Headway is seeking a new Justice Programme Manager who will expand the current services to have a greater impact on police and probation services, improving knowledge and understanding and the support offenders with brain injuries receive.
We want someone who can both oversee the existing projects, such as our brain injury ID cards, whilst expanding the services in line with our new strategy, due to launch in the summer of 2024.

What will you do:

• Develop and implement a strategy for Headway’s work within the criminal justice system.

World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.

About World Child Cancer

Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.

World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.

Overview of the role

This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.

You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. We are looking for someone experienced in corporate and philanthropy fundraising, who is proactive, confident in engaging with high value funders, able to develop strong internal and external relationships, has strong verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative way of working and experience in developing new business.

Role Purpose

Account Management/ Stewardship

About the opportunity
Corporate partnerships are critical to delivering our mission and ensuring we can support as many children and young people facing disadvantage to open doors to their future. The Philanthropy Team as a whole has a combined target income for the current year (2023-24) of £1.83 million (growing to £2.35m as our target for next year) of which approximately £850k is from corporate donors and their foundations. We have been successful year on year in increasing our fundraising base by building secure multi-year partnerships. Part of our growth strategy is looking at building stronger relationships with corporate partners, having established a strong multi-year relationship for the first time this year worth £500k annually. We have a great ability to measure and quantify its impact, which we are looking to better communicate and leverage with current and potential corporate partners.

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to lead on our corporate partnership activities and initiatives, including growing income from corporate partners as well as increasing the number of corporate volunteer tutor applications we receive from them. Working within our Philanthropy Team, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for the line-management and development of two Corporate Partnership Coordinators, ensuring that, as a team, you meet your corporate income and volunteer application targets. ROLE DETAILS 

Standing Voice is looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager based in or near London to join our UK team. This is an exciting and challenging role in a creative and focused working environment, within an organisation with multiple programmes and funding streams across 3 countries. This position suits an ambitious and experienced fundraiser, equipped with excellent written and oral communication skills and a depth of donor management experience. 

The successful candidate will report to the Executive Director and be tasked with advancing & implementing Standing Voice’s Fundraising Strategy including writing grants proposals; diversifying & scaling-up the organisation’s income streams; and managing donor relations and reporting. As well as working alongside UK fundraising, programmes and finance colleagues, the Fundraising Manager will work directly with our teams in Tanzania and Malawi to design and generate project proposals.

About the role

An ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in corporate fundraising or charity retail, you’ll play a key role in developing Shelter’s retail presence and raising vital funds. You’ll be responsible for enabling stock donations from major retailers, and helping research and develop new relationships with businesses to generate stock and secure their expertise on a pro-bono basis. Thinking strategically, identifying new opportunities, and bringing ideas and concepts to life through written proposals and pitches to businesses in order to generate support for Shelter – all are aspects of a role that will also see you ensure the smooth running of our Stock Generation administration processes and help the Senior New Corporate Partnerships Manager - Retail, with day-to-day activities.

About you

As well as being keen to develop a career in business development and fundraising, you also feel passionately about working with companies to help tackle homelessness. What’s more, you believe you have what it takes to plan and source new stock generation opportunities and develop new acquisition tactics and campaign ideas that will engage retailers. You will have the ability to generate creative and imaginative proposals and take the initiative to develop new relationships with brands and retailers. An understanding of the sustainability agenda for businesses and ability to apply commercial and financial principles to improve business performance would be a definite advantage. Job Title: Head of Employer Partnerships 

Reports to: Deputy CEO (but the role will also work in close collaboration with both the CEO and the Director of Programmes).

Location: Open to national flexibility on location. May occasionally need to attend our London office - Quantum House, 22 – 24 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street, EC4A 3AB.

Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic professional to take the lead role in engaging employers, corporate funders, and professional networks and securing funded partnerships with them. The role of the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships is to work alongside the Director of Operations in developing the day-to-day sustainable income strategy to fund the New Wine Trust's day-to-day operations.

Partnerships

 Role Particulars

Working Pattern: Full time working hours, including weekly in-person team meetings in London: monthly all-staff meetings on Tuesdays twice a month, and weekly on Wednesdays twice a month.  The nature of this role means that some travel and working away from home will be required, as agreed in advance.  Specifically, the Head of Fundraising and Partnerships must be available for the annual leadership conference and some or all of the New Wine annual summer festival (on-site or remote support). 

Places of work: This role is eligible for hybrid and flexible working, with a minimum of 1 day in the London office a week.

Supervision: The post holder will receive regular supervision from their line manager. 

Role review: There is a three-month probationary period for this role.  The post holder will then receive a quarterly rolling review of performance, the role, job description, terms and package.

We are looking for a Projects and Partnerships Manager to join the team in this exciting role, working with a network of youth charities, where no two days are the same.

Position: Projects and Partnerships Manager

Location: London or Bolton/Hybrid (2 days a week in the London or Bolton office)

Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 (dependent upon experience)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

About the Role

The role requires a well-structured and highly organised approach, to ensure delivery and reporting is of the highest quality and a creative and proactive approach, to navigate challenges and hold others to account, when needed. The project management aspect of the role requires someone who is an excellent communicator with responsibility to oversee Service Level Agreements (agreed outputs, outcomes and communications) between the organisation and Youth Zones, and their relationships with funders.. Whilst also taking time to bring Youth Zones together to share learnings and good practice, fostering collaboration across the Network, and support the Fundraising team in their stewardship of long-term donor relationships.

Seeking out new regional and/or national operational partnerships aligned with the Network’s priorities will be a new element within the role, focusing on securing a small number of brilliant, operational partnerships, which add value to core delivery.

There are also occasional Network-wide events for young people, which the Projects and Partnerships Manager takes the lead on, working collaboratively with staff to plan and deliver.
