportunity to mould finance operations across the organisation. Finance systems are currently in place, and have satisfied the auditor over the past few years, but there remains scope for improvement, including through automation and upskilling of the wider team.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Foster a culture of financial responsibility, in conjunction with the Leadership Team.
• Draft the audit file and schedules and assist the auditor with follow up questions and queries.
• Lead on the preparation of the charity's annual budget.
• Prepare fundraising budgets, financial claims and invoices for funders in line with (grant) agreements.

Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.

OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the 32 London boroughs.

You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency.

You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers. A special opportunity will be engaging London churches that have partnered with our sister ministry, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for the June 2025 God Loves You Tour London.

You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.

What the job involves

Prostate Cancer UK are launching the most ambitious fundraising appeal in our history, and we’re looking for a brilliant Appeal Manager to help make it happen. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the campaign, working closely with the Head of Appeal to keep everything on track and running smoothly. What the job involves

This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in driving impactful external communication strategies that support High Value, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams. As a key player in the Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team, you’ll enable the integration of high value fundraising activities into wider organisational communications, inspiring action to fund life-saving initiatives that help men navigate prostate cancer.

Supporting the Head of Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand and our senior Business Partner in embedding and developing our business partnering model. A major part of the role will be enabling the integration of High Value Fundraising activity into the wider communications plan to enhance results from our communications.

You’ll work closely with our Philanthropy, Corporate Partnerships and Appeal teams to help plan and deliver inspiring communications that support our fundraising strategy. From pitching proposals and event promotion to major appeal campaigns, you’ll help build strong relationships with major donors and partners. You’ll also make sure high value fundraising activity is joined up with our wider communications and campaigns to grow fundraising revenue, support our community and improve outcomes for all men affected by and at risk of prostate cancer.

Please note this role is known internally as Communications Business Partner (High Value Fundraising).

To make this happen, we're dedicated to being an inclusive, proactive organisation, as we strive to be Allies to Black communities. The charity shall shortly begin the discovery phase of its CRM project, to deliver its future Dynamics 365 CRM.  The new Dynamics 365 CRM will be at the heart of the charity’s success, to deliver excellent supporter data quality for its fundraising and communication campaigns to supporters. 

Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, and collaborating closely with the Head of IT, CRM Project Manager and Data Analyst, the CRM Officer shall be a vital and visible role, fundamental to the charity’s fundraising success, to further its vision of a world where every horse is treated with respect, compassion and understanding.

Through your proven Dynamics 365 CRM skills and experience, you will also lead on the charity’s CRM business processes and data quality, collaborating with fundraising, communications, IT and finance stakeholders, colleagues and third party suppliers.

Location

This position is based remotely.  But you must be a resident of the United Kingdom with all the necessary legislative ‘right to work’ documentation.  You will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

St Catherine’s Church Centre is a vibrant church and community centre situated in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. A Christian Charity, St Catherine's runs a wide range of community services, activities, projects and groups including an Elderly Day Care Centre, a Meals on Wheels Service, Community Café, Emergency Food Store and a range of activities for people affected by mental ill-health.

We are looking for a special person to undertake an exciting new role within our passionate team of people dedicated to transforming the lives of animals in need. 

You will be responsible for the successful expansion of our existing income streams in line with our fundraising strategy and nurturing successful, long-term relationships with our supporters, donors and key stakeholders. 

Key to the success of the role will be the ability to identify development opportunities for our individual giving, legacy giving, grant funding and corporate donor programs as well as opportunities for special appeals to maximise our exposure throughout our whole catchment area. 

The role will work closely with other members of the established team to utilise the potential of our Community Fundraising Volunteers and Content Creator Volunteers identifying opportunities for them to maximise their contribution to the Branch’s activities and ensuring their efforts are recognised appropriately. 

Your existing communication skills will be put to good use acting as an ambassador for the charity, representing us at key events as well as reporting performance to the Board of Trustees. 

This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful operation of the charity into the future and provides a chance to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of animals in need. There is potential to develop the role and shape the future direction of our fundraising activities.

Based at our newly rebuilt animal centre in Chesterfield but with scope also for hybrid working, you will have the opportunity to see our animal rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work in day-to-day action.
