ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to appoint a new SEND Consultant to our central team of subject specialists. We want to hear from experienced teachers who have gained experience in a middle leadership role, and who have a track record of raising achievement within a department. The successful applicant will join an established team of specialists, working to further raise standards and further drive improvement across the Harris Federation. The role of SEND Consultant is an exciting post providing enormous scope for a talented and creative practitioner to work collaboratively across a group of academies.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

The role will be multi-faceted and involve coaching and mentoring, sharing of best practice, developing robust improvement strategies, assisting Harris academies in recruitment and selection, helping to establish new departments or lead rapid recovery where required. Our central team consultants work strategically with Principals, senior leadership teams and support academy departments to improve standards and the outcomes for our students.

As a senior leader, you will have the opportunity to develop and advance your career within a Federation established in developing practitioners and nurturing excellent future leaders. The Federation operates twin Teaching Schools as well as a number of highly successful CPD Networks, and the post holder would have the opportunity to play a key role in this work.

We are looking for an experienced teacher with a deep passion for SEND. Our consultant roles are suitable for those with management experience (ideally but not necessarily at Head of Department level or alternatively be an aspirant Leading Practitioner). The post would suit an ambitious middle leader looking either to broaden their expertise and responsibilities, or who may be considering a future leadership pathway to their first headship. Although based at the Harris Federation offices close to East Croydon Station (with fast access to central London and the M25), the role will mostly be located within the academies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The post work suit an ambitious middle leaders with at least three years' SEND teaching experience and two years in a management role such as SENDCo or Co-SENDCo. A thorough understanding of the needs of students with SEND and Quality First Teaching is essential.

We look for talented individuals who want to be a part of transforming education in London, and helping create exceptional places of learning. The successful applicant will be resilient, creative and a dynamic practitioner, and must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree. You will be fully supported through a comprehensive Induction Programme both within and across the Harris Federation.

Shelter is looking for a new High Value Events Senior Manager within our High Value Partnerships (HVP) team to develop and lead an inspiring events programme to give high value supporters across England and Scotland an outstanding supporter experience and ultimately drive generosity to power Shelter’s fight for home.

About the role

Working across HVP and beyond, you will ensure events are seamlessly designed and delivered, translating organisational plans into imaginative cultivation and stewardship events to inspire donors and strengthen long-term relationships.  You will also ensure that our events are continuously evaluated and improved, to help support ambitious growth targets.

The role feeds into our Major Donor and Corporate income streams. Philanthropy & Partnerships is a real area of expertise for Noah’s Ark, with much scope for further growth.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will work in close collaboration with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and build a cohesive way of working to ensure that we are maximising impact for the charity and its beneficiaries.

Purpose - The Corporate Partnerships Manager works with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, steward existing relationships, and develop a healthy corporate prospects pipeline in order to achieve agreed income targets.  The role is also key in delivering our special events and campaigns in collaboration with our Special Events Manager. This includes our annual matched-funding campaign, The Winter Ball and the Noah’s Ark Golf Day – which most recently raised £1m, £400,000 and £104,000 respectively.

What is the overall purpose of the role?

We are looking to appoint a Support Youth Worker to help develop and deliver an innovative and progressive youth programme for our Girls Project, in a safe industrious and supportive environment working primarily with young girls from diverse communities.

• Record all attendances (registers) for all sessions and populate data required for reporting purposes in a timely manner.
• Coordinate, deliver, host or co-host and oversee the delivery of Girls Project sessions (one-to-ones or groups), trips and residential, that take place on-site and off-site, face to face or online.
• Liaise and supervise with facilitators or external providers directly concerning the delivery of the Girls Project i.e including agreements, risk assessments, SLA’s and Code of Conduct.
• Ensure that children and young people are involved in contributing to the development of the Girls Project via consultations and evaluations.
• Recruit young people through networking and promoting to external organisations and agencies, and beyond.

You will manage various inboxes, meeting the needs of our supporters and ensuring that where necessary, they will be escalated or signposted to the right place.

A typical day (although there rarely is one!) could include fulfilling Gifts in Wills packs from the office, feeding back on a supporter journey email, chasing a Christmas cards order with a supplier, reviewing Individual Giving data for a mailing or chatting to a supporter about how to maximise funds raised at a plant sale.

The role is a brilliant entry level role in the charity sector, giving you a chance to learn about many different types of income generation and engagement.

About the role

About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Partnerships & Impact Funding, the role of Partnerships and Business Development Lead is responsible for strategic leadership in developing and nurturing institutional funding partnerships (Government, Multi-lateral, Trusts & Foundations,
