This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to partner with senior leaders across diverse directorates, driving impactful change programmes that support our mission. You'll have expert knowledge of organisational design, restructuring, and employee relations and will be supporting and coaching senior managers through all aspects of the change management cycle.
Working closely with senior leaders, you will bring the ability to influence at senior level and collaborate on business proposals, board papers and consultations, delivering pragmatic, solution focused advice.

About This Job
This is an exciting training role in Army Cadet Headquarters responsible for the governance of risk in the Army Cadets.
In this critical organisational safety role, you will both generate medical risk assessments and assure those generated by others. You will ensure appropriate medical governance and compliance processes are in place, including identifying organisational clinical risks and recommending appropriate policies. You will oversee incident reporting and trend analysis to support continuous improvement. This will include developing systems and reporting frameworks to provide a clear understanding of the organisation’s medical risk profile and supporting the volunteer team delivering advanced skills training to highly qualified first aiders.

About you
Working within the communications and marketing team, you'll be confident in managing our social media accounts (we have many), ensuring we're using platforms to get our messages out to both wide and targeted audiences with engaging and timely content.
You'll be happy using tools for social listening, interacting with our audiences and building our reach. You'll be familiar with key metrics for social engagement and will be reporting back to colleagues and other stakeholders - and using this data to constantly improve our communications.
You'll be skilled in writing longer form content for our members' magazine, Caring, proof reading articles, posting content on our websites, creating graphics and making sure our content is engaging, audience focused and dynamic. Oh, and you probably know your way around an emoji set and are not scared of a well timed pun. Casework is at the heart of everything Medical Justice does. We assist vulnerable people in immigration detention to access medical evidence. The evidence we produce forms the basis of our advocacy work to secure lasting change, including our research into the systemic failures in safeguarding and healthcare provision, the harm caused by these shortcomings, and the harmful effect of immigration detention itself on the health of those who are subjected to it.
As a Caseworker you will have your own caseload and be working directly with people in immigration detention, many of whom may be very unwell, traumatised and experiencing deterioration in their health. You will coordinate with our clinicians and, if clients have legal representation, their lawyers, to organise medical assessments. You will maintain communication with your clients throughout this process, acting as a key point of contact.
We are looking for an experienced caseworker, who can use their compassion and organisational skills to support clients in extremely vulnerable situations. We are looking for someone who has experience dealing with clients in crisis situations, who is resilient and able to manage complex, often traumatic, caseloads in a professional and empathetic way. You will play a key role in striving to ensure clients receive access to adequate healthcare and that they obtain high-quality independent medical evidence to progress their legal cases. Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. East Anglian Air Ambulance is a regional charity that provides life-saving care across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. With two state of the art helicopters and a fleet of rapid response vehicles taking our crew of critical care paramedics and doctors to the scene of the incident, to provide advanced pre-hospital emergency medical care (PHEM).
We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Training and Volunteer Administrator to join our life-saving charity.
About our Community Training Programme:
Since 2018 East Anglian Air Ambulance has been delivering lifesaving Community CPR and Defibrillator training sessions to over 100,000+ children and adults, but we need to train more people to save more lives across East Anglia.
Every year approximately 11,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest in the East of England. Around 70% of those who suffer a cardiac arrest receive any form of bystander CPR before the arrival of the ambulance service, however, less than 20% have a defibrillator deployed before emergency services arrive.
The cardiac arrest survival rate in the UK is only around 9%, but if a defibrillator is used alongside effective CPR within the first 3-5 minutes, the chances of survival can increase between 40% - 70%.
About the role:
As Community Training and Volunteer Administrator, you will provide excellent administrative support to EAAA's Community Training and Volunteering Team, helping to coordinate our flagship Community CPR and Defibrillator Training programme for schools, community groups and organisations across East Anglia.
You will manage a busy training calendar and coordinate Community CPR Training bookings and enquiries, ensuring all participants and supporters receive the highest standards of customer service. You will also oversee the logistics of our training equipment, ensuring resources are available in the right place at the right time to support training delivery.
You will ensure all CPR and AED training sessions are accurately recorded on our volunteer management system and will support and guide new and existing CPR volunteers throughout their recruitment and onboarding journey.
To be successful in this role, you will have strong administrative and IT skills, experience of using CRM systems, and excellent communication skills. You will be confident engaging with a diverse range of people and committed to delivering an outstanding supporter experience.
This is a vital role in ensuring our training participants, volunteers and supporters have a positive experience with EAAA and our community training programmes. Ultimately, your work will contribute to improving outcomes for patients experiencing cardiac arrest across East Anglia and help save more lives.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

Role Purpose
The Senior Individual Giving Officer is a crucial position within EIA’s Fundraising team, which contributes to the delivery of the individual giving strategy through acquiring and stewarding new supporters, leading our face to face fundraising and mass participation event programmes and legacy marketing and stewardship.
