Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health charity supporting people with severe mental illness and more common mental health conditions across Islington. About the role
The Executive Director will be a values-driven leader, able to guide Hillside Clubhouse through its next phase of development and ensure that co-production, equity and lived experience remain fully embedded in their work. The new Executive Director will refresh Hillside’s strategy, identifying new opportunities for development whilst ensuring that member voices are at the heart of all major decisions. This role requires a balance of visionary leadership and an agile, diplomatic mindset that remains responsive to the evolving needs of members.
A central priority for the incoming Executive Director will be business development. They will have the ability to secure and diversify income streams, strengthening existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities. Hillside is looking for an innovative leader who can find areas for growth that align with their value-driven approach. A key focus area for the incoming Executive Director will be developing a fundraising strategy that ensures the long-term viability of the organisation.
The Executive Director will be responsible for amplifying Hillside’s presence externally, developing strong relationships in Islington and across London. As an outward-facing leader, the post-holder will have a deep understanding of the health and social care landscape, with the ability to develop Hillside’s relationships with key commissioners, funders and partners. Remaining receptive to
the experiences of members and frontline staff, the Executive Director will channel the voice of Hillside’s community, allowing them to shape the services that are delivered within Hillside and beyond.
Hillside is looking for a visible, approachable Executive Director with a strong presence in the Clubhouse environment, a relational leader who can forge connections with members and the wider team. This newly created role within St Luke's is supported by a generous grant from the Henry Smith Foundation to develop our wellbeing programmes over the next three years. The Associate Director will engage with dioceses and individual clergy as they explore and embed our wellbeing programmes.
The post holder will represent St Luke's and our Christian ethos within senior diocesan teams and help shape and deliver our strategic vision for flourishing clergy. The role is home based with travel around the UK as required. There will be a requirement to be in London at least once a month for team meetings.

Senior Social Worker
Reports to: Service Manager (Social Work)

They are currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to be based in their office in Pontefract to lead the service delivery within the Yorkshire and North East region, managing a team of office based and home-based Social Work Assistants providing advice and support to former Miners and their dependents.
Role Purpose
Responsibility for the professional leadership and management of service delivery within the regional personal welfare team. The role also involves promoting the service locally and developing partnerships with other agencies for the benefit of the client group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the personal welfare team for the Yorkshire and North East region to provide a high quality, professional, outcomes focused service for former Miners and their dependents.
- Ensure the effective management of casework across the team including case allocation and management.
- Manage a small caseload of clients, when necessary, with a variety of needs, by carrying out high quality assessments and providing a range of appropriate interventions in response to assessed needs of the clients e.g. welfare benefits advice, advocacy, emotional support and practical advice.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification and current professional registration.
- Experience of leading / managing a team in a social care setting with the ability to manage and effectively prioritise caseloads, work with integrity and professionalism and work under pressure.
- Experience of community based social care services with experience of delivery with older people and / or disability services.
- Experience of implementing systems and processes and facilitating change.

Location: The role is based at ISUOG House, 122 Freston Road, London, W10 6TR. A hybrid working system is in place and the job holder will be expected to work from ISUOG House for a minimum of 1 day each week. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be part of, and lead, a team preparing and providing meals which comply with the laws of Kashrut and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- To provide regular supervision, leadership and development to the catering team.
- Working in a professional manner whilst developing a strong team ethos, where staff and trainees are motivated to reach their full potential.
- To ensure that food is purchased, stored, prepared and served is safe for
- consumption and in accordance with Kosher preparation and cooking of food in appropriate quantities for the allocated services.
- To maintain all aspects of the kitchen, including stock, cleaning and disposal of waste under the regulations set by the Food Standards Agency.
- To prepare and serve well-balanced, nutritious meals, to accommodate and adhere to special dietary needs, vegetarian options and care plans when creating a diverse menu plan for the allocated services.
- To complete periodic deep cleaning of the kitchen as defined in the cleaning schedule.
- To record, report and action all Health and Safety and Food Standards Agency required checks, including food temperatures, fridge and freezer temperatures,
- opening and closing checks.
- Liaise with care staff, home managers and other health professionals as necessary regarding any specific dietary requirements relating to individual health needs and ensure that foods are prepared with due care and attention, with particular regard to these dietary requirements developing menus around this information and guidance.
- To be aware of and comply with the safe working practices as laid down under the Health & Safety at Work Act and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- To support ad hoc functions or events on or off site and to provide cover where necessary, ensuring continuity of the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. This may include the need to work flexibly or additional hours on occasion.
GENERAL:
- To maintain standard of dress that is appropriate to role and in accordance with the organisation’s dress policy.
- To maintain confidentiality at all times and to ensure respect for, proper observance of and adherence to Norwood's confidentiality policy for all staff.
- To work on a rotating rota with the requirement to work at weekends as required. Hours of work per day can vary according to the needs of the service within the weekly hours contracted.

Keychange is a Christian charity with over 100 years of experience supporting people facing vulnerability. Today, we provide specialist housing for women and young people experiencing homelessness, alongside residential care for older people across the South and Southwest of England.
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our specialist women’s homelessness service, Wayside Community in Reigate. This community is a 19 bed, 24-7 supported housing for women experiencing homelessness. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong frontline experience who is ready to step into management within a highly supportive and mission-driven team.
About the Role
The Deputy Manager plays a key role in the leadership of Wayside Community, supporting the Women’s Homelessness Lead in the day-to-day running and development of the service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Women’s Homelessness Lead in Surrey in ensuring the smooth daily running of the Service at all times and deputising in her absence for all matters relating to the management of the Service.
- Ensure that Wayside Community complies with all statutory regulations relating to supported housing, health and safety, fire precautions etc.
- Working with the Women’s Homelessness Lead to develop performance targets and quality control measures for the benefit of the team, and monitoring team members’ work to ensure that these are met.
- In conjunction with the Women’s Homelessness Lead ensure that effective assessments and action plans are updated for all residents through a key worker system and on case files.
- In conjunction with the Women’s Homelessness Lead ensure that all safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints are managed robustly.

About the role
The Impact and Learning Consultant will play a central role in advancing how the Vitol Foundation understands, measures and deepens its impact. They will build on existing frameworks, tools and processes developed by our Head of Impact, Learning and Strategy who is due to go on maternity leave, as well as bring their own expertise to further strengthen our approach to impact and learning, embedding it into our day-to-day decisions. As our lead expert in this area, the Consultant will ensure that our strategy and grantmaking are guided by emerging data and evidence, and support continuous learning across all our work.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the field of measurement and evaluation, combining strategic leadership experience with strong hands-on technical skills to support Foundation colleagues and nonprofit partners. They will have experience with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods and working in global settings, especially to support local partners operating in low-resource and/or emergency environments. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights tailored to different audiences, including Vitol Foundation colleagues, our board and non-technical external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
Impact measurement and reporting
- Continue rollout of the foundation‑level impact framework across our grant portfolio, making ongoing adjustments and clarifications as it’s being road-tested with a growing number of grantees.
- Design and refine grant‑level impact measures. Develop impact indicators for new grants and review existing ones, working closely with programme managers and partners to ensure alignment with project goals, partner capacity and the foundation‑level impact framework.
- Review and strengthen data quality of incoming partner reports to ensure that progress is meaningfully captured through quantitative and qualitative indicators. Check for clarity, completeness, consistency and data quality, and provide feedback or make revisions as needed.
- Support uptake and adjustments to our impact dashboards in Salesforce to ensure clarity and usefulness for Foundation colleagues. Work with the Operations Manager and external developers to implement changes where needed.
Learning and strategy implementation
- Regularly synthesise and share lessons learned from across our grant portfolio as well as from the wider international development sector. Highlight emerging data, evidence and findings, and their implications for the Foundation’s strategy and grants.
- Conduct rapid evidence reviews to inform sector‑level strategies and individual grants as they are developed or revised. Work closely with programme leads and partners to ensure emerging evidence is reflected in design and implementation, and to identify ways to build credible evidence to strengthen the impact of our grants.
- Serve as a technical expert for externally-led evaluations of our grants, including reviewing research protocols, data collection tools, analysis plans, and consent and safeguarding processes. Note: evaluations will be commissioned by external parties, this role will not manage evaluation contracts or teams.
Internal and external communications
- Draw out insights from impact data, other programme documents and external sources to inform management and board reporting, including regular tracking of portfolio‑level outcomes, key trends and lessons learned.
- Work with the Head of Communications to draft content for internal and external audiences, using relevant data and statistics and creating compelling visualisations that reinforce key messages.
Qualifications
Essential
- Educational background: Advanced degree in a relevant field (for example, public policy, global development, business administration).
- Professional experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in impact measurement, strategic learning, or programme evaluation in philanthropy, non-profits or social impact sectors.
- Analytical rigour and insight: Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex data and strategic insights; proven record of shaping high-level organisational strategies.
- Facilitation and communication: Strong skills in facilitating discussions, presenting insights to senior leadership, and translating complex data into accessible, strategic information.
- Project management and adaptability: Track record of managing complex research and evaluation projects with multiple stakeholders; able to balance strategic oversight with hands-on problem solving.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Familiarity with using Salesforce as a grant management system.
