The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) is a membership organisation dedicated to supporting our members to improve the standard of medical practice across the fields of radiology and oncology. Members are the lifeblood of the RCR and we’re seeking a Membership Operations Team Leader that will ensure member’s interactions with us are seamless, easy and professional.
As the team lead you play a critical role in supporting the high-performing Operations team through day-to-day supervision to meet service-level agreements and deadlines. You’ll ensure the smooth functioning of our membership processes, act as the first point of contact for queries from the team and provide an excellent service to our members, doing your part to contribute to the overall success of the RCR.

What you’ll do:
- Coordinate and deliver the members’ annual renewal processes and manage communications channels and copy.
- Manage the member life cycle and regularly review operational processes, policies and practices, with oversight from the Membership Operations Manager.
- Supervise the Operations Team in line with goals and objectives agreed by the Operations Manager, providing motivation, coaching and direction on a day-to-day basis.
- Be the point of contact to assist and support members of the Operations Team in relation to member escalations and queries.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to manage and plan current and future workload to ensure the team meets deadlines, provides an exceptional service and reaches service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop comprehensive and presentable reports to support data-led decision making, renewals tracking, KPI targets or to provide insights.
- Management of budget lines assigned to operational activities to ensure favourable terms are achieved.

Duties and key responsibilities:
Content development:
- Work with the Information and Content Manager to research, write, edit and produce new information materials including print publications, web pages, videos, etc.
- Work in line with Sarcoma UK’s information production process, including:

We are looking for social media officer to support the Health Equals team to deliver an exciting programme of campaigning work.
The post holder will play a crucial role in helping Health Equals to build its online presence and following, supporting its objective to raise awareness of how our health is shaped by the building blocks of health. As well as driving engagement to our public campaigns, the successful candidate will lead on creating and curating compelling evidence-based content from Health Equals members.
The social media officer will be adept at finding opportunities to reach broader audiences, to amplify messages, build relationships and engage in debates in innovative ways with opinion formers and influencers online.
The successful candidate will be an integral member of our current team of 11 working across:
- Content creation, scheduling and channel management. This will include creating impactful written social media content, tailored across Health Equals social media channels.
- Monitoring social media, including identifying opportunities to build awareness of Health Equals, our members and our campaigns.
- Track, analyse and report on social media metrics to assess the performance of our content, and use insights to make recommendations for improvement in engagement and reach.
- Work to develop our online community engagement and influencer outreach.
Health Equals is a 5-year multi-million pound campaigning initiative developed as part of the Health Foundation’s aim to improve health and reduce inequalities.
We aim to develop a campaigning movement that calls on the general public, policy makers, sector leaders, and the private sector to recognise the value and benefits of good health for all, and make sure the things we know shape good health are at the heart of policymaking and practice. The British Society for Immunology is an influential and authoritative voice for immunology, a key scientific and health field that plays a central role in many of the most pressing global health challenges we face, including research into the COVID-19 pandemic, developing new treatments and vaccines against disease, and supporting ageing populations to experience healthier lives for longer. This role is split equally between supporting activities of the BSI and those of our publishing portfolio. On the BSI side, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our marketing and communications activity through a variety of channels. Activities can include promoting our membership offering to immunologists working in academia, industry and the clinical sector, promoting key activities such as our events or training offerings, and supporting initiatives to raise the importance and influence of immunology. On publishing, you will be responsible for developing and delivering impactful marketing activities to increase submissions and readership of our official journals, Clinical & Experimental Immunology, Immunotherapy Advances and Discovery Immunology, in particular building the reputation of our newer Open Access journals

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. You will play an integral role in communicating our work as widely as possible and improving and increasing engagement with our supporters, including our members, donors and corporate partners.
The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). They will report to the Director of Development and Head of Communications.
We want someone who can learn and grow in this role so if you don’t have every skill listed but are organised, motivated, and interested in our work then we want to hear from you.
The JUSTICE team currently work in a hybrid manner. Staff members have access to office space in London, however, attendance is currently optional. Our staff enjoy flexible working conditions, 27 days annual leave, plus the week between Christmas and the New Year, 8% employer pension contribution and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
