The Project Officer supports the effective delivery of HACT’s community-focused programmes, with a particular emphasis on operational coordination, partner engagement, and service administration. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the role ensures that project activities—such as voucher distribution, data management, and partner communications—are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with organisational standards.

This role blends project management and client relationship management, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively, with a primary focus on ensuring HACT successfully delivers the objectives for the Fuel Fund programme. The postholder will act as a key point of contact for partners, manage administrative processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

Job Purpose

To coordinate and administer the delivery of HACT’s community support projects, with a focus on the Fuel Fund and related initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate processing of partner requests and maintaining strong relationships with Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and other stakeholders. The Project Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that residents receive support efficiently via our partners, while contributing to the overall success and impact of HACT’s programmes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the general administration of the Fuel Fund
• Be the primary point of contact for all Fuel Fund queries (internal and external)
• Manage Expression of Interest requests from Housing Associations, local authorities and third sector organisations, ensuring they meet the qualifying criteria and terms of the Fund
• Manage voucher requests, ensuring they meet qualifying criteria, and issuing to referral partners across the UK
• Manage, and evolve as needed, quality control processes
• Manage collation of reporting data from Housing Associations and other referral partners
• Analyse multiple data sets and produce reports on the Fuel Fund for HACT and external stakeholders
• Provide updates to key HACT staff about distribution progress
• Feed informal and formal progress updates and reporting information to HACT Communications and Marketing colleagues, working with them to communicate project learning and opportunities
• Work closely with colleagues in the wider Communities team to support housing association engagement with HACT’s work and to support key team-wide activity such as the annual Community Investment conference

Required Skills

Essential

• Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
• Strong relationship management and collaboration skills, with an ability to engage, communicate and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels.
• Experience of managing multi-partner/ stakeholder projects and knowledge of project management tools and methods.
• Excellent data analysis skills.

Job Accountabilities

Complete fuel fund and voucher allocations as per agreed timelines.

Ensure projects operate with a sufficient number of sector partners, for example the number of housing associations referring into the fuel fund.

Monitor and review project reach and impact, using this learning to shape any new methods of delivery, e.g. pilots with other sector partners to reach new audiences.

Collaborate with colleagues to communicate the project opportunities and learning at regular intervals, contributing to the wider thought leadership and collaboration objectives of the Communities team.

Maintain positive relationships with project funder(s), by sharing project data in line with agreements.

Ensure high quality delivery of the project, ensuring robust systems are in place to record activity and monitor compliance with the terms and conditions of the project, improving systems as needed, to support partner engagement and voucher redemption.

Coordinate and lead day to day communications with sector partners participating in the project and ensure feedback is collected and reviewed from project partners and beneficiaries.

The Fuel Fund programme must have dedicated resource at all times during the working week (Monday Friday) and as such, annual leave needs to be coordinated with colleagues in the team to ensure the programme is sufficiently resourced throughout the year.

Role Purpose

The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering a varied programme of impactful events for service users, volunteers, and the wider cardiomyopathy community. These include, but are not limited to, supporting logistics, planning and execution of information days, medical education events, webinars, volunteer development days, and the charity’s annual national conference.

The role covers the full lifecycle of event management, from concept and planning through to delivery and evaluation. This includes oversight of event budgets, supplier and stakeholder management, and ensuring all events are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget. Events will be delivered both in person and online, so confidence in managing virtual and in-person events is essential.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the charity, the Events Coordinator ensures that every event is accessible, engaging, on budget and aligned with Cardiomyopathy UK’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by cardiomyopathy.

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Delivery

• Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to define event objectives, content, themes, budgets, and logistical requirements.

At Friends of PICU, we’re dedicated to supporting the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital Southampton, funding lifesaving equipment, providing family support, and enhancing care for critically ill and injured children. We’re looking for a Community and Events Fundraiser to lead and grow our community and events fundraising activities, inspire supporters, and make a lasting impact for families when they need it most.

The Role

As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you’ll be the driving force behind our community and event fundraising. You’ll build relationships with existing and new supporters, community groups, and corporate partners developing opportunities to raise income and awareness for Friends of PICU.

Working closely with our Operations Manager, you’ll deliver an annual calendar of exciting fundraising events, from local community challenges to large-scale campaigns, ensuring each activity connects people to our mission and delivers excellent supporter experiences.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with hybrid working based partly at our charity office at University Hospital Southampton (2 – 3 days per week) and partly from home. Some evening and weekend work, plus travel across Hampshire and neighbouring counties will be required.

Asylum Aid is seeking a solicitor and IAAS-accredited senior caseworker to join its Public Law team, with experience in immigration legal aid, judicial review, and asylum and human rights law. The role involves managing a complex caseload of asylum, trafficking, human rights, and public law claims, providing high-quality legal advice and representation, and conducting judicial review challenges in the Administrative Court and Upper Tribunal. About the opportunity

As Property and Facilities Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our London office operations, ensuring it's safe, compliant, and a genuinely great place to work. Purpose of the job

We are seeking a skilled engagement officer to deliver an innovative programme of community-led river engagement activities in and surrounding the River Roding as part of a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, ‘The Roding Rises’. This role will engage with groups from the urban and rural reaches of the river Roding catchment to co-design activities that support the delivery of The Roding Rises activity plan and encourage participants along an engagement pathway from awareness to participation and independent action. This role offers the post holder the opportunity to make a difference in diverse areas of London, with varying challenges and a range of ambitions.

The key skill for this role is being able to connect with and bring people together. The project relies on creating strong networks of grassroots organisations, community leaders and representatives from the public and private sectors, including councillors and politicians.

4. In partnership with colleagues, conduct inclusive outreach activities that will engage a wide diversity of people with a range of backgrounds and life experiences, from both rural and urban areas in our core locations.

5. Build a catchment-wide community network, uploading details to Thames21’s CRM system in line with GDPR.

6. Collect and record qualitative and quantitative data on events and activities run, including written and verbal feedback from partners and participants, photos and numbers of attendees, keeping to GDPR requirements. Evaluate this information to develop the methods for engagement and inform future activities.

7. Carry out the administrative duties to run events, including conducting risk assessments and method statements, managing event registrations, liaising with local councils and community groups and maintaining and managing event equipment.  

1. Work with the Thames21 Training Officer to establish a group of volunteers who are trained in Thames21’s modules to maintain and monitor local sites. Includes supporting existing volunteers and assisting with building their capacity so groups become autonomous.
2. Represent Thames21 and The Roding Rises at relevant local forums and proactively recruit volunteers through in-person engagement events.
3. Maintain clear records of progress, ensure all administration and statistical information is kept up to date,
4. Work with Thames21’s Communications Team to promote the project, celebrate its achievements and learnings; ensure key milestones are recognised, funders are acknowledged, and volunteer opportunities are publicised.
5. Attend Thames21 Team Meetings and liaise with other Thames21 staff.

The Campden Charities is a permanently endowed trust assisting individuals on the lowest incomes in the old parish of Kensington.  The area is one of extreme contrasts and includes neighbourhoods with significant levels of deprivation and need. The Charities awards grants totalling more than £2 million each year via programmes focused on helping individuals on very low incomes to move on in their lives be it through education, training or otherwise supporting employment.

We seek applicants who have an understanding of, and empathy towards, supporting unemployed or low-income individuals and families to improve their financial circumstances. Additional information

Hours of work: 37½ hours, Monday to Friday.  The usual working hours for this post are 9.00 am – 5.00 pm. Some start time flexibility could potentially be offered post-induction/training.

Holiday: 28 days per annum + Bank Holidays.

Training: Training and support in post is provided on an on-going basis and training in specific areas will be offered as need and interest arise.
