About the role

You will be at the forefront of establishing a centrally-located PMO to embed project excellence in a mission-driven environment, operating both strategically and hands on across the King’s Fund. Your responsibilities will include developing and embedding project management standards and governance frameworks, establishing a performance framework to understand the impact of our projects, and providing oversight and assurance for key projects and programmes.

You will engage with senior leaders and staff leading and coordinators to embed a culture of effective project delivery, lead change management and continuous improvement efforts, and act as a trusted advisor on project and programme management. Additionally, you may matrix-manage project staff or line manage a small team as the PMO grows, ensuring effective use of project management tools and systems through a cross-organisation community of practice.

About you

As an established PMO Manager, you will bring your experience in setting up PMOs and use your knowledge of a diverse range of project and programme management methodologies. You will be enthusiastic about making a difference, and are able to bring people with you in change. You will be an excellent communicator, with experience of facilitation, and influencing skills, and proven experience in managing change are essential.

The Marketing Co-ordinator will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging marketing activity that promotes the work of the MND Association. Working closely with colleagues across the charity, the Marketing Co-ordinator will help create, deliver and evaluate marketing plans, ensuring that our activities reach and resonate with diverse audiences. This role will suit someone with strong organisational skills, creativity, and experience of working in a busy marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and co-ordinate a wide range of marketing activities, ensuring smooth collaboration between teams.
• Manage schedules, resources and communication channels to facilitate the implementation of marketing plans and initiatives.
• Support and lead the delivery of audience-focused marketing plans from briefing to completion.
• Support the creation and distribution of engaging content, including blogs, videos, infographics and stories.
• Work collaboratively across the Association to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and assess marketing needs
• Recommend effective ways to share marketing content and reach wider audiences.
• Conduct market and audience research, analysing data to inform future activity.
• Work with the Marketing Manager and team to deliver campaigns and strengthen marketing strategy.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all materials and channels.
• Support the planning and delivery of fundraising and awareness campaigns.

About the role

As our Regional Technical Adviser – Climate Resilient WASH, you will ensure the high technical quality of our climate resilient WASH programmes in the region and work closely with Country Programmes, partners and stakeholders to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical guidance, quality assurance and support to country programmes including for climate resilient WASH programming, system strengthening and the sustainability of WASH services.
• Implement capacity building initiatives to enhance competencies of staff, partners and stakeholders to deliver sustainable and climate resilient WASH programming.
• Build and strengthen strategic partnerships, the knowledge base and thought leadership in WASH and climate resilient programming through networking, knowledge sharing and advocacy.
• Support country programmes to integrate and prioritise WASH Climate Resilient measures in key national policies, strategies, and planning frameworks such as NAPs and NDCs.
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Extensive, relevant professional experience at a senior level in climate resilient, WASH-related programmes and policy advocacy for LMIC countries in rural, urban and climate affected contexts.
• Demonstrated experience in strengthening WASH systems and understanding of the WASH sector’s interaction with other systems such as climate change, health, urban planning.
• Excellent and up to date knowledge of technologies, approaches, technical standards and guidelines related to climate resilient and sustainable WASH relevant to South Asia and how to practically apply these to programming.
• Significant experience of working in a technical capacity at senior level in the South Asia region, preferably in at least one of the countries in which WaterAid operates.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally, specifically to country programmes in Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan, and internationally (sometimes at short notice).

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• A chartered membership with a recognised professional association in a relevant technical field.
• Proven experience of stakeholder engagement that include government, private sector, and donors with high level of influencing skills.
• Good understanding and experience in National Adaptation Planning (NAP) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) revision and implementation, climate finance processes, modalities, and sources.

Fight for Peace is a global organisation that uses sport and martial arts combined with education, employability training, and personal development to address violence and support the development of young people in communities affected by crime and social inequality.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and this role is crucial in providing the targeted support they need at a primary level. The Primary Intervention Manager will lead and coordinate the delivery of all primary intervention services within the academy. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, skilled relationship builder, and have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people. The role also carries significant responsibility for safeguarding, acting as a lead in this area. The successful candidate will bring strong safeguarding expertise, with an in-depth knowledge of UK safeguarding legislation, statutory guidance (including Working Together to Safeguard Children and Keeping Children Safe in Education), and best practice in youth work. As a member of the Academy Management team, the postholder will contribute to the academy’s vision as a centre of excellence, actively supporting Fight for Peace policies, practices, and values.

The CSE Team Leader will play a crucial role in supporting the Operations Manager and wider Basis management team to oversee the delivery of 1:1 and group-based support to young people in our service offering high quality, effective safety advice, information and support, enabling young people to navigate exploitative and abusive relationships. The Team Leader will hold a protected caseload to enable them to carry out their other duties.

The Role includes line managing the staff on the Young People’s Team, supporting with reports, recruitment and safeguarding. There will be an expectation to attend Child Focussed and Contextual MACE as an expert panel member and to support the Operations Manager with attendance at Silver MACE meetings. The role will work to ensure young people receive an exceptional service and contribute to the strategic development of Basis.

The Young People’s team work across Leeds and Bradford providing specialist support to young people experiencing CSE.  The team work to Basis’ organisational values, taking a harm reduction approach to enable and empower young people to make positive choices, whilst working to reduce risk.  The team have an established reputation for providing high quality, effective safety advice, information and support, enabling young people to navigate exploitative and abusive relationships.  Services are provided within the community, at venues as young people determine.  

Basis Yorkshire is an award-winning charity that was founded in 1995 and now operates across Yorkshire. This is a unique opportunity to join a challenging and vibrant organisation, working with women and young people who are being sexually exploited or are involved in sex work. 

Job Title: Domestic Abuse Trainer

Location: Homeworking with a requirement to occasionally work at Head Office (Vauxhall, London)

Salary: £30,108 per annum Inclusive of London Weighting, which may not be applicable depending on your home location and any agreed permanent homeworking arrangement.

Contract type: Part Time, Fixed Term (Until May 2026)

Hours: 30 hours per week (across four days - Monday-Friday - days to be discussed)

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Trainer and Assessor on a part time, fixed term contract until May 2026. 

Refuge has recently been granted funding from the Ministry of Justice to develop training for Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs). This role has been created as a fixed term post to support that project. This is a strategic project and the overall aim of the MoJ is to increase access to training for IDVA professionals.

As the Domestic Abuse Trainer, the post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a high quality, accredited training programme, including workshops, assessments, and digital resources for professionals in the domestic abuse sector.

This role will work in partnership with our Service Delivery subject matter experts and our People & Organisational Development team to develop and deliver domestic abuse training for Independent Domestic Violence Advocates and other front-line specialists. You will also be leading on assessments for delegates attending the training which should demonstrate competence through on the job training.

The post holder will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in training delivery or education in the domestic abuse sector. They should also have an understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse and the barriers many women face in seeking support.

The role of the Project Officer – Legal Services (POLS) is to support the PBLS team’s mission to advance the UN SDGs by brokering pro bono legal assistance from legal experts in support of international NGOs globally. The POLS will do this by coordinating the internal processes for project sourcing, scoping and allocating, and utilising legal expertise within these processes and when providing external training and communications.

A key focus of this role is to source and scope out the weekly pro bono projects and forms. The POLS will also engage law firms and other legal stakeholders, conduct due diligence, allocate projects, maintain project records, gather feedback, prepare internal reports and external communications and undertake other administrative tasks as necessary (e.g. updating software and implementing process changes). Other key responsibilities include assisting the PBLM with any bespoke projects, assisting with training events for Development Partners on relevant legal topics, and engaging key Legal or Development Partners on any specific areas of legal interest or need.

The RSPB is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Finance Systems Replacement project, a Board priority and a major digital change project. The Finance Systems Replacement project seeks to replace several systems that are over 20 years old.

This role will ensure that Finance requirements are translated and configured correctly in our new finance system. You will work closely with our Transactional Accounting, Financial Accounting and Finance Business Partner Teams to gather requirements and understand current ways of working. Through Technical Workshops with our new provider, you will assist in translating requirements and documenting our new ways of working. You will assist in capturing requirements for the data migration and ensuring accuracy of the data migrated.

To capture these requirements and work effectively with the Finance and DT Teams regular travel will be required to The Lodge. This will be initially fortnightly on Thursdays but may increase based on workshop deliverables. The role will be mainly home based with regular Teams catch-ups with the wider Project Team.

You will help teams to:

• Demonstration of good knowledge of usability methodology and framework for system development and a good understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Community Alcohol Partnerships (CAP) is looking to engage the services of a results-oriented consultant with great people skills to set up CAP projects in high harm areas.

About Us

CAP sets up and supports local partnerships that aim to reduce alcohol harm in children and young people, improve their health and well-being and enhance their communities. Our mission is to create an alcohol-free childhood for all children and young people.

Role Overview

The successful applicant will have a track record of building effective partnerships, the people and communication skills to involve and engage a wide range of local stakeholders and the leadership and project management skills to support projects through each phase of their lifecycle including baseline evaluation, action plan delivery, post intervention evaluation and maintenance/sustainment. After a short familiarisation period the successful applicant will be expected to oversee fast-track development of new CAPs in priority areas and take responsibility for all aspects of their management with minimal supervision.

A key requisite of the role will be the ability to forge effective public/private sector partnerships between statutory agencies, schools, youth charities and retailers following the CAP model and evaluation framework. The successful applicant may come from a police, public health, education, local authority or other relevant background.

Key Responsibilities

· Proactively identify opportunities for new CAPs and facilitate set up of new CAPs in priority areas.

· Ensure that all new CAP projects carry out appropriate and timely interventions and evaluate all activity in line with the CAP evaluation toolkit – including a baseline and post intervention evaluation.

· Raise the profile of CAPs in the North East of England and ensure that their impact is recognised by key stakeholders.

Specific duties to include the following:

o Represent CAP at all operational meetings.

o Ensure that Retail of Alcohol Standards Group (RASG) member companies play a full delivery role in each CAP where they operate as businesses.

o Liaise as appropriate with strategic leads within local enforcement authorities and other partner organisations to initiate and complete agreed actions.

o Encourage all projects to achieve positive local media coverage including via social media and regional news/broadcast media.

o Ensure that all projects carry out as a minimum a baseline (pre-CAP) evaluation and post intervention evaluation following the CAP evaluation framework and project management survey tools.

o Produce a monthly progress report on all schemes and pipeline activity.

o Attend and participate in regular CAP update meetings on Microsoft teams (x12 pa).

o Assist with event planning and profile-raising opportunities such as MP visits to CAP projects.

Skills, attributes and experience

• Essential to the role will be the ability to persuade key stakeholders at local and national level of the need to address underage drinking problems and to facilitate effective and dynamic local partnerships involving any/all of the following sectors: local authorities, education, child protection, social services, public health, police, retailers and licensing.
• Excellent organisational and sound project management skills.
• Great people skills with the ability to build consensus and motivate partners to play a role in timely delivery of an agreed action plan.
• Act as an ambassador for CAP at meetings and events including parliamentary events.
• Excellent presentation and all-round communication skills.
• Capable administrator with the ability to keep accurate records including data collection around outputs and impact evaluation.

Remuneration: Consultancy fee of £320 per day depending on experience. Work will depend on ability to generate interest in setting up new CAPs but we anticipate as a guideline engaging a minimum of 3 days of consultancy per week. All reasonable and agreed travel expenses will be paid in line with invoice arrangements.

The role

The trusts fundraising officer will report to the trusts dunfraising manager.
