Job Description
The purpose of this role is to raise LMK’s profile and to engage LMK’s stakeholders in our services, campaigns and fundraising efforts by delivering impactful content across all of our online and offline communication channels in alignment with our vision, mission and strategic objectives. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating quality communications, you will lead our PR and media work, be skilled in creating engaging video content and add your expertise to developing and delivering our social media, website and stakeholder communications.
Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will job-share with our established 2 day-per week Marketing & Communications Manager. As a member of LMK’s core staff team, you will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders (youth workers who deliver our workshops to young people), members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our brand, marketing and social media strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand
- Co-develop LMK’s marketing strategy, leveraging key stakeholder input and action plans to support it
- Co-ownership of the execution of all marketing activities and materials, ensuring they reflect the brand and the values of the charity
- Lead the planning and execution of PR and media campaigns, leveraging media contacts, ensuring LMK has engaging media materials and our spokespeople are fully prepared to maximise media opportunities
- Be a brand guardian, responsible for the consistent use of visual identity, tone and messaging in our external materials, working with our graphic designer to support teams across LMK with branding
Communications, Content Development & Execution
- Co-ownership of the execution of all communications and content development
- Lead on the creation of engaging video content that can be used across communications platforms
- Working with the wider team, produce communications materials for supporters and key stakeholders in conjunction with the fundraising team
- Source and write up regular impact stories from across the organisation that reflect our strategic objectives which can be used in a variety of channels

Digital
- Grow and expand LMK’s social media presence onto new platforms (e.g. TikTok, SnapChat, Bluesky) whilst expanding existing presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Monitor social channels daily, checking for messages/comments
- Co-manage the website as a key marketing channel, creating engaging content, optimising for SEO, overseeing website design updates, coordinating with developers on technical aspects, and analysing website traffic

About the role
The role of the Development Manager: Quality and Improvement will sit within the Partnerships and Federation Development directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change.
The principal responsibility will be to support our ambition to become a best practice national body, responsible for the day-to-day management of the Quality and Improvement function within Emmaus UK and the wider federation.
The Development Manager will act as a‘relationship manager’ with existing, new and potential communities and groups and provide high-quality advice, support and capacity building. This role will develop policy, guidance and toolkits and contribute towards training in their area of specialism.

Working collaboratively within CBM UK and across CBM Global to help develop and to deliver new policy research, drawing on mixed methods and data sources including national and international databases, using qualitative approaches including participatory or citizen generated data, and new empirical work.
3. Supporting Programme staff to improve impact and learning practice in CBM UK funded projects, provide technical support for the implementation of programme related research and data collection, including MEAL.
4. Providing technical research support into the development of proposals for new grant funded projects, and, where successful, support the management of subsequent research projects.
5. Keeping abreast of new research and publications on key themes and priority concerns within the CBM UK Advocacy and Influencing Strategy, taking into consideration sector trends and developments, and ensure this is disseminated to relevant staff within the CBM UK Team.

You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.
This is a community-based position working from home (ideally based in Exeter/Plymouth) but covering the Devon/Cornwall region. The Role:
As Head of Fundraising, you will play a central role in Racing Welfare’s strategic direction and growth. You’ll work closely with the Chief Executive and Chief Operating Officer to craft and execute an ambitious fundraising strategy that delivers innovative income streams to fund our vital services. You’ll lead, inspire, and develop a talented team, empowering them to deliver outstanding fundraising initiatives and events that drive real change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Deliver Fundraising Strategy: Work with senior leadership to shape the charity’s fundraising vision, ensuring the strategy aligns with our wider goals and drives long-term sustainability.
- Innovative Fundraising Campaigns: Create and implement engaging campaigns, managing budgets and evaluating performance to optimise success.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing fundraising team, supporting their professional growth and achieving collective goals.
- Building Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners to build lasting, mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day fundraising operations, ensuring smooth management of income, expenditure, and compliance.
You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in fundraising or commercial management, with a track record of successfully recruiting donors and sponsors.
- A natural leader with exceptional people management skills, able to inspire and empower teams to excel.
- Solid experience in budgeting, financial planning, and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse stakeholders.
- A passion for innovation and the ability to think strategically about fundraising opportunities.
Bonus: Experience in the horseracing industry is desirable, but not essential.

About the role
As Network Coordinator, you will play a key role in strengthening and expanding the Refugee Employment Network (REN). Working closely with the CEO, you will support its growth by improving engagement with network members, ultimately enhancing employment outcomes for refugee talent and strengthening hiring practices across UK businesses.
You will collaborate with network partners, experts by experience, businesses, and refugee support organisations to convene and facilitate meetings, working groups, training, and advisory boards that share best practices, pilot initiatives, and build skills to enhance refugee employment.
Additionally, you will represent REN at events, speaking on the barriers refugees face in accessing work, and contribute to the delivery of impactful projects and programmes.
Purpose of the role

Strengthen the Refugee Employment Network by delivering events and opportunities for members to share knowledge, best practices, and collaborate on initiatives to advance refugee employment.

Support refugees in accessing fulfilling employment that matches their skills, qualifications and experience, and employers to access refugee talent through REN’s Refugee Jobs Board, mentoring programmes and Refugee Job Fairs

Ensure the smooth administration of REN, including project and organisational admin, event planning and coordination, communications with network members, and managing job board listings.
Key responsibilities
1. Member Engagement:

Act as the key point of contact for REN members, providing timely responses and support.

Ensure all member information is captured and kept up to date on our database and website

Organise meetings and networking opportunities to facilitate relationships, share learning, and collaboration on employability skills workshops, job fairs, and mentoring projects.

Provide clear communications to participants, members and partners through emails, website copy and newsletters.
2. Event Coordination:
-
Coordinate a calendar of events, including job fairs, member meet-ups, an annual conference and training sessions, managing project timelines, registration, and evaluation.

Provide logistical and administrative support for events, Job Fairs, workshops, and member activities including bookings, delegate lists, venue coordination and catering.

Attend and facilitate in-person and online events, representing the Refugee Employment Network and welcoming participants and partners.
3. Mentoring Projects:

Coordinate the day to day running of mentoring projects, including reviewing mentee and mentor applications, matching mentors with mentees and being the first point of contact for all mentors and mentees.

Design and deliver mentoring training, guides, and toolkits to ensure impactful mentoring experiences.

Monitor and capture impact through surveys, focus groups, drop- sessions, impact reports and case studies
4. Jobs Board administration:

Regularly upload job opportunities to the Refugee Jobs Board and serve as the first point of contact for employers, recruiters, and job seekers.

Work closely with the CEO on the digital development of the jobs board
5. Administration & Database Management:

Maintain accurate records and manage project data to support programme development, insights and data gathering and sharing.

Provide the day-to-day administration of Refugee Employment Network’s projects, membership, events and jobs board.
6. Communications and Impact:

Create clear and compelling communication through the website, newsletters, and social media platforms.

Create case studies and social media content that shows the impact of our work, raises the profile of the Refugee Employment Network and showcases network members work in advancing refugee employment in the UK

Collect and analyse data to develop impact reports demonstrating the effectiveness of REN’s work.

The Role:
As the Programmes Lead - Sector Improvement, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our sector improvement programmes, providing strategic guidance, and driving change across the HE sector to improve mental health outcomes.
The UMHC framework, launched in 2019, is a set of evidence-informed principles supporting universities to adopt a whole-university approach to mental health and wellbeing. To support its adoption, Student Minds introduced the UMHC Award assessment process and a holistic membership programme (‘Programme’) for universities in 2021.
Through the UMHC Award and Programme, we aim to ensure every university and HE organisation in the UK adopts a strategic, whole-organisation approach to wellbeing and mental health, creating conditions where all students can belong and succeed in the ways that matter to them. This ambitious, impactful programme sits at the heart of the Student Minds strategy.
The Programmes Lead - Sector Improvement will:
- Lead National Programmes: Manage a team delivering the UMHC Programme and Award Assessments, working closely with the Head of Programmes to set strategic direction and ensure successful delivery.
- Recruit and Train Assessors: Lead a team of over 40 Assessors to deliver the UMHC Award Assessment process to approximately 16 universities annually.
- Develop Events and Resources: Plan and deliver conferences, online and in-person events, and resources for our growing membership base (113 universities and counting in 2024/25).
- Build Strategic Relationships: Engage with the HE and mental health sectors to foster partnerships, identify needs, and drive improvement.
- Financial Oversight: Support annual fee reviews and manage a complex programme budget with significant income and expenditure.
- Drive Organisational Thinking: As part of the Leadership Group, contribute to shaping the future of sector improvement opportunities at Student Minds.
