About the role:

At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, the Gray's Inn Road project offers short-stay accommodation for 16 individuals experiencing some of the most challenging periods in their lives. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, this service plays a pivotal role in ensuring rough sleeping in Camden is not only rare but brief and not repeated. Residents typically stay between three to six months, during which time the focus is on creating pathways into safe, sustainable housing and renewed independence.

You’ll be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed, psychologically informed support. You’ll work closely with clients facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and histories with the criminal justice system. With your own caseload, you’ll conduct in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and facilitate interventions that reflect the needs, strengths and aspirations of each person. Every day brings new opportunities to connect people with education, training or employment, to help them rebuild practical life skills, and to foster progress towards long-term goals.

This is a role where no two days are the same, and the impact you’ll make is tangible. From supporting someone through a housing move to witnessing the first steps towards recovery or reconnection. You’ll work alongside a wide range of services including Camden Routes off the Streets, Inroads, Connect Forward and the Adult Pathway, as well as contribute to the operational running of the service and uphold high standards in safety and compliance. About you:

• The ability to assist individuals who face multiple disadvantages to identify their personal goals and guide them through the process of change.
• Managing challenging situations in relation to people, including responding calmly to crisis and deal promptly, effectively and safely to complex situations.
• Knowledge of financial support available to clients to ensure income maximisation, rent payment, and increased financial resilience.
• Understanding of professional boundaries and their importance when delivering trauma informed support. This includes demonstrating a non-judgemental approach to working with multi-disadvantaged / complex needs clients and to promote a strengths-based approach.
• Strong time management skills, ability to work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.
• Willingness and ability to work on a rota system of early and late shifts, which may include some variable hours including some evenings and weekends.

Purpose

To provide administrative and marketing support to the Head of Communications and the Director of Charlie Waller Workplace to facilitate the growth of both the Charlie Waller Trust and the Charlie Waller Workplace offers; charitable and commercial respectively.  

About the role

The majority of this role supports the development and coordination of activities in our paid for service, Charlie Waller Workplace. This service offers strategic consultancy and training to employers, managers and staff on how to embed a whole organisation approach to mental health and wellbeing at work.

We are looking for a highly motivated, confident individual who is able to quickly develop rapport and maintain effective, professional relationships with a varied client base. This role will suit an individual with a keen eye for detail, who has excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to engage with a varied range of stakeholders and to work independently. The successful applicant will be able to effectively balance competing demands, manage a range of diverse activities from administrative support, to coordinating some of our cross-programme projects, to engaging with our external clients and stakeholders.

Whilst experience, or a background, in mental health is not essential, we would expect the successful candidate to demonstrate an interest in this area, particularly in relation to the workplace. There will be opportunities to increase knowledge of this area by shadowing and directly supporting our external training and consultancy activity. This role is situated within the permanent office team at Charlie Waller, and you will work alongside other colleagues who directly support our communications, fundraising and charitable activity. Your key tasks however will be focussed on the needs of Charlie Waller Workplace, supporting the Director and workplace consultants.

As part of this role, you will be expected to update and manage social media and marketing activities for Charlie Waller Workplace. This will require creating content that showcases Charlie Waller Workplace’s services in a way that complements and co-exists with all Charlie Waller social media marketing.

With the support of the Communications team, you will be required to represent and attend events, create visual content (e.g. images, photography and video), draft and send out email marketing, update web pages and write short form content (e.g. social media posts, blogs and emails).

You may occasionally be required to attend off-site meetings; if these are outside office hours, time off in lieu will be given.

Key responsibilities

• Dealing with and responding to incoming phone calls, email and website enquiries or requests.
• Providing the first point of contact for Charlie Waller Workplace customers, helping to identify their needs, advising them of our range of services and ensuring they receive a professional and responsive approach.
• Working with the Director of Charlie Waller Workplace and our team of freelance consultants to produce professional documentation to support the customer relationship.
• Support the team with the day-to-day running of their customer relationships from initial contact through to evaluation and invoicing.
• Support the development of our data collection, analysis and evaluation model and produce regular reports for the Director of Charlie Waller Workplace on all workplace activities.
• Develop and maintain an effective infrastructure for all materials and resources.
• Create a resource library, researching relevant information, sharing with key personnel and updating on regular basis.
• Monitor and report on the Charlie Waller Workplace budget regarding income and expenditure against customer accounts.

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Data Quality Officer within our organisation. This position is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely generation of reports that provide insights into our therapy services' performance and impact. The Data Quality Officer, with support from the Operations Manager, will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organisation's data reporting processes from end to end, including gathering data, analysing trends, and presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner.

Herts Mind Network (HMN) has formed a partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust (HPFT) to deliver a one-to-one outreach service for people who are in hospitals across Hertfordshire.

About the Role:

• To receive referrals from the staff at Lister Hospital.
• To manage and prioritise all administration tasks associated with the service.
• To build strong relationships with staff at Lister Hospital and Mental Health Teams across Hertfordshire.
• To work in partnership with other agencies.
• To establish a strong presence on the ward, working at the hospital when required.
• Ensure a direct community service is in place which encourages, motivates and builds patients self-esteem and confidence. This will include goal setting and support with social and practical skills development.

This role is at the heart of the charity, managing delivery of existing services while developing new and innovative activities to help people with a cancer diagnosis back to independence with a renewed sense of self-esteem. You’ll be a key part of our small but mighty Operations Team.

We need our Programme Manager to:

• manage our existing portfolio of programmes and activities, ensuring that all activities are delivered according to scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality standards
• develop a new Pathway process, offering a confidential conversation with the people we support to explore the health and wellbeing support they require, and encourage them to take part in appropriate activities
• manage our community support sessions across Huntingdonshire and grow additional groups
• supervise and motivate the contractors who act as activity leaders
• engage and motivate the volunteers who support activity leaders
• ensure compliance with all relevant processes, legal requirements and standards
• ensure the charity continues to respond to the needs of the people we support

This role is hybrid. The successful applicant will be required to work at our central Huntingdon location Bradbury House (PE29 1UL) on 2 Fridays each month when we run our community group and hold operational meetings, as well as running groups in St Ives and Sawtry. In time, in St Neots and Ramsey as well. Occasional evening and weekend working in the Huntingdon area is required. 

The time commitment is 20 hours per week.

You must live within easy reach of Huntingdon and be able to drive with your own vehicle.

This role is central to the smooth running of our new regional programme. As Programme Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Programme Manager to support delivery, coordination, communication/engagement and administration.

You’ll be involved in everything from troubleshooting and responding to enquiries from schools, to preparing materials for stakeholders, updating delivery and engagement records on our CRM database, and helping gather data on programme impact. You’ll also support the development of case studies and feedback that help us communicate the difference the programme is making.

To lead the effective and high-quality delivery of peer-led support for individuals on their recovery journey across the Borough of Haringey.
