Every 6 minutes someone learns that they are losing their sight. Every five hours, a baby is born with sight problems. In these moments, two profound questions emerge:

To achieve this, our mission is to be there for everyone on their lifelong adventure with gardening. In the last decade alone we’ve taken on the largest hands-on project the RHS has ever tackled by opening the new RHS Garden Bridgewater in Salford, Greater Manchester, and invested in the science that underpins all our work by building RHS Hilltop – The Home of Gardening Science, at RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey.
As part of our new strategy, we have six key priorities which include a commitment to deliver science solutions for people, gardens and nature, by rooting science across all our work to meet our social and environmental goals. Another priority is to build horticulture for the future, by strengthening education, growing skills and networks, and championing sustainable practices.
