As Corporate Partnerships Senior Officer, you will bring creativity, resilience, and strong organisational skills to the team. You will have a genuine passion for our cause and take a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to support the growth of our Corporate Partnerships programme. 

You will have a track record of securing new corporate partnerships or sponsorships, generating income and managing a diverse pipeline of opportunities.

You will work to deliver excellent, bespoke stewardship to nurture meaningful relationships with valued partners and open doors to new opportunities, generating vital income that supports the charity’s mission. 

You will work with colleagues across the Philanthropy and Partnerships team, Comms and Supporter Engagement sharing ideas, insights to develop impact-drive propositions and pitches using a story focussed approach to secure new support from corporate partners.

Alongside this, you will keep a thoughtful eye on progress, monitoring and reporting on partnership performance, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring everything we do reflects the highest standards of fundraising practice. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Support the delivery of the corporate partnerships programme, working with the corporate partnerships team to help secure high-value, strategic corporate partnerships with companies from a range of sectors.
• Help to generate significant income for the charity, increase awareness of our new brand and identify creative opportunities to engage new audiences in Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
• Deliver excellent, tailored stewardship to retain and grow our existing partners support, in turn supporting the wider work of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Identify and secure new high-value partnerships which generate significant income, engage new audiences and increase awareness of Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’s new brand.
2. Deliver excellent partner stewardship and build strong relationships with partners helping to develop a pipeline of high-value, multi-year, strategic partnerships which support the charity’s strategic objectives.   
3. Working collaboratively with key teams across Impact, Comms and Fundraising, develop compelling pitches and propositions which demonstrate the impact of the charity and secure partners’ support.

• Manage a pipeline of new and existing partnership opportunities and track progress using the charity’s CRM to ensure excellent record keeping and administration.

1. Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders from the wider fundraising team, senior leadership, volunteering, communications and business development teams to gain their support and identify new partnership opportunities across the charity.

• Contribute to financial targets and reporting to inform the annual forecasting and budgeting process.

The focus of the Philanthropy & Trusts team is to build a solid base of support through excellent stewardship of existing trusts and major donors alongside cultivation of new prospects, reached through prospect research and the networks of senior volunteers. Job summary:

You will set both strategic direction and deliver hands-on activity, overseeing all fundraising streams, communications, digital platforms, and supporter engagement. • Ensure digital and communication tools, channels, systems and platforms underpin and are able to maximise opportunities for all fundraising, communications, and operational activity.
• Use communication and marketing techniques to amplify the impact of our services and increase our reach, ensuring maximum take up.
• Oversee the charity’s website, ensuring strong user experience, accessibility, SEO performance, and conversion optimisation.

5. Campaigns & public engagement

• Lead fundraising, awareness and media campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

• Provide regular performance reports to the CEO and Board, including financial updates, campaign metrics, and risk management.

Essential experience

• Senior leadership experience within a charity or non-profit organisation, ideally in a small team or resource-limited environment.

We are seeking a Trusts Fundraising Officer to join our ambitious trusts and foundations team, supporting delivery of the trusts fundraising plan and maximising grant income. The successful candidate will contribute to developing compelling proposals to secure funding, provide excellent stewardship of donors to build long term relationships, and research new trust prospects.

Proven experience of successful trusts fundraising is essential, and the candidate will need to be proactive, naturally well organised, with the ability to craft powerful cases for support. An understanding of fundraising from trusts for medical research causes is desirable.

You will support the Head of Trusts Fundraising in maximising income from charitable trusts and foundations to meet and exceed financial targets; identifying new trusts and increasing the number and value of gifts.

Main tasks and Responsibilities

1. To support the Head of Trusts Fundraising in implementing the three-year strategic plan for Trust Fundraising, and in delivering an effective annual plan and budget that will enable Action Medical Research to maximise income from charitable trusts and foundations.

2. To develop and manage excellent relationships with existing and potential donors, particularly small and medium trusts.

3. To liaise with the Research department to identify appropriate projects to present to potential donors and to manage and report on restricted donations for specific medical research projects

4. To regularly research and monitor new target trusts building a strong pipeline of prospects.

5. To develop and write compelling and persuasive proposals to present to prospects and donors.

6. To ensure that trusts that have made restricted donations are kept appropriately informed of progress against the research work which they are funding and, in the longer term, of the impact that their support has achieved.

7. To manage allocated charity partnerships where co-funding medical research, agreeing trusts which may be individually or jointly approached, raising invoices and reporting at agreed intervals.

8. To ensure continuing dialogue with trusts which have the potential to support our work in the future.

9. To ensure that Raisers Edge and the grant link schedule are kept up to date.

10.  To work with Supporter Care to ensure timely notice of donations to enable the Trusts team to give speedy appreciation of support.

11.  To work with colleagues across the charity, and other external stakeholders, to advocate for trust fundraising, identify opportunities and support colleagues in overlapping fundraising objectives.

12.  Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Action Medical Research, the principles governing the funding of research and the projects being funded.

13.  Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the trust marketplace and competitive influences on it.

14.  Keep the Head of Trusts Fundraising fully informed of activities at all times and work closely with the Trusts Fundraising Officer.

We are seeking a Community Fundraising Officer to lead and deliver a small number of high-impact virtual fundraising challenges and supporter-led events each year.

This role exists to generate lumpy, time-bound income spikes through well-executed campaigns.

This is a delivery-focused, commercially minded position suited to someone who is comfortable working with data, managing budgets, and being accountable for results.

Key responsibilities

Virtual fundraising challenges (core responsibility):

• Designing and delivering 3–4 virtual fundraising challenges per year.
• Managing each challenge end-to-end, including campaign concept and structure, participant onboarding and journey, fundraising targets, timelines, delivery, and wrap-up.
• Running private Facebook Groups or similar community spaces during live challenge periods.
• Managing paid incentives and paid social advertising budgets.
• Ensuring challenges are repeatable, scalable, and cost-effective.

Supporter-led and external events

• Coordinating and promoting participation in:
• Run for Charity events
• Overseas challenge events (e.g. treks)
• Peer-to-peer fundraising (e.g. birthday fundraisers or evergreen P2P)
• Acting as the main point of contact for supporters taking part
• Providing clear guidance, materials, and support while keeping delivery light-touch

Income, data & performance

• Owning net income targets for each campaign
• Monitoring and analysing campaign performance
• Tracking: Spend, Cost per lead, Activation rates, Funds raised.
• Reporting clearly on outcomes, learning, and recommendations
• Continuously refining formats to improve performance year-on-year

About you

You will bring:

• Experience in community fundraising, events fundraising, or supporter-led campaigns

• High-performance mindset with confidence working to clear income targets and demonstrating Return on Investment (ROI)
• Proficiency with digital platforms and tools such as:Meta Ads, FundraiseUp and/or Raisely, Google Analytics.
