Reporting directly to the Head of Relationships & Operations, this new role will bring together all current HR function, focussing at first on streamlining our processes from recruitment to performance review, as well as ensuring we have all necessary policies and guidance in place. Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Work with the Board and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to assess capacity gaps across the organisation and how best to fill them.
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding and offboarding).
- Provide support, guidance, and advice for managers in conducting and concluding employee relations cases, including absence, performance management, disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring adherence to policy.
- Coordinate and administer company benefits (including health benefit), and research other ways to improve our employee experience.
- Create and manage organisation-wide and individual employee learning programmes.
- Be independent point of contact for entire team for all welfare and professional issues, providing guidance on support available.
- Support Synchronicity Earth’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Working Group.
- Review our staff handbook, and company HR policies and procedures ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect relevant legislation and best practice.
- Be first point of contact with HR & HSE consultants.
- Identify and implement (subject to budget) suitable HR systems that will help to automate Synchronicity Earth’s’ processes and lead to greater self-service of HR matters.
About you
Essential skills and experience
- Level 5 CIPD qualified.
- A proven track record in managing and HR function.
- Experience of developing new policies and procedures for an organisation in line with current best practice.
- Experience of supporting individuals to develop their skill base and careers.

The Role
FareShare has a dynamic fundraising department that has seen incredible growth in support in an incredibly short space of time. We are now looking for a proven Supporter Retention Manager to join us as we embark on our next phase of deepening engagement with current and new supporters.
This newly created role is an integral part of the Fundraising team’s growth plans to become a £40 million income generating team.
Working closely with the Supporter Acquisition Manager, Supporter Experience Manager (Fundraising Operations) and the wider Fundraising team, the post-holder will lead on stewardship campaigns encompassing Warm Appeals, Regular Giving asks, Supporter newsletters and cross-sell campaigns across FareShare’s audiences. Line management of an Individual Giving Officer (or Assistant) may form part of the roles and responsibilities further down the line.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a proven Individual Giving professional to help drive innovation in supporter retention and development and make a decisive contribution to a high-performing team.
Main areas of responsibility
1.Plan and deliver the Warm Appeals programme in line with agreed budget targets and annual workplans
- Campaign manage the Cash Appeals programme at all stages, from initial planning through to supplier management and post-campaign analysis
- Develop and implement a rolling programme of Regular Giving Asks.
2.Develop and manage a seamless supporter journey and consistency of messaging from the initial touchpoint through to longer-term giving
- Work with the Supporter Acquisition Manager and the Supporter Experience Manager on planning, delivering and managing a seamless supporter journey and consistency of messaging from the point of acquisition
- Actively monitor Supporter attrition levels and implement measures to mitigate disengagement
- Hold regular catch-ups with the Supporter Acquisition Manager and the Supporter Experience Manager to optimise collaborative working across both teams
- Keep up to date on the latest trends and techniques in Supporter Stewardship and apply learnings as appropriate on retention initiatives.
3.Maximise opportunities for cross-team campaigns
- Collaborate with the wider fundraising team on new and existing income generation opportunities.
4.General duties
- Provide support to the Individual Giving team where necessary.

About the role
As The National Partnership Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development function for Scotland. You will manage a team of embedded Senior Project Officers working within the partner national organisations and delivering in partnership with a broad range of local stakeholders to develop and deliver local Active Travel Strategies, Visions and Plans.
You will work closely with colleagues to secure funding for our work, capturing and communicating the impacts of better places for people. You will ensure our for everyone values – to strengthen diversity and inclusion across the charity, whilst ensuring that a more systematic approach to the embedding of our ‘for everyone’ principles permeates through our work.
You will advocate for sustainable transport across the region, and you will use that platform to influence local decision makers, through engaging in policy and planning work, leading on communications, and contributing to a coordinated approach to business development opportunities in Scotland.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people across governance tiers within national partner organizations. You will work with internal and external partners to build the team’s knowledge and capacity around inclusive programme design and delivery. This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should be an experienced leader, expert at developing and maintaining relationships at senior levels in a variety of sectors e.g. National organizations, Local Authority, business and industry bodies. You should have line management experience and substantial experience of project management, including budget management.
You must have the ability to communicate authoritatively and persuasively to a range of audiences, with demonstrable experience of remote and face-to-face partnership development techniques.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the Supporter Engagement and Giving team. Over the past two years, Sustrans has been successfully diversifying its supporter engagement and fundraising programme, with innovation at its heart.
As the Supporter Engagement and Giving Manager, you will be responsible for generating and increasing sustainable income, leading donor engagement and acquisition efforts, as well as providing exceptional stewardship to existing individual supporters.
This role will be pivotal in ensuring the continuation of the programme and will play a key part in shaping and scaling our products to maximise our impact.
You will lead the team of officers to deliver the planned programme, foster a culture of continuous learning, and provide opportunities for growth and development. Business Development Manager – Environmental Markets

This role will develop that connection in the fast moving sector of Nature Finance, Business Development and Nature Based Solutions working with others who are creatively and systematically looking for solutions which will connect Surrey’s wildlife at a landscape level.
We are building an innovative new team focused on county wide recovery and green finance investment within the county of Surrey. This role will also manage the Trust’s internal and external processes around Nature (green) Finance and drive forward investment in nature at a landscape level.
As a senior role reporting into the Director of Business Development and Partnerships; practical experience of green finance including biodiversity net gain is essential; experience will also need to include demonstrable examples of project managing medium/large scale projects, contract management, financial analysis and working in a fast paced environment.
Our challenge is to restore Surrey’s nature and maximise climate adaptation and resilience following Lawton’s approach for a bigger, better, more joined up ecological network. We will do this both on our own land holding and by working with other landowners and managers in partnership as we strive towards a target of 30% of land connected and protected for nature by 2030. The Role
As an Office Co-ordinator, you will assist with the smooth running of our Edinburgh office and provide the required support to the Facilities and Operations Team.
Providing a friendly and welcoming environment for staff, you will act as the first point of contact for all Edinburgh based staff, effectively dealing with staff requests relating to their working environment, including health and safety issues.
You will also provide IT support to staff, liaise with our IT provider, carry out staff building induction and training as will be required for new starters, ensuring that procedures are in place for onboarding of new staff.

Established in 1936 and one of Scotland’s leading wildlife bodies, the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with some 3500 members. Fifteen nationwide Branches are led by members who organise events, outings and projects in their areas. Staff contribute a national series of events, conferences and training activities for members of all ages. The Club Manager will lead and oversee all aspects of running the Club, including its small team of staff, volunteers, an annual turnover of about £350,000 and assets which include built property (HQ). They will champion and drive forward the Club’s vision and goals. There will be emphasis on strong leadership to manage and support staff, volunteers and trustees; ensuring the highest standard of services to members; planning and reporting on the annual programme of Club-wide events and developing future priorities.
KEY OBJECTIVES:

- Ensure implementation of all H&S, safeguarding and risk management responsibilities, in line with external and internal policy and Risk Register needs. - Work with the Office Manager to ensure compliance with all necessary measures for the maintenance and management of Waterston House and its users.

Working Arrangements and Travel Requirements
Rainforest Trust UK staff work remotely and you will be expected to work primarily from home with an excellent internet connection. You may be based anywhere in the UK but you will be expected to work from a shared team space in London once a month, and your donor meetings/events are most likely to take place there.
The postholder will be required to host networking events and attend some online meetings with our partners in the U.S so some (early) evening working is required. We are also flexible as to how many hours this postholder works, and will consider a 3-5 day per week arrangement, depending on experience.

You will be responsible for overseeing and optimising B Lab UK’s press office function, including monitoring and responding to reputational risk across the B Corp movement.
Primary responsibilities

Drive the delivery of core components of the communication strategy, specifically owning our corporate communications, press office and acting as the first port of call for media issues management

Developing and owning media strategies to increase the organisation’s influence, build understanding of evolving standards and support our policy and public affairs ambitions.

Lead B Lab UK’s thought leadership agenda to raise the leadership team and organisation’s profile and establish us as a leader in economic systems change

Establish and leverage relationships with key journalists, aligned organisations and B Lab UK partners

Line-manage members of the communications team, including the communications coordinator and leading the communications internship programme

Procure and manage the day to day business of external communications providers (agency/freelance), monitoring and managing budgets, timelines and deliverables

Collaborate with managers across the organisation, leading on cross-organisational projects where necessary

Collaborate with B Lab network counterparts, ensuring UK communications plans align with B Lab Global and other regions

Skills and experience

Experience writing briefs and procuring and managing agencies

People management experience within the communications specialism

A strong news sense and prior experience of delivering media relations campaigns or developing news stories

Excellent written and oral communications skills, enjoying writing opinion pieces and developing thought-leadership alongside senior leaders

Experience contributing to crisis communications processes and responses

A good understanding, interest or experience in the UK public affairs environment

Confident and inclusive team manager, taking a coaching attitude to upskill others

- Demonstrable experience of applying critical decision-making in a variety of situations, and of standing firm in the face of challenge
- Experience of remote team management
- Willingness to travel to South Georgia and Internationally for extended periods
- Good verbal and written communication skills, and competent in the use of MS Office
- Full manual driving licence

Suffolk WildlIfe Trust is the county's nature charity - protecting and restoring Suffolk's wildlife. As Organisation Support Manager you will work directly with the CEO, SLT and Trustees to support the administration and governance of the charity and liaise closely with our Operational Leadership Team (OLT) and other colleagues across the Trust.
