In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of our data maturity roadmap, helping Turn2us grow into a truly data-driven organisation. You’ll also work closely with colleagues in IT, Insight and Impact, and Digital and Design to build a well-managed, joined-up data ecosystem that underpins everything from our day-to-day operations to our long-term strategy.
We’re looking for a values-led leader with strong expertise in data architecture, data management and governance. You’ll have experience leading and implementing data strategies and frameworks, and a passion for using data to create positive social change. Knowledge of financial insecurity and the issues facing people in poverty is useful, but not essential.

Key duties and reponsibilities:
Management Role
· Based on the policies of the charity as defined by the Trustees Board (created Oct 2022 AGM), manage the affairs of the charity with due respect for its heritage, status and independence.
· Within those defined policies, take decisions that allow the development of its business activities, liaising with other Trustees as necessary, and report to the Trustees on a regular basis.
· When necessary, liaise on allocation of duties to other Trustees on a cooperative basis.
· Represent the charity at occasional public events and meetings with collaborative partners and in negotiations, e.g. NICE, ARTP, Sleep Clinics.
· Act as main point of external contact and manage that contact as appropriate.
· Take purchasing decisions within the defined responsibility of the position.
· Modernise and develop the SATA business on as cost efficient basis as possible — goal is generally self-financing.
· Explore business opportunities as appropriate.
· Identify risk, consult with other officers and recommend action for Board decision.
· Finalise move to paperless operation.
Administrative Duties
· Arrange Trustee Board Meetings.
· Manage Membership Database.
· Administer Membership Renewals.

A unique opportunity has arisen to join SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, as the Community Engagement Manager for the South East and London region.
About the role
In this new and pivotal role, you will lead efforts to grow awareness, engagement, and income generation through a vibrant network of volunteer-led branches across London and the South East region. As the primary point of contact and support for these branches, you'll play a vital role in empowering volunteers and fostering a sense of community and belonging throughout the region.
Working closely with the wider regional team, you will help deliver SSAFA’s new community engagement strategy — a central part of an exciting period of transformation and strategic growth for the charity.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South East and London region.

About the team
With the support of the Regional Manager – Casework and Community Engagement, this role plays a key part in establishing, coordinating, and leading a team of Community Engagement Volunteers across the South East and London Region of England.

About you
You will be an exceptional individual to lead this exciting initiative during a critical period of change. The ideal candidate will be a driven and highly motivated professional with a strong track record in fundraising, a solid understanding of fundraising regulations, and proven experience in leading and supporting volunteers in their efforts.
You will have excellent relationship management skills and a deep understanding of volunteer engagement and development. You will be a natural communicator with demonstrated success working with volunteers; experience in volunteer recruitment, induction, and best practice would be a strong advantage.
You will be a confident and credible networker, capable of representing SSAFA to a wide range of external stakeholders, building strong partnerships and enhancing the charity’s profile across London and South East England — all while operating remotely as part of a collaborative and regionally dispersed team.

About the Role
Through line management of your team and in collaboration with partners, you will ensure that the Youth Zone is accessed by all young people who need it the most. You will oversee community engagement outreach as part of the delivery ensuring the organisation continues to have a strong reputation and there remains a good awareness of the offer.
You will also be accountable for ensuring strong evidence of effective performance in line with vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives and that the team are afforded continuing professional development opportunities. About this job
As the HR Officer you’ll be responsible for providing an efficient, friendly and high-quality HR and recruitment service to our amazing internal customers across the organisation.
You’ll also be undertaking general HR support and provide cover for colleagues within the HR Operations team as and when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with our managers regarding recruitment and advertising agencies
- Compiling and issuing application recruitment packs, arranging interviews
- Maintaining our database to monitor vacancies and applications (to be replaced by the new ATS)
- Updating recruitment pages on the MS Society website
- Processing new appointments (including completing all required pre-employment checks) and changes to existing employment contracts using established templates
- Responsible for keeping the HRIS updated and ensure that all employee information is added / updated accurately on a timely basis
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate paper and electronic records including ensuring that records are compliant with relevant legislation and records management policies
- Processing probation and other documentation
- Supporting with pay and benefits administration
- General admin support as required

- Experience working in an administrative capacity within HR

We’re looking for a Senior People Partner to join our busy and supportive People and Culture team. In this role, you’ll work closely with leaders and managers across the charity, offering expert guidance on recruitment, reward, and employee relations—all while championing our commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing.
You’ll oversee our approach to talent attraction, ensuring every stage of the recruitment journey is inclusive, efficient and engaging. From managing senior-level hiring to partnering with executive search firms, you’ll play a central role in bringing great people into the charity. What we want from you
We’re looking for a Senior People Partner who will bring solid experience in HR and recruitment—whether through a CIPD or REC Level 4/5 qualification or equivalent hands-on experience. You’re passionate about people, motivated to make a difference, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
You’ll have in-depth knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice and experienced in building effective relationships with senior leaders, managers and employees, you’ll be skilled at managing complex employee relations cases. You’ll know how to approach people matters with fairness, care, and good judgement and is able to respond constructively to complex situations, supporting fair and balanced outcomes.
You’re someone who builds strong relationships quickly. Whether you’re coaching a manager, advising senior leaders, or supporting a colleague through change, you’re a trusted, approachable presence who communicates clearly and with integrity. Ideally, you’ll also have experience as a line manager.
You’ll have experience supporting recruitment from end to end and analysing recruitment data to spot trends and drive improvements. You’ll also have a good understanding of pay and reward, and how to make sure these approaches are fair, sustainable and aligned with an organisation’s goals.
