As a Public Fundraising Assistant, you’ll help deliver engaging face-to-face and telephone fundraising campaigns to grow Dogs Trust’s supporter base. Working in our Public Fundraising team, you’ll play a key role in helping us care for thousands of dogs across the UK.
 

What does this role do?
As a Public Fundraising Assistant, you will: 

• respond to public enquiries, complaints, and donation updates related to face-to-face fundraising, ensuring all communications reflect the Dogs Trust brand, tone, and procedures.
• liaise with fundraising agencies to monitor campaign performance, resolve incidents or complaints, and ensure all campaign requirements are met.
• support quality assurance by reviewing mystery shop reports, visiting fundraising sites or agencies, and providing feedback to improve performance.
• assist with administrative and campaign support tasks, including managing fundraising materials, handling database queries, and helping with copy and proofing when required.

This role is being offered as a fixed term, family leave cover contract until December 2026.

About the Role

Smart Works Scotland is undergoing an organisational restructure to ensure our continued sustainability and impact. As part of this process, we are recruiting for key roles that will help shape our future direction and strengthen our delivery.

The Service Delivery and Outreach Manager will have responsibility for the day to day operations of the Edinburgh centre, with prime responsibility for the smooth running of client appointments, and co-ordination of volunteer activities, whilst ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. They would also be responsible for nurturing existing and developing new referral partner relationships.

Finance

• Manage the charity’s day-to-day accounts, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping.

Qualifications

About Our Role

You will contribute to the strategic direction of F6IT ensuring we achieve our vision where disabled children and young adults and with their families and friends can together and inclusively, enjoy a rewarding life which is fun, beneficial and above all fulfilling. 

As the Fundraising Manager you will work to maximise the available funding, income generation and activities for the work of F6IT.

The Opportunity

Good Faith is seeking our first People & Culture Manager – a hands-on, strategic HR generalist who is excited to shape and scale a people-first culture in a growing, purpose-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance

• Act as first point of contact for HR matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practice.

Person Specification

HR Operations & Compliance

• 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a small or purpose-led organisation.

• Demonstrated experience managing sensitive employee relations issues.

• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law, HR policy development, and HR best practice.

• Demonstrable awareness of emerging trends in People and HR, including the opportunities and ethical considerations presented by AI and automation

• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above), or equivalent experience.

The Operations Officer plays a vital role in keeping STOP THE TRAFFIK’s day-to-day operations running efficiently. Working closely with the Finance & HR Manager and Executive Team, this role supports organisational systems, finance processes, and internal communications — helping our global anti-trafficking work stay coordinated, compliant, and effective.

This position suits a highly organised, proactive individual who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and supporting others to perform at their best. You’ll be at the heart of the organisation — connecting teams, managing key administrative systems, and ensuring smooth operations across all areas.

This role will be responsible for:

Team & Office Environment

· Monitor STOP THE TRAFFIK’s phone and general ‘info’ inbox, directing messages to the appropriate team members.

· Support the upkeep of the office environment, ensuring facilities are well maintained and team members take shared ownership of the space.

· Coordinate team days and team-building activities, in collaboration with the Team Building Champion.

· Lead onboarding for new staff alongside line managers to ensure a smooth induction experience.

Executive Support Functions

· Provide administrative support to members of the Executive Team.

· Prepare briefing notes for key meetings with the Senior Leadership Team.

Finance

You’ll oversee our research cycle, from surveys and focus groups to in-depth analytics, ensuring projects run on time, on budget, and deliver impact.

You’ll work closely with our Director of Marketing & Communications, lead two part-time team members, and collaborate across the organisation. Your work will directly shape LUU’s strategy and services, ensuring we’re data-driven and student-focused at every stage.

What You’ll Do

• Lead LUU’s Insight Team and manage research projects from design to delivery.

• Analyse and present findings through dashboards, reports, and visualisations.

• Partner with teams across LUU and the University to influence decision-making.
