Treasures Foundation offers accommodation and outreach to vulnerable women who have backgrounds of addiction, trauma, mental health and the criminal justice system. We provide housing and support until women can make the transition into their own homes, with some long-arm support extending beyond this period.
The Area Manager will work alongside the COO and CEO to help develop and manage the existing service as well as a new detox provision. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Providing guidance to Specialist Support Manager, Project workers and Volunteers to support their professional development, ensuring that the service is run professionally, efficiently and effectively.
· Fostering a holistic approach to supporting staffs needs, through supervision and appraisals.

About the role:
You may be a qualified IDVA or a Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker wanting to work alongside health professionals in a hospital environment, although we will consider applicants from other fields providing you are able to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse.
This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office Victim Support, 3rd Floor, 5-7 Singer Street, London, and in co-location at St Georges Hospital.
As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.
- Be comfortable with running group training sessions and be willing and able to share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital.
Please note that the successful applicant will be required to sign an honorary contract with the Hospital Trust in addition to their contract of employment.
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Experience of direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
- Have strong communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.

Our Bright Futures programme offers mentoring and skills support to young Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller people aged 15–25 years. Through tailored one-to-one work, group activities and practical help, we support young people to build confidence, motivation and pride in their identity, while developing the tools they need to succeed in wider society.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Youth Project Worker to support the delivery of Bright Futures. This is a varied role that combines project coordination, outreach support, administration, and direct engagement with young people.
You’ll help keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes while also building trusted relationships with partner services and young people and families, supporting communications, and contributing to learning and reflection.
What will the role involve?
As a Youth Project Worker, you will:
- Support the day-to-day administration of the mentoring and employability programme, including record-keeping and report preparation
- Help coordinate communications activities such as creating new material, WhatsApp updates, and social media
- Maintain and grow referral networks with employers, training providers, and community organisations

We are recruiting for a Recovery Support Worker role in our Thornbury Road complex needs hostel, where you will be part of a team providing 24 hour support to 16 clients at the start of their journey with us, supporting them towards greater independence. This role involves shift work, including evenings and weekends.
In the role of Recovery Support Worker, you will be working with our clients on their road to recovery, aiding clients to gain the necessary skills to move on from our services and into suitable accommodation. Back Up’s Family Support Service is there to help. We enable a wide range of family members of all ages whose loved one is affected by spinal cord injury (SCI) to improve their wellbeing, build a support network and transform their lives through Back Up’s services.
The Family Support Coordinator will assist in supporting family members on an individual basis as well as in group settings as appropriate, together with providing support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new family support volunteers.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, proactive, and engaging Project Worker to join our Learning Disability Outreach (LDO) team.
You will work directly with adults who have learning disabilities, supporting them to lead more independent, connected, and fulfilling lives. The role involves a mix of 1:1 support, group work, advocacy, casework, and mentoring, as well as helping to deliver a timetable of social activities and workshops.
You will also play a key part in volunteer coordination, helping to ensure a warm and supportive environment for everyone involved.
Empathy, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in people are essential.
What We're Looking For

Experience working with people with learning disabilities or in a similar support or community-based setting
A flexible, team-oriented attitude

This rewarding role sits within the Young Carers Service and the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking assessment with young carers and their families in order to identify their needs and develop a support plan.
You will work directly with young carers aged 5 and up to achieve positive outcomes, identifying and preventing inappropriate caring responsibilities through whole-family assessments and reviews and ensuring that young carers and their families have access to a range of emotional and practical support appropriate to their needs. You’ll also work closely with the Young Carers Team Leader to support the delivery of our young carers activities programme.
We are looking for someone who has a real passion about our mission and with proven ability in communicating sensitively with children, young people and their families. You will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in the use of IT. You will need to be available for occasional evening and weekend work.
You will have experience working with vulnerable children and young people and will have a strong grasp of the realities of being a young carer in an inner city London borough.
