Key responsibilities of our Marketing Coordinator will include:
- Develop and implement an annual marketing strategy for all NGA services including membership and Learning Link, aligning with NGA’s overall strategy
- Inform the development of strategy by conducting market research, including competitor analysis and market scanning, to identify new opportunities for NGA
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote NGA’s membership, training, events, and resources
- Create marketing materials such as emails, social media posts, web content, and print collateral
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Create marketing materials and content, including copywriting to promote and share NGA’s products and services across multiple channels
- Support coordinating social media accounts, creating and scheduling posts to boost engagement
- Work with designers and external agencies to produce branded marketing materials
- Ensure all content aligns with NGA’s brand guidelines and messaging

You will organise events and opportunities for senior individuals within policing to come and see the work we do, visit our academies and meet our participants.
The role will be a mixture of organising events, project management, administration, research and relationship building. You will ensure meetings with our external partners are well prepared for and will undertake various projects and administration tasks to allow us, as a team, to develop positive and lasting partnerships. This is a highly varied role which will give you the opportunity to work across the whole of Police Now. As such we are looking for a quick learner and someone who is as determined as we are to see the Police Now mission succeed.
What you’ll do – the key responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of our partnership events including our Academy Visitor Days, as well as designing and implementing new stakeholder engagement initiatives based on previous stakeholder feedback.
- Support with, and at times lead the production of documents and communications for internal and external audiences, for example event invites, guest lists, handbooks, letter templates and agendas. This will include producing reports which use data to demonstrate the impact of our programmes to forces.
- Support with our sales campaign and contracting work through regular reporting, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to senior leadership and relevant internal stakeholders. This may include identifying opportunities for Police Now colleagues to attend sector events to have the greatest possible impact on policing in England & Wales.
- Collaborate with colleagues from across Police Now to support a strong customer experience for Police Now’s partner forces; for example, attending cross-departmental meetings and through developing Police Now’s use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.
- Provide wider administrative support to the Force Partnerships team. This includes but is not limited to; preparing and printing event documentation, record-keeping, team inbox monitoring, room bookings, research into current and future force partners and booking and taking minutes for both internal and external meetings.
Frequent travel to the London office (2-3 days a week), along with regular travel to events and forces nationally will be required for this role.

The Young People’s Volunteer Coordinator is an exciting new post at Barnsley CVS funded through Great Childhood Ambitions (GCA). The five strategic priorities for GCA are: Belong / Explore / Dream / Grow / Connect.
The under Youth Volunteer Programme will support these priorities by working with young people to:

The Role:
As a member of the Work Experience team, you will play a key role in facilitating meaningful work experience placements for young people in Tower Hamlets. In this role, you'll work closely with local employers in Tower Hamlets and the City of London to support them in delivering engaging placements.
Responsibilities will include actively recruiting and onboarding new employers through phone calls, online meetings and carrying out on-site health and safety checks. In addition, you’ll support the Work Experience Manager in delivering school-based sessions, such as assemblies and Q&A drop-ins, to help prepare young people for their placements. You’ll also assist in coordinating placements at The Switch by creating schedules and supporting young people with their tasks. Job Description: Training and Events Officer
The Training and Events Officer will play a key role developing and delivering high quality professional development, training, events, workshops to SLA members and wider audiences. The postholder will develop inspirational, insightful and innovative routes to supporting SLA members to deliver on their school library provision remit, enabling children and young people to reach their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about school libraries, education and training.
You will work with the CEO, SLA colleagues and key stakeholders to develop and deliver a comprehensive training offer, including leading on logistics planning and delivery of our flagship annual conference. In addition, you will develop and maintain a calendar of exciting events and opportunities to share knowledge and insight, working with colleagues to ensure the offer is timely and informative. A confident facilitator and coordinator, you will be comfortable leading on training delivery, or recruiting and working with external facilitators in order to achieve specific outcomes. Creative, with a flair for spotting opportunities for professional development, you will have a keen eye for detail and an ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines. Resource creation will be second-nature to you and you’ll be comfortable writing for adults and children, and young people.
Duties include:
- Logistics planning and delivery of the flagship event, SLA Annual Conference (currently called the Weekend Course) providing high quality professional development and networking opportunities to members
- With CEO and key stakeholders, supporting the development of a comprehensive, engaging and exciting conference programme and recruit 40 exhibitors, plus event speakers as needed
