Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, the PTN is recruiting a Partnerships Manager who will provide management and oversight of key partnerships essential to the delivery of the Network’s Strategic Plan, with a specific focus on the development and delivery of Regional Hubs.
You will have experience of establishing and delivering partnerships; dedicated to social justice; a commitment to collaborative working; and proven management experience.
Key Tasks
- To form part of the Core Leadership Team, providing overall strategic leadership across the Network
- To manage the Partnership team, setting clear goals and objectives linked to the Strategic Plan
- To lead on the development and support of Regional Hubs, including support with grant funding and income generation
- To act as the primary point of contact with Regional Hubs, for initial enquiries and ongoing relationships, including with staff and trustees
- To provide oversight of the Network’s Parliamentary work in Westminster and across the devolved administrations
- To oversee the Network’s Learning & Evaluation framework, offering insight and advice as appropriate, ensuring that agreed activities are delivered on time and in budget
- To be the primary point of contact for partners working alongside the Network to deliver change in line with its Strategic Plan
- To recruit external partners to participate in the Mutual Mentoring programme
- To liaise closely with members of the Amplify Team in the development of national partnerships
- To develop and support work with creative partners to highlight the resilience of those struggling to overcome poverty
- To deputise for the Director as and when required

What you’ll do
As one of our first Primary Schools Partnership Managers, you’ll play a key role growing our newest partner base and supporting primary school partners to make the most of the Unifrog platform and resources. Excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do, and you’ll make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are positive and successful.
Your key responsibilities:
Sell Unifrog subscriptions to primary schools

Design and deliver impactful prospecting campaigns and marketing collateral aimed at engaging potential new partners, tracking campaign performance and continually improving your approach to secure demonstrations and drive partnership growth.

Meet with potential partners on video calls (and sometimes in-person). Understand their priorities, demonstrate the Unifrog platform and resources, and secure their subscription.

Identify and attend conferences and events to promote Unifrog to primary school audiences, while networking and cultivating relationships for future partnership opportunities.

Develop a sound awareness of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) and the PSHE Association Framework within the UK. You’ll need this to confidently navigate conversations with relevant contacts at primary schools.
Support primary school partners to make the most of Unifrog

Set up new partner schools for success. Help them to embed Unifrog across their staff, student and parent community. You’ll deliver an initial staff training session then provide ad-hoc support.

Proactively work to foster a sense of community amongst our primary school partners and think of ways to promote the sharing and embedding of Unifrog best practice across between partners.

Achieve sky-high resubscription rates by securing partner renewals when their subscriptions come to an end.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the senior leadership team at a time of growth, ambition and innovation. Key responsibilities
Strategic partnerships development
You will lead the identification, development, and stewardship of national strategic partnerships that align with UKCF’s mission and deliver meaningful outcomes for our partners and for communities across the UK.
This includes initiating and negotiating collaborations with government departments, large foundations, businesses, and sector partners. Working closely with community foundations across the country, you will co-create proposals and programme designs that draw on local expertise and deliver impact at scale.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the Head of Partnerships and wider WFN team in delivering our fundraising strategy, stewarding high-value donor relationships, and unlocking new opportunities for income growth.
The Partnerships Manager will work directly with some of WFN’s existing portfolio of 30 Major Donors made up primarily of Trusts, Family Foundations and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) supporters, with some Corporates. The Partnerships Manager will maintain close professional relationships with supporters that are bespoke and require excellent interpersonal skills, with most meetings taking place in-person, in central London.

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will join a small and high-performing Corporate Partnerships team, taking over a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects at our ‘consortium’ partner level, ranging from £10k-£50k per annum.
You will identify, engage, secure, and steward corporate partner prospects from sectors that include law, construction, manufacturing and logistics, as well as supporting other team members across different sectors as the need arises. Main duties
New business
- Personally scope, develop and secure new corporate partnerships at consortium level (£10k-£50k), aiming for a robust portfolio of partners in assigned sectors with multi-year commitments, working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and other relevant stakeholders to appropriately to secure and steward.
- Support the Head of Corporate Partnerships to engage in proactive new business development within the corporate sector, including support for network mapping with senior volunteers.
- Manage writing and submission of reports and proposals for grants to corporate foundations, working alongside other Development team and wider organisation members to ensure high-quality submissions.
- Alongside team members, manage the shared Development inbox to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a prompt, consistent, and friendly manner.

High Value Partnerships Manager (Corporate and Trusts)
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented fundraising team
We are looking for an experienced Trust and Corporate Manager - to be known as a High Value Partnerships Manager - to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for fundraising from Corporate Partnerships and Trusts & Grants, both of which are already well-established income streams with lots of great potential. You will also use your experience to identify, attract and win new partnerships.
Contract: Permanent
Hours:30 hours per week (negotiable for the right candidate)
Flexibility: We are a flexible employer and most of our staff are juggling things (including caring for multiples!) We are great at making jobs work around life.
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 (pro rata)
Reports to: Head of Development
Work location: Hybrid/remote. Office space in London Bridge, although entirely remote option is fine. Occasional travel to partner meetings will also be required.

Purpose of the role
- Accountable for winning and delivering partnerships with Corporates and Trust & Grants, with support from a Fundraising Officer
- Secure new partnerships that are vision-aligned, with a focus on multi-year grants/contracts
- Research and develop a strategy for growing our High Value income, whilst providing excellent relationship management, delivery and reporting to those we’re already working with
- Line manage a Fundraising Officer who will provide support to implement your fundraising strategy
- Work with the Head of Development and Senior Management Team to identify opportunities across the charity to fundraise for and demonstrate the impact of our work to partners
- Work with the Membership team to maximise opportunities with brands to offer discounts to Twins Trust's members
Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing a strategy for High Value Partnerships. They will be able to demonstrate how they have researched and negotiated partnerships and/or submitted funding applications, providing excellent stewardship and creating meaningful partnerships that lead to long term support and therefore sustainable income.
Person specification
Essential
- Experience of creating and delivering a High Value strategy
- Experience of the full fundraising pipeline, including researching, cultivating and securing multi-year 5 or 6 figure donations from Trusts, Foundations or Corporate Partnerships (experience of both income streams a plus)
- Excellent relationship building skills up to a senior level
- Ability to project manage the delivery of partnerships including impact reporting
- Experience working in a CRM and analysing data to inform decision-making (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Able to collaborate with a team of various disciplines or work independently as required
- Enthusiasm for the issues we work on

- Line management or mentoring experience
- Working understanding of admin processes relating to fundraising
- The ability to demonstrate a commercial mindset
- An understanding of GDPR in relation to fundraising
