Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental or physical health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
We are recruiting employment support workers for a new primary care Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment service in the London Borough of Enfield.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental and physical health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental and physical health challenges, either personally or through a close contact.
You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to become comfortable in approaching employers, persuading them to use our service, working with them to recruit our clients to fill vacancies and sustain employment.
No prior experience in IPS is required. The role we are recruiting for is as follows:
Full time: 35 hours per week - these roles will be based onsite in the community 4 days per week and work from home 1 day.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental or physical health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, the DWP and local agencies, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led. You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

About the role
We are seeking a Dual Diagnosis Worker who has a specialism in complex mental health and substance misuse to join our team in Croydon. This is a residential service which provides specialist mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis support to our residents. You will utilise your previous experience and knowledge, and provide specialist support to those who have been diagnosed with mental ill health and have challenges with substance use. You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills.
Within this role, you will act as a specialist for comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of the duties may include:
- Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
- Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
- Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.

- Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning.
About you
We’re looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with previous experience in a similar role. We look at individual characteristics to be able to show resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive in your approach. You will have a passion for supporting people to achieve their personal goals, and achieve positive outcomes, this includes having the ability to engage with people who may be hard to reach and engage with. We further are looking for someone who has:
- An appropriate qualification which is relevant to the role which could include: National Diploma, Bachelors, or master’s in psychology, Dual Diagnosis, Substance Misuse or any relevant
- Previous experience in a similar role, providing holistic assessments and support for people experiencing mental health challenges
- Applied knowledge of the principles of risk assessment and risk management, particularly in relation to harm minimisation.
- A commitment to promoting recovery, harm reduction, and active involvement in care planning.
- Ability to apply relapse prevention models to promote sustained recovery and harm reduction.

The 999 Club
The 999 Club has stood on the corner of Deptford Broadway for more than 30 years, working with and supporting the local community. Our focus now is on people who are street homeless, rough sleeping or unhoused and those who have no recourse to public funds. As the 999 Club, people who use our services are our members.
The Gateway
Our day centre, The Gateway, is open five days a week and provides a welcoming, safe and friendly space where our members can spend time away from their usual situation and sort out practicalities like getting laundry done, taking a shower, charging their phone and having something to eat. It’s where our Intervention Team are often based as part of their work, empowering our members.
The Intervention Team
Working alongside the Essential Services Team and an amazing team of volunteers the Intervention Team provide triage, assessment, holistic progression planning, advocacy and support for members of the Gateway, identifying and addressing their immediate housing situation as well as wider social, health and wellbeing issues with the ultimate aim of them finding a pathway out of homelessness.

We’re looking for people who like people, who care about doing a good job and want to be part of a dynamic team, providing the best service possible. We want team members with common sense, who are assertive, compassionate, have a sense of humour and a no- nonsense, positive attitude looking to make a difference in their community.
We’re looking to recruit two Intervention Workers – one for complex interventions where there are additional factors. This would best suit someone with experience whilst the brief intervention role would suit someone with transferable skills but little to no experience in the homelessness sector.

About the role
At Sessile Court, we provide supported accommodation for adults with enduring mental health needs. We recognise that, like everyone, our customers’ needs fluctuate and, as such, the support we provide is individually tailored in line with customer needs, preferences and aspirations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that each customer has a personalised package of support in place and that risk assessments reflect a positive approach to risk-taking. You will ensure that customers have choice and control over their support and are empowered to live as independently as possible, with the long-term aim being to gradually reduce support in a safe and planned way.
You will report to the Area Manager and will be part of a wider team of experienced Team Managers, who provide peer support to each other. A typical day will involve working in partnership with a range of stakeholders involved in customers’ support, allocating and matching support workers to customers, mentoring and coaching support workers in carrying out needs assessments and reviews, and writing support plans and risk assessments.
This is a full-time position working 35 hours a week on a 9-5 basis with a requirement to participate in on-call duties approximately once every two months.
About you:
- You will have a passion for working closely with individuals experiencing mental ill-health and will have an understanding of the stigmatisation and discrimination often experienced by our customers
- You will have an in-depth understanding of a range of approaches that are effective in achieving high customer involvement
- You will be focussed on customers’ strengths and abilities and will have a demonstrable history of supporting individuals with mental ill-health to live as independently as possible
- You will be efficient, motivated and organised, being able to work to deadlines and meet set objectives
- You will be a skilled people manager and will have experience of leading motivated teams to provide high-quality, individualised support in a supported housing or similar setting
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health and social care setting
- Hold or working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification .

About the role
We're hiring a Support Coach to join our Independent Approved Premises, commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) which works with high risk offenders who have left prison. Penrose Drive is a community setting, rather than custodial where residents can go out in the community if they do not have restrictions on their license. Security is therefore flexible in both design and operation. The team work in a multi disciplinary approach, working alongside probation services, job centres, mental health teams, and other community partners. You will join the team to support in the rehabilitation and reintegration of our residents back into the community. You will engage with them through key working activities to understand their needs and goals, then provide pathways and support to enable them to independence and help reduce reoffending.
The service hold regular activities in service, in a bright and airy environment. The team work closely with one another and support which achieving overall service KPI's, and you will be part of making a greater change. Everyday looks different so this is perfect for someone who wants a role where no two days are the same. We provide fresh hot meals to our residents which can also be enjoyed by staff.
About you
We're looking for someone who has a background in ciminal justice services, and has a real passion for what we do. You will be able to work in a fast paced environment, be proactive, and have resilience to challenges. You will thrive working within the team as well as independently, and be comfortable with working with people who have different offending histories. We're looking for someone who can build trust and rapport with others, and has a positive outlook, which can be used to support others.
- Ability to manage own caseload and determine priorities with time management. Able to use own initiative
- Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours or a good understanding of the sector.
- IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, basic Microsoft experience

Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years.
We are excited to be looking for a Young Adults Peer Support Worker. You will have your own lived experience of mental ill health and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge, to support others.
With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We will be offering holistic and personalised care and support to service users and carers.
This role will carry caseload and deliver a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed. Referrals could be young adults, careleavers, people currently under adult mental health services, or carers supporting people in the community.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery. As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicants will have the skills to provide person-centred support, through one-to-one sessions and through facilitating groups. You will have an awareness of the boundaries we work within when supporting vulnerable adults. You should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and must be able to work on your own initiative.
