Job Purpose 

Sitting within BSR’s exciting External Affairs & Audit team the Clinical Audit Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the on-going work of the National Early Inflammatory Arthritis Audit (NEIAA) to gather evidence and drive up the quality of care for patients living with inflammatory arthritis. With touch points across the Rheumatology community, the NHS and health regulators, the NEIAA project is an essential tool in achieving this part of our five-year strategy. At a busy and important time for the NEIAA project this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their organisational, project management and stakeholder relation skills as we work towards producing our 6th ‘State of the Nation’ report and securing an extension of the Audit contract. 

Main responsibilities

• To provide administrative support to the NEIAA project manager such as setting up business processes, engaging with stakeholders and managing the audit mailbox as the first point of contact.
• Liaise with the governance groups for the audit project and assist with the coordination of NEIAA meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and undertaking follow-up actions.
• To assist in the development of communications around the NEIAA project including with the Annual Report.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to encourage participation with the audit from Trusts and Health Boards.
• To support the project manager in the planning and smooth running of the NEIAA project plan.
• To maintain high standards of confidentiality and information governance across all aspects of data collection and storage.

The community engagement coordinator will work as part of a team of new community engagement service working across East, West and South London. The key aims of this new service are to build relationships with specialist providers across south, west, and east London, where our services are clustered, to develop a menu of enhanced support opportunities to meet survivors’ social, health and financial needs.

The Peer Support Coordinator will play a critical role in the delivery of Day One's Peer Support Service. The primary objectives are to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to our beneficiaries; to develop our regional peer support model; and to facilitate a positive volunteering experience for our lived experience volunteer team. Responsibilities will include the day-to-day coordination of peer support activity. This will involve sensitive communication with trauma-affected individuals to understand their needs and preferences, using this information to facilitate suitable peer support matches.

The postholder will contribute to building a diverse volunteer team by supporting the volunteer recruitment and induction processes. They will offer ongoing support, guidance and motivation to our volunteers, ensuring meaningful opportunities to engage with Day One. The postholder will support the Peer Support Manger to conduct regular reviews with volunteers to gather feedback on their experiences as well as supporting their personal and professional development.

The Peer Support Co-ordinator will monitor service delivery and volunteer activity to ensure it is operating within agreed policies and processes. To ensure we can evidence the success and quality of the service, a key aspect of the role will involve keeping accurate records of interventions as well as collecting regular evaluation/impact data and personal case studies.

You will be a compassionate individual, dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of support for our beneficiaries and volunteers alike. The successful candidate will be based  in our offices in Lambeth.  Much of the work will involve outreach and delivery in Early Years settings, child development centres and nurseries throughout Lambeth. The role will involve working closely with the Lambeth Early Years Specialists Health Visitors and Paediatricians.  The role will involve planning and organising workshops and information sessions, drop-in sessions and ongoing family case work.  

You will provide an advice, information and guidance service to parents of very young children aged 0-2years,

You will assess families' needs and plan actions with parents' participation as per their needs. You will encourage parent carers' empowerment and involvement.

 What we are looking for:

• Experience of working with and supporting families who have disabled children, and in particular, working with families who have disabled children aged 0-2 years
• Good communication responsive to the needs of families of very young children who may be facing uncertainty and challenges at the beginning of understanding their child’s additional needs
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Knowledge and experience of the issues and concerns that affect families who have disabled children e.g. leisure provision, education, respite care.
• Knowledge of issues relating to maximising income, tackling debt and budgeting, accessing financial support, tax credits and other financial issues.
• Good communication, time management and networking skills.

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is the home of the Chelsea Pensioners. It has a rich history and provides supported accommodation, residential and nursing care for some 300 retired soldiers. An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Royal Hospital Chelsea where we are seeking an exceptional individual to join the Chelsea Pensioners Veterans’ Outreach  (CPVO ) team in a new role as a Veterans’ Outreach Officer. 

 The CPVO programme is aimed at extending an offer to older service veterans, inviting them to engage with our In Pensioners and enjoy the sense of community and comradeship that is at the heart of the Chelsea Pensioner community. While most of our programme activity is centred on the Royal Hospital Chelsea estate in London, the programme seeks to expand in reach to other UK regions where there is a sizeable veteran population who might benefit from engagement with our team of Chelsea Pensioners, staff and volunteers. There are also plans to develop a digital offer.

 The Veterans’ Outreach Officer will support  the Head of Veterans’ Outreach in developing and managing the programme of activities encouraging engagement and social interaction between Chelsea Pensioners and other service veterans thereby helping to alleviate the social isolation and loneliness felt by many older veterans. Responsibilities will include promoting the programme within veterans' networks and finding innovative ways to connect with veterans; the management of themed events both at the Royal Hospital Chelsea and further afield as we seek to expand nationwide. The role also involves significant data collection and analysis to inform the strategy, evaluate delivery, and identify fundraising opportunities.

• be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of all challenge events within your portfolio – delivering marketing plans that drive participant numbers, and stewardship journeys that provide excellent supporter experiences and maximise income.
• Keep abreast of developments in the challenge events market, spotting opportunities and making recommendations on how to grow and diversify the programme.

In order to be successful, you must have experienced :

Experience of challenge events fundraising

Experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns

Experience of using a relationship database to support, inform and report on fundraising activity

Excellent communication skills - in writing, face-to-face and over the phone

Salary: £30,000 - £33,500 per annum
