About the role 

As a Future Frontiers Partnerships Manager, your role is to identify, develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations which work with us to enable our mission. This is key to delivering our work and making a lasting difference for young people from under-resourced backgrounds on their education and career journeys. 

The focus of the role is on building meaningful, long-term relationships with schools and/or businesses, to match young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds with business professionals who can provide insight into the world of work and guidance to help young people unlock their aspirations and develop the plans and skills they need to be successful. 

Our Partnerships Managers each have a focus on a priority audience, either schools or businesses, and on an activity area, either new business development or account management. The role we are currently recruiting for will have a main focus on driving new business from companies. 

Your responsibilities

The focus of each role could expand or change depending on the needs of the organisation. Current priorities and targets are reflected in each individual’s objectives for the year - these are regularly reviewed to ensure that they remain relevant and create ownership and stretch for each individual.

Securing new partnerships

• Identify potential partners for Future Frontiers, focussing on organisations where there is synergy with Future Frontiers and/or where we can address a clear need for them

• Engage with potential partners through the most suitable channel (email, LinkedIn, phone/video call or in person) to understand their priorities and identify how Future Frontiers can meet their needs

• Deliver targeted campaigns and pitches of the most appropriate product(s) / way(s) to engage; handle objections and negotiate terms to help Future Frontiers to achieve income and impact targets and support more young people to achieve their potential 

Maintain relationships; renew and grow partnerships

• Nurture relationships with existing partners, working with colleagues across Future Frontiers to ensure smooth delivery and an exceptional partner experience

• Explore opportunities to grow partnerships through working together in different ways and/or extending involvement to more pupils or colleagues

• Regularly request feedback and respond to suggestions from partners, helping them to feed involved and engaged with Future Frontiers’ work and development

Set up and enable successful partnership working

• Work with key contacts to agree objectives, responsibilities and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of partnership activities and conversation, ensuring that the Salesforce database is kept up to date

• Support partners with messaging and resources for internal and external communications, to enable them to build Future Frontiers into their organisations 

• Coordinate with Future Frontiers colleagues to ensure that activities involving partners are well-run and that everyone is clear on their role in delivering successful interventions for young people

Stakeholder engagement, marketing and communications

• Use templates to create materials and communications to your audiences which align with Future Frontiers’ brand and convery core messaging 

• Ensure that the partners you manage are engaged with relevant stakeholder communications, including events, newsletters and social media

• Proactively identify suitable content (or opportunities to develop content) from your partners to share in Future Frontiers’ marketing and communications, enabling us to build the charity’s brand and engage new audiences 

Wider contribution

• Contribute to department-, directorate- and organisation-wide projects and priorities through membership of project groups or taking on pieces of work in line with your skills, experience and development objectives

• Act as an ambassador for Future Frontiers, our cause and values in all engagements and communications with partners, supporters and suppliers

About you

Experience and knowledge  

• Experience in a fundraising, sales or account management role, ideally working with businesses and/or schools (essential)

Person Specification 

• An active Christian, passionate about personally representing the values and beliefs of Resurgo, and our mission to equip and support young people facing barriers to employment to enter work.
• Outstanding people skills; experience of relationship management within philanthropy, or a business development or client account management role.
• Strong written and verbal communicator including effective influencing and negotiation skills.
• Experience of developing and delivering operational plans to meet targets including running and hosting large and small events.
• Proven success of generating income, meeting targets or securing new business is desirable.
• An interest in research and data on the wider landscape that impacts young people facing barriers to employment.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Develop and manage relationships with Resurgo’s major donors, asking for financial support at the right time.
• Create individual engagement and stewardship plans for existing major donors and new prospects, including in-person meetings, written updates and reports.
• Help to develop the mid-level giving programme by creating a stewardship plan and tailored written communication.

Prospects

• Develop and implement the prospecting strategy, attending networking 
  events, asking for introductions and being confident using LinkedIn to 
  look for new opportunities, identifying, researching and contacting 
  potential supporters.
• Work with the corporate teams to cross-sell opportunities; identify and 
  further engage high level individuals within businesses and vice versa. 

Events

• Assist with the planning and delivery of a variety of fundraising events, 
  working closely with the impact, communications and finance teams to 
  generate strong results.
• Help to develop and deliver new strategic events to further engage 
  major and mid-level donors with Resurgo’s work.

Financial Management

• Help to monitor the major donor pipeline, regularly reporting on income and progress against targets and help with financial management using a CRM (Salesforce).

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, the PTN is recruiting a Partnerships Manager who will provide management and oversight of key partnerships essential to the delivery of the Network’s Strategic Plan, with a specific focus on the development and delivery of Regional Hubs.

You will have experience of establishing and delivering partnerships; dedicated to social justice; a commitment to collaborative working; and proven management experience.

Key Tasks

• To form part of the Core Leadership Team, providing overall strategic leadership across the Network 
• To manage the Partnership team, setting clear goals and objectives linked to the Strategic Plan 
• To lead on the development and support of Regional Hubs, including support with grant funding and income generation
• To act as the primary point of contact with Regional Hubs, for initial enquiries and ongoing relationships, including with staff and trustees
• To provide oversight of the Network’s Parliamentary work in Westminster and across the devolved administrations
• To oversee the Network’s Learning & Evaluation framework, offering insight and advice as appropriate, ensuring that agreed activities are delivered on time and in budget 
• To be the primary point of contact for partners working alongside the Network to deliver change in line with its Strategic Plan
• To recruit external partners to participate in the Mutual Mentoring programme
• To liaise closely with members of the Amplify Team in the development of national partnerships
• To develop and support work with creative partners to highlight the resilience of those struggling to overcome poverty

Heading up Beat’s major donor fundraising, the Philanthropy Manager will drive vital income growth for the charity. They will nurture and uplift existing major donor relationships while identifying and securing the support of new major donors. With 20% of Beat’s income coming from major donors, this role is pivotal in fulfilling our mission to make eating disorders a thing of the past.

We are looking for an ambitious and skilled major donor fundraiser who can drive income growth in this area while insuring that our donors receive the best possible care. Many of our donors have personal experience of an eating disorder or of supporting a loved one with one, and are looking to create something positive out of their suffering by helping others. Do you have the sensitivity and creativity to support them to do so? 

Key responsibilities include:

• Create and deliver against a Major Donor strategy, to drive income growth for Beat.

• Generate new business from high net worth individuals by identifying, researching and developing relationships with suitable prospects, and by responding effectively to inbound leads.

• Hold responsibility for the account management of all Major Donor relationships, working alongside the Beat Executive Team and Trustees to utilise their support when added value can be of benefit. 

• Write creative proposals and inspiring reports, by engaging with Beat delivery teams, M&E and finance colleagues in line with our commitments to Donors.

Over recent years, St Mungo’s has seen significant growth in corporate partnerships. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager this role will be responsible for leading the new business team and adopting a strategic approach to new business across the corporate partnerships and wider fundraising team.

The role of Corporate Partnerships Manager – New Business, offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, with support to develop your skills and make a real impact on the lives of people we exist to support. In this role, you will:

• Lead and oversee new business activity (strategic, COTY, commercial and brand partnerships)
• Develop relationships with prospective partners from proactive outreach
• Develop high quality pitches and proposals to secure partnerships

About you

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience.

• Proven eexperience of securing new multi-year, high value partnerships, as well as brand and commercial partnerships.
• Demonstrable experience of negotiating, influencing and creating partnership agreements.
• Experience of leading, motivating and managing people to achieve team and organisation objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and databases such as Raiser’s Edge.

The Project Manager/Business Analyst role forms part of the PMO Team. The role will include management of priority projects across the Stewardship agile change portfolio, as well as the analysis and improvement of business processes across Stewardship. The role will also work with our Technology team members to improve workflow, through identifying and resolving challenges and dependencies, enabling teams to more effectively deliver organisational priority projects and BAU activities. The successful delivery of projects and improving our business processes, is an essential part of enabling us to achieve our strategic objectives.

The role holder will work cross-functionally across the organisation to ensure we achieve our change targets, through delivering projects on time, to budget and required level of quality, as well as improving business processes across Stewardship Teams. You will be supporting the organisation to develop new agile, collaborative ways of working, and the role holder will need to help others understand the benefits of working within the Agile framework.
