The Early Education and Childcare Coalition unites the voices of parents, children, providers, early years professionals and the wider business community, working together for investment and reform of early education and childcare in England.

About the role

• Hours: 30 hours per week (this can be worked over 4 or 5 days). We will consider other working patterns with a minimum of 3.5 days per week worked over 4.
• Duration: Two-year contract, renewed subject to funding
• Location: Home-working, can be based anywhere in the country
• Salary: c. £53,820 per annum FTE (£43,056 pro-rata for 4 days)

We are a remote team, with most colleagues based outside London. This role will support the whole organisation and requires occasional in-person meetings such as in-person team planning days which you will be expected to travel to.

We work flexibly and understand the realities of balancing work with caring commitments. We trust you to manage your time, but expect most hours to be worked within core office hours. To support effective remote working, all staff work on Thursdays.

This is a senior, cross-cutting leadership role sitting at the heart of the organisation. You will lead on operations, finance, HR and organisational systems, while working closely with the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Board to ensure the Coalition is sustainable, well-run, and set up for growth and impact.

About You

You are an experienced operations leader with a strong track record of building and running effective organisational systems, ideally within a charity, social impact or policy environment.

You are equally comfortable developing strategy and rolling up your sleeves to deliver. You bring strong financial and organisational management skills, and are motivated by enabling high-impact teams to thrive.

You have experience working at senior leadership level and are confident operating across a small, fast-paced organisation where priorities can shift quickly. You are a systems thinker who can spot gaps, create structure, and improve how things work.

Function leadership

The role is a maternity leave cover with an ideal start date in August 2026 and an anticipated end date of

The Unifrog platform

Over the last 12 years, the Unifrog platform has grown enormously from its starting point as a simple tool to help students pick their UK university courses and apprenticeships. It now helps young people from 4 years old up to explore their interests, record the great things they’ve done, compare every post-16 and post-18 course in the UK and every undergraduate programme taught in English in the world, find and organise work experience, and draft their application materials. The platform also helps teachers and career advisers to guide students every step of the way, makes it easy for parents to explore the platform via their own accounts, and helps employer and university recruitment teams to interact directly with students. 

We have a long list of exciting projects for the platform, always aiming to get us closer to achieving our mission. We are looking for someone to join Unifrog’s team to help us continually improve the platform’s existing tools, and to also develop new ones. 

What you’ll do

You’ll work on improving the platform itself, mainly how data feeds into our platform and makes it work behind the scenes, as well as maintaining and improving the processes that drive our development cycles. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Dev cycle administration

  • Owning our dev cycle administration from beginning to end, across Productlane and Linear. This includes:

    • Managing inbound product requests that have been logged on our Productlane account;

    • Updating Linear with developments that we aim to work on, are working on, or have launched;

    • Communicating updates to the team, including writing and sharing changelog posts, and creating clear documentation for changes that have gone live.

  • Testing functionality for upcoming or newly released changes to the platform.

  • Liaising with the team members for whom new developments are most relevant, to ensure that they have fed into plans for upcoming changes, and are happy with changes that have gone live.

• Troubleshooting platform functionality issues
  
  Investigating then answering questions about platform functionality that are raised by our partner-facing teams.

• Point person for two technical integrations
  
  Becoming the point person for questions about the platform’s technical integrations, specifically SSO, and Wonde (MIS integration).

• New data projects
  
  Supporting projects that improve how data feeds into the Unifrog platform, for example, scoping the requirements for changes to our tool that allows teachers to make bulk updates to student information.

You’ll become an expert in:

• How the Unifrog platform works behind the scenes, with a particular focus on how complex datasets feed into the platform and power our tools;

• Technical tools that are vital for school partners (e.g. SSO and Wonde);

• The needs of all our different user types, including students, teachers, school groups, universities, employers, and parents;

• How to navigate the platform as a user of each type;

• Finding opportunities to improve our platform, particularly when data processing is key to success.

• How our development process works, our product tech stack, and what is needed to make sure it runs as efficiently and effectively as possible;

 

You’ll be part of the team that:

• Collates feedback on the platform, deciding which changes to move ahead with, and how;

• Translates user feedback into clear, actionable requirements;

• Investigates potential bugs and comes up with suggested solutions;

• Communicates platform changes to the Unifrog team;

• Answers queries about the platform from colleagues.

 

Working together

You’ll regularly be working with:

• The Platform and Data Manager, who will support you in your development administration and project responsibilities;

• The Data team, of which you will be a part, alongside whom you will work to maximise the impact of your projects;

• Unifrog’s two co-founders, who lead on the development of the Unifrog platform;

• User-facing colleagues, to understand what our users are asking for, as well to let them know what things have changed on the platform.
   

You will be line-managed by the Platform and Data Manager.

We are looking for someone who is:

• An independent worker: You enjoy collaborating with others, but you also thrive taking charge of your own work and projects. You are proactive about getting things done, and update people on what you’re working on rather than needing to be asked for your news.

• A systems thinker: You enjoy finding ways to make processes work better and more efficiently. You would be able to quickly get comfortable using specialist tools like Linear and Productlane, and then use them to keep things organised.

• Great attention to detail: You’re the type of person who notices the small things, and takes pride in being accurate and specific. You are assiduous whether you are double-checking a data upload, or writing a full and precise set of requirements for a development request.

• Diligent: Our platform is complex and has many different sorts of users. You’re the type of person who enjoys getting to the bottom of issues, and meticulously testing things from all angles.

• Analytical and proactive: You’re comfortable looking at data to solve problems, whether that’s figuring out why an integration failed or evaluating which areas of the platform receive the most feedback.

• Straightforward communicator: At Unifrog we try to communicate as clearly and straightforwardly as possible, avoiding jargon as much as we can. You can explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues and turn user feedback into clear requirements for our engineers.

Key details

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

RideWise is an East Midlands based charity helping people and communities travel more actively, sustainably and confidently. Through cycle training, led rides, community projects and practical support, we make cycling, walking and greener transport more accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations and Resource Manager to play a key role in the smooth running of our cycle training and sustainable travel services. This is a hands-on coordination role at the heart of our charity, supporting our freelance instructor team, operational systems, project delivery and client relationships.

You will help make sure instructors have the information, resources and support they need, that records and compliance documents are accurate and up to date, and that our services continue to be delivered safely, professionally and effectively. You will work closely with our Project Managers and wider team, helping to keep communication flowing and knowledge shared across the organisation.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing order to busy environments, is confident juggling priorities, and takes pride in making systems work well. You might come from an operations, administration, project coordination, training, community delivery or service support background. Experience in cycling, active travel, charities or community programmes would be helpful, but your organisation, communication skills and practical approach are most important.

The role is home-based, with very occasional travel to Nottingham (around once a year). Team: Estates and Construction 

Location: Remote with regular travel in London and the South-East

- Manage a designated portfolio of properties, delivering repairs and maintenance as required

Within the region covered, the portfolio includes purpose-built cat adoption and homing centres (both freehold and leasehold), a network of leasehold charity shops, multi-pen sites, and a small number of residential properties. Occasionally, surveying expertise is also required for matters relating to legacy properties. 

What we’re looking for in our Surveyor: 

- Level 6 or higher professional surveying qualification

- Current membership of a professional institution such as RICS, RIBA, CIBSE, CIOB, IWFM 

- Post qualification experience of surveying in a property or facilities management environment 

- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

- Working Knowledge of retail/commercial leases, acquisitions and disposals 

- Multi-site and use property management and compliance experience 

- Experience of working on and managing small building or maintenance projects up to £500k, including financial controls as EA or CA and contractor management

• Identify ways for the AvMA panel application process to become more streamlined, efficient and supportive of lawyers making panel applications. To develop the process to ensure it is fit for purpose, relevant and continues to meet the needs of the public.

• Ensuring the AvMA database of panel membership and special interests is kept up to date. Giving informal advice to solicitors enquiring about panel membership requirements, liaising and meeting with firms as required.

• Travelling and attending key networking events, including AvMA’s three-day (2 overnight stays) annual conference and AvMA annual panel meeting (usually held end Nov, beginning December), engaging with potential AvMA panel applicants, promoting the benefits of accreditation and the junior scheme (Certificates Competence Scheme (CCS)), keeping up to date with medical and legal developments. Speaking at panel meetings and generally to promote the panel.

• Working with the conference department to identify relevant topics for panel meetings and conference events.

• To improve on the current re-accreditation process to make it more streamlined and user friendly for applicants.

• To ensure relevant data from panel applications is captured on the CRM. Regular analysis of panel data, findings shared with AvMA senior leadership team and more widely where appropriate.

• To pursue AvMA’s EDI strategy by considering ways in which the panel can be developed to ensure panel members are as ethnically diverse as possible.

• To liaise with AvMA’s conference department to advise on any training which may be required to strengthen AvMA panel members knowledge and information base.

• To work with the Director Medico Legal services in assessing applications for Certificate of Competence Scheme (CCS) for juniors. To update and work on the Certificates Competence Scheme including organising applicant feedback to ensure this scheme continues to be fit for purpose. To inform and work with panel applicant mentors in strengthening the scheme.

• To deliver on administrative requirements such as quarterly reports for trustees, working with AvMA’s Service Delivery Quality and Outreach Committee (SDQOC) as required to update on continued improvement of AvMA Panel Accreditation Scheme.

• Dealing with queries raised by AvMA Panel applicants and/or juniors who may have had their applications rejected.

• Ensuring AvMA panel template letters and documents are updated

• From time to time speaking publicly about requirements for AvMA panel membership, common pitfalls and how to overcome them as well as other matters relating to panel.

• To consider client complaints about panel members to determine whether the threshold for disciplinary action under AvMA’s Panel procedures is met.

• To manage disciplinary procedure for AvMA Panel members, identify and liaise with adjudicators, prepare documentation, set up the hearing.

• To manage appeals against rejection of an application for accreditation/reaccreditation, liaise with adjudicators.

• To keep on top of any government, regulatory or other policy changes which may affect the way in which patients can access justice, recover damages and seek redress for adverse clinical outcomes, as well as any improvements or impediments to lawyers undertaking this work.

• To develop and grow the AvMA panel accreditation and Certificates Competence scheme membership; to identify cost efficiencies and maximum engagement with AvMA accredited panel solicitors.

2. Skills and Experience

Administration of the AvMA Panel

The bulk of the administration and management tasks do not require specialist skills; however, assistance is provided by the PA to the CEO when required.

AvMA has a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) driven computer system throughout the organisation, the introduction has been phased and the applicant should be confident enough with sufficient IT skills to onboard the new system. The CRM works with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a data driven software solution which is intended to manage, track and store information. AvMA considers IT to be an ongoing commitment and the new panel accreditation manager should be willing to consider ways in which AvMA can maximise the impact of the CRM to improve services and data collection on key issues identified from panel related activities.

Tasks such as updating and preparing new panel application documents and report forms will require medical and legal input, the panel application interview process will involve discussions about topical medico legal issues and for this reason the post would suit someone who has a legal background, ideally qualified as a solicitor or barrister, preferably with clinical negligence accreditation. A a medical background would be helpful.

Assessment of new applications, interviews and dealing with correspondence

The Panel Accreditation Manager is primarily responsible for the assessment of new panel accreditation applications.

The role of Panel Accreditation Manager would suit someone who has practised as a claimant clinical negligence lawyer who is looking to draw on their expertise and experience in a new role.The successful applicant should be confident in assessing former peers and colleagues in a fair and impartial way.

The nature of this work is such that the Panel Accreditation Manager can come into possession of sensitive information, discretion and respecting confidentiality are key qualities for this role. 

Reaccreditations

Reaccreditation assessments are done internally by the Panel Accreditation Manager, occasionally assistance can be provided by members of the internal panel assessment team.

AvMA aims to make reaccreditations more straightforward for practitioners and the new appointee will be expected to liaise with the profession to understand where they consider the biggest hurdles to reaccreditation lie and to consider how these can be overcome without compromising standards. 

AvMA receives a minimum of 15 applications for reaccreditation per annum, however numbers are usually considerably higher, up to 30 per annum.It is thought that the reaccreditation process could be designed to be more streamlined and user friendly for both the applicant and in house.

Other AvMA Panel assessments

In addition to assessing AvMA panel applications and reaccreditations the Panel Accreditation Manager will need to assess applications from accredited panel members who have changed firms.

Change of firm applications tend to be straightforward if the applicant has been on the panel for some time and is going to a firm where there is another AvMA panel member but the process is more in depth for those going to a firm which does not have another AvMA panel member.  The Panel Application Manager needs to be confident that the new firm can meet the minimum standards and supervision requirements required of a first time panel application. 

There are about 5 applications for changes of firm rising to a maximum of 10 per annum. 

Interim Reviews

From time to time first time applicants may demonstrate that they largely meet the core criteria for AvMA Panel membership but there may be some areas that require improvement.In those cases, AvMA can award the applicant AvMA panel status subject to a review sometime later.The Panel Accreditation Manager is responsible for following up that review and examining progress made.The review is an opportunity to identify if the applicant has succeeded in strengthening the areas of weakness identified.If they have not, they risk losing their AvMA panel status entirely. 

There are about 3 interim reviews per annum, currently not exceeding 6.

This new role is a vital one for the Bikeability Trust as we develop and implement our Income Generation Strategy. Artswork is looking for a Data Protection & Impact Manager to lead Artswork’s approach to data so we operate safely and legally, and so that data informs every area of our work, shapes our planning, and enables us to demonstrate the impact of our programmes. This role works closely with the Evaluation & Impact Manager, and focuses specifically on data protection, data analysis and data reporting e.g. to funders. 

We are looking for someone to lead on data analysis and data protection within Artswork, embedding a data-led approach to our work. Working closely with the (part-time) Evaluation & Impact Manager, you will not only provide expertise in data generation across the organisation but also insightful analysis of the data to feed into the organisation’s strategic decision-making. You’ll be skilled in using tools that enable us to aggregate, manipulate and visualise data. You’ll be able to generate reports at different levels, from overviews to granular detail, and you’ll be willing and able to do accurate, capable data entry when needed (for example onto funders’ reporting platforms). You’ll liaise with other teams around their data requirements, particularly the Co-CEOs, Fundraising and Sales & Marketing. You’ll also lead on Data Protection for the organisation, training team members, generating ​‘how to’ guides for colleagues and ensuring that our data protection policies and procedures are updated and compliant with current legislation. 

Main Responsibilities:

Strategy 

• Embed a data-led approach across Artswork, ensuring data is used to inform organisational planning, prioritisation and decision-making.

• Contribute data and insight to funder reporting, including accurate entry onto funders’ platforms and the production of supporting evidence. 
• Generate reports at different levels (headline dashboards through to detailed breakdowns) to support operational planning and strategic decisions.

Data Protection compliance 

• Lead on Data Protection for the organisation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures. 
• Maintain, implement and regularly review data protection policies, procedures and guidance, ensuring they are practical and compliant. 
• Train and onboard staff on data protection requirements, creating accessible ‘how to’ guidance and providing ongoing support to colleagues. 
• Support and advise on appropriate data handling, including lawful bases, consent, retention, deletion and secure storage.
• Work with the Finance & Operations team and external IT provider to review and implement new data security requirements, including mapping software use and implementing new data protection controls.

6. Community Support Resources and User Journey 

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Community Support materials, guidance, and onboarding resources. 

• Support the enhancement of the hosted partner user journey, ensuring all touchpoints are clear, consistent, and aligned with HOST’s values. 

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify gaps and opportunities to strengthen the overall partner experience. 

Reporting cadence: Quarterly reviews with recommendations for improvement. 

7. Growth and Learning Areas (Development Focus) 

• Take ownership of more complex hosted partners with advanced operational or financial requirements. 

• Support the development of new Community Support Leads through training, mentoring, and sharing best practice. 

• Deliver or support hosted partner Health Checks, ensuring all follow-up actions and documentation are completed effectively. 

Reporting cadence: As directed by the Community Support Manager. 

You Bring 

• Experience in operations, client service, or relationship management within HOST. 

• Strong organisational skills with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and care. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging across cultures and time zones. 

• Familiarity with digital tools such as ClickUp, Zendesk, and cloud-based systems. 

• A proactive mindset — curious, calm under pressure, and committed to service excellence. 

Key Relationships 

Internal: Community Support Team, Finance & Operations, Communications, Partnerships, and Capacity Building teams. 
External: Hosted partners, funders, and service providers. 

Performance Indicators 

• 90% of hosted partner queries receive an initial response within 24 hours 

• Maintain a hosted partner satisfaction score of 90% or higher 

• Resolve invoice corrections and payment requests within agreed monthly timeframes 

• Escalate all identified risks within 8 hours of detection 

• Ensure SOPs and system records are reviewed and updated on a monthly basis 

• Demonstrate ongoing improvements in the hosted partner experience and overall journey design 

The Navigators is a Christian discipleshp charity working across the UK. We are seeking an organised and proactive Events Executive to provide maternity cover and lead the delivery of our key external events, including the National Conference and launch of our Alongside course.

The role involves co-ordinating event logistics, managing budgets, working closely with internal teams and helping ensure events are used effectively to engage people with our work and support the growth of a movment of 'Alongsiders'.

We offer a friendly and supportive team to work with, the opportunity to take responsibility for two high profile events based on solid foundations from previous successes and a competitive remuneration package.

We would ideally like to have a candidate working fully or hybrid from the Southampton Office. However we are willing to consider applications from exceptional candidates who would only be able to take the post working fully remotely from within the UK with the ability to travel to events.
