Brief role description:
The Marketing Manager will lead the delivery of high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that enhance engagement, drive fundraising initiatives, and strengthen support for our mission: to provide life-long, life-changing support, employment and training opportunities to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their families.
As we mark our 140th anniversary, this is a pivotal time for the Marketing Manager to lead a team of four marketing specialists to drive impactful campaigns and amplify the Charity’s presence across multiple platforms. You will work closely with programme managers across the business to identify marketing needs and opportunities, while working with the wider MarComms department to develop and deliver marketing campaigns, advise on the most effective delivery channels, and propose ways of enhancing the Forces Employment Charity presence.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Refuge’s Development Team. The team focuses on working collaboratively with local and national commissioners to secure statutory funding for our national network of domestic abuse and gender-based violence/violence against women and girls (VAWG) support services; this involves competitive commissioning for all our services.
We are seeking a Pipeline and Contract Support Coordinator to support future sustainability, growth and development for Refuge within the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector. You will work as part of a dynamic Development Team, developing and coordinating our pipeline of new opportunities, and provide contract support for the grants and contracts that are held in the Development Team.
The post holder will be influential in securing new services and retaining existing services, which result in positive and lasting change for women and their children. Your role will primarily entail horizon scanning for new opportunities, maintaining a pipeline to monitor all relevant opportunities nationally, tracking commissioning trends, and ensuring that the team have all the relevant information required to assess new opportunities and make recommendations to Refuge’s Senior Leadership Team. Role Overview
