The Role

You’ll work closely with foster carers and social work colleagues to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support and improve outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational responsibility for TACT Scotland
• To prepare and contribute to regular management meetings and development of the service including business planning for the area.
• To ensure all practice follows TACT’s child protection procedures and is able to manage complex child protection and safeguarding concerns within regulatory, policy and procedural guidelines.  
• To ensure all children receive high levels of care in a safe and secure environment and that we expect the best possible outcomes for individual children. 
• Achieving and managing a budget income and expenditure.
• To ensure high levels of foster carer retention and support across the Region,
• Take the lead on existing or future potential strategic partnerships with regional charitable partners.

What You’ll Need

• Dip SW/CSS/CQSW/Degree in Social Work
• Post qualifying experience in fieldwork, residential or family placement setting or substantial pre-qualifying experience.
• A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality and promoting their positive development.
• Experience of managing a diverse team.
• Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Ability to work within an agency framework and use policies and procedures appropriately.

We are looking for a Fundraising Manager to join their ambitious team, could this be you?

The Role

This new role of Fundraising Manager is a key part of the ongoing work to implement the Cathedral’s strategic plan. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the role will be vital in securing sustainable funds to support the Cathedral’s ambitious plans for growth. Main responsibilities include:

• Creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy
• Leading and developing the existing Patrons Programme
• Developing a pipeline to secure grant funding from trusts and foundations
• Introducing and leading a new culture of legacy giving
• Increasing the average donation per visitor and growing individual giving

The Person

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies that deliver financial growth. You will have experience in one or more of the following income streams; Trust and Foundations, Major Donor/ Patrons and/or Legacy Fundraising. You should be experienced in working to targets and managing budgets and possess a sound knowledge of fundraising regulations and legislation and GDPR.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You should also be able to write compelling communications, including applications and proposals.

Previous line management experience is desirable, but most importantly, you should be collaborative, ambitious, and resilient, ready to drive projects forward. This is a diverse role with huge potential to build on historic success and shape the future of Ripon Cathedral!

Our monitoring, evaluation and impact work is building, and there is grant potential to shape how we report on the value our work has to the communities around us.

We are looking for someone who is a confident communicator, able to develop strong partnerships and has the skill to understand and interpret new project ideas. A clinical background is not a requirement, but a genuine interest in how we can make a difference for people living with cancer is essential.

Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of managing grant-funded projects, a creative approach to challenges and a supportive attitude to managing others. They will be able to navigate complex governance and work with internal and external stakeholders effectively. They will have the ability to see and realise opportunities for income generation to support their work.

This role will work alongside the Head of Services (Cancer Awareness), and there is an expectation of close collaboration and cross-working between the two sides of the team. This is a rare opportunity to be on the front line of human rights research and advocacy, joining a specialist organisation with a long track record in promoting the right to freedom of religion or belief (FoRB).

You will undertake research, investigations, monitoring, report-writing and advocacy on freedom of religion and human rights in Asia. You will develop a good relationship with stakeholders and ensure effective and creative ways to advance the research and advocacy on Asia.

Key responsibilities (full responsibilities listed in the application pack):

• To plan, organise and undertake research, monitoring and reporting on freedom of religion or belief and related human rights issues in the Asia region, through regular fact-finding assignments when and where security conditions allow, briefings with key stakeholders and the development of reliable in-country and external partnerships and collaboration.
• To produce materials, including general and thematic briefings and in-depth reports, documenting and analysing the situation of freedom of religion or belief and human rights in Asia, as well as advocacy recommendations.

The Person

A committed Christian with a university degree and a strong commitment to human rights and justice, you will be fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Manderin), have excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to take the initiative and to work well under pressure.

1. Background

Osman Consulting Ltd supports the design, coordination, and implementation of humanitarian and development programmes across multiple regions, with a primary focus on Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Latin America

2. Purpose of the Role

The Senior Programmes Officer (Maternity Cover) is responsible for supporting the effective coordination, delivery, and development of a multi-country humanitarian programme portfolio. The role ensures continuity of programme implementation during the maternity cover period by maintaining strong partner relationships, overseeing programme progress, and supporting high-quality proposal development and reporting.

Programme Coordination and Partner Management

• Maintain regular communication with implementing partners across multiple countries
• Coordinate programme activities to ensure timely and effective delivery
• Support negotiation and alignment with field teams and partners on implementation priorities

Proposal Development, Business Development and Donor Engagement

• Provide timely updates to the Programmes Manager on issues requiring escalation or re-prioritisation.

5. Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or equivalent experience in international development, humanitarian studies, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in programme coordination, project management, or humanitarian/development settings
• Proven experience in proposal development, including budget preparation
• Strong experience working with implementing partners and managing multi-country programmes
• Experience reviewing narrative and financial reports and ensuring donor compliance
• Familiarity with working alongside finance and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) teams

6. Core Competencies

• Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English required; Arabic is desirable

About Action Tutoring
At Action Tutoring, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to succeed in school. But in the UK today, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds are less likely to 

achieve the grades they need to progress in life. This isn't because they are any less able; they have less access to the tools to help them reach their potential.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a strong candidate with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core National Curriculum subjects to join our established Impact and Quality department as Curriculum and Quality Manager. This role has oversight for ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality, tailored tutoring resources for pupils and tutors, and managing the quality assurance processes within our organisation. This role includes line managing a team composed of two Curriculum Leads. You will also work closely with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications Department to provide matrix project leadership for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training. 

To achieve this, we are looking for a candidate with experience teaching either English or maths (or equivalent) with a willingness to quickly understand the curriculum requirements in the other subject. You will have a strong understanding of how to set the standard for excellent tutor training and tutor quality assurance, using your educational expertise to shape effective training and quality assurance frameworks that enable tutors of varying experience levels to flourish. The position would suit someone who loves working in education, values pedagogical best practice, and thrives when balancing creative curriculum and quality development with operational realities.

Main responsibilities

• Project Management: Project manage the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutor and pupil resources to a high standard and in line with agreed budgets, ensuring that they are relevant to the curriculum, engaging to use and allow for progress to be monitored. Work with the Head of Impact & Quality to set assessment questions to measure pupil progress.
• Quality Assurance & Insights: Manage the spot check process. Carry out detailed observations of online tutoring sessions, producing feedback to individuals flagged for observation by the programme team. Set annual Key Performance Indicators and produce termly insights into quality assurance, tracking impact over time. Produce an annual quality assurance report. 
• People & Matrix Management: Line manage the Curriculum Leads for English and maths, managing their work flow and projects goals. Provide matrix project leadership to Tutor Journey Coordinators for the delivery of Initial Tutor Training. 
• Training & support: Lead the annual review of Tutor Training updates, coordinating changes and/or commissioning new modules as required for quality and those proposed by the safeguarding and Tutor Journey teams. 

Essential Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for someone who is/has:

• Educated to degree level with formal teaching qualifications and experience teaching core national curriculum subjects.
• Strong subject knowledge in either English or maths; with a proven willingness and ability to quickly grasp the curriculum and exam specification requirements of the other subject.
• Right to work in the UK.

The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of UnitedGMH. Reporting to the boards of UnitedGMH and the American Friends of United for Global Mental Health (AFUGMH), the CEO will set strategic direction, oversee delivery, and act as the organisation’s primary ambassador.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership

• Lead in conjunction with the organisation’s senior staff the refinement and delivery of our global organisational strategy 2027-2030.
• Guide the organisation through periods of change, including strategy refresh and transformation.
• Draw on sector insight to ensure UnitedGMH remains at the forefront of global mental health advocacy.

Governance & Board Relationship

• Work closely with the boards of UnitedGMH and AFUGMH to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
• Oversee the preparation and sign-off of board papers; present regularly to the boards. 
• Identify, recommend and support the recruitment of new members of both boards. 
• Advise the boards on significant strategic decisions, including potential partnerships and organisational change.

Organisational Leadership

• Lead, support and inspire a high-performing and global team of approximately 20 staff.
• Where needed, oversee and support the delivery of multiple projects and programmes aligned with strategic priorities, in conjunction with the project leads.
• Foster a collaborative, kind, inclusive and values-driven culture that walks the talk on mental health.

External Engagement & Influence

• Represent the organisation with external partners, funders, policymakers and the wider sector. 
• Build and manage relationships with key donors.
• Strengthen and expand strategic partnerships globally.
• Champion the organisation’s mission and influence key stakeholders in different regions across the world.
• Act as the organisation’s global spokesperson and support staff in building their profile as spokespeople for the organisation.

Finance & Organisational Planning

• Identify and agree organisational objectives, develop strategic and operational plans, and lead their implementation with a high level of autonomy, while reporting to the boards. 
• Oversee organisational planning, budgeting, prioritisation and resource allocation to ensure delivery against strategic goals. 
• Ensure the organisation has sufficient and sustainable funding to deliver against agreed budgets and strategic priorities. 
• Maintain strong financial oversight and accountability, ensuring the organisation operates within budget and delivers across all agreed objectives. 
• Monitor organisational performance against agreed deliverables, evaluating outcomes and adjusting plans where necessary to mitigate risk or adverse consequences. 
• Ensure robust financial management, operational planning, and effective use of organisational resources across multiple programmes and projects. 
• Bring together and oversee complex, cross-organisational initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and on time.

Fundraising & External Income Generation

• Lead and support organisational fundraising strategy to secure sustainable and diversified income streams. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, donors, strategic partners and philanthropic stakeholders. 
• Successfully secure and oversee fundraising contributions to meet a target set annually with the boards. 
• Work with the boards and senior leadership team to identify new funding opportunities and strengthen long-term financial sustainability. 
• Ensure fundraising activities align with the organisation’s mission, values and strategic priorities. 
• Represent the organisation externally to enhance visibility, influence and support for UnitedGMH’s work globally. 

Risk, Compliance & Accountability

• Ensure strong organisational governance, compliance and risk management. 
• Proactively identify and escalate policy breaches or serious incidents. 
• Oversee finance, HR and operations functions in accordance with UK employment policies, and UK and US charity regulations.
• Act as the primary point of accountability to the boards and relevant regulatory bodies (including the Charity Commission and US authorities). 
• Take responsibility for organisational risks, decisions and outcomes.

4. Scope of Work and Key Responsibilities

     Human Resources administration

• Support recruitment processes, including vacancy logistics, interview scheduling, reference collection, and contract preparation for approved roles.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date personnel files for project staff and consultants, including contracts, IDs, onboarding forms, performance records, and leave documentation.
• Support staff induction processes and ensure that policies, reporting lines, code of conduct requirements, and key administrative procedures are clearly communicated.
• Track attendance, leave, contract dates, renewal points, and other HR actions and raise reminders in advance.

   Administrative Support

• Provide administrative support for meetings, travel arrangements, calendars, document circulation, filing systems, and internal correspondence.

• Ensure that project documents requiring signatures, approvals, or controlled circulation are processed efficiently and stored appropriately.

ROLE SUMMARY  

The Programme Manager will lead the delivery of the Belonging in School Project in Redcar and Cleveland, a 2‑year partnership (with ambitions to extend) between The Diana Award (TDA) and the Henry Smith Foundation. The role will oversee programme implementation across three schools, ensuring high-quality training, youth leadership development, and whole‑school culture change that improves belonging, safety, inclusion, and student wellbeing. 

JOB DESCRIPTION  

Key Responsibilities

1. Programme Design 

• Working with the Programmes team and using existing 1-Day Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassador content and programme materials, reshape and build an intensive intervention, designed to be delivered initially in 3 schools across one year.
• Consult with local schools, young people and parents to ensure programme content is in line with what is needed from the community.
• With support from The Diana Award, design and roll-out specialist sessions (anti-racist, anti-HBT, anti-misogynistic bullying, online safety) depending on student feedback and school need. 
• Ensure programme design is iterated and improved throughout the year based on learning from data and feedback 

2. Programme Delivery 

• Deliver the Anti‑Bullying Ambassador Programme in schools over the course of a school year 
• Attend schools on a weekly basis, providing 1-2-1 and group support for Anti-Bullying Ambassadors.
• Support staff, governors, and parents/carers to adopt a whole-school approach to anti bullying, inclusion, and community cohesion. 
• Ensure all delivery aligns with project outcomes: boosting belonging, attendance, confidence, leadership. 

3. Youth Voice & Panel Development 

• Establish and facilitate Youth Panels/Anti Bullying Ambassador groups in each school to bridge communication between students and decision-makers. 
• Equip young people with the skills to lead campaigns, design interventions, and shape school culture. 
• Ensure youth voice is central to programme decisions, reporting, and learning cycles

4. Stakeholder Management 

• Build strong relationships with school leaders, teachers, pastoral teams, governors, and community partners across Redcar & Cleveland.
• Act as TDA’s primary representative in Redcar & Cleveland. 
• Collaborate with external learning partners. 
• Facilitate cross-school collaboration and knowledge-sharing in Redcar & Cleveland.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting 

• Use the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning framework to ensure we are consistently reviewing quality and impact of the programme and in line with KPIs. 
• Use baseline and end-line surveys/methods with students, staff, parents and other stakeholders to measure impact. 
• Track progress against KPIs (e.g.,boosting belonging, attendance, confidence, leadership.) 
• Produce high-quality reports for funders, internal leadership, and school stakeholders. 
• Evaluate long-term culture change across the 2-year programme. 

6. Compliance, Safeguarding & Quality Assurance 

• Ensure delivery meets TDA and each partner school’s safeguarding, GDPR, data ethics, and quality standards. 
• Maintain detailed documentation for audit and grant compliance. 
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies, escalating where necessary to the Head of Programme Delivery. 
• Run regular programme review meetings to understand quality and success of programme 

 7. Programme Development & Organisational Contribution 

• Contribute insights from delivery into broader TDA programme development. 
• Capture case studies and success stories from pupils, staff, and schools. 
• Support organisational learning from place-based projects delivered in other regions.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES 

Essential  

• Significant experience delivering school, youth, or community-based programmes. 
• Experience in designing school, youth or community-based programmes, preferably with a focus on attendance. 
• Strong facilitation and training skills, especially with young people. 
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects and building trusted relationships. 
• Strong understanding of bullying behaviour, inclusion, safeguarding, and wellbeing. 
• Competence in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) including survey tools and data reporting. 
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentations). 
• Confident in managing competing priorities and working independently in the field. 
• Ability to model empathy, fairness, youth-led practice, and inclusive leadership. 
• Lived experience/strong working knowlegde of the Redcar & Cleveland area, particularly in regard to challenges faced by young people and schools.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable 

• Experience with whole-school or behaviour change programmes.

The Business Analyst sits within the Member Association Development and Impact Division as a central operator in the divisional data management and analytics. The role works across teams and is a connector and collaborator with regional offices. This position bridges data analysis, project management, and stakeholder communication - translating complex data into clear visualisations and insights that help support strategic decision-making within the Secretariat. 

The role works most closely with the Strategy Director and the Head of Portfolio Management, and collaborates regularly with the Research & Partnerships Senior Advisor and the Performance Senior Advisor. It also involves sustained engagement with Architects of Cooperation (AOCs), Business Analysts across the network, and external consultants, and the overall Division Director.  

This is a varied and evolving role suited to someone who copes well with ambiguity and complexity, and who enjoys working with people of all different cultures and backgrounds; someone who is proactive in problem solving, and confident working across data, project management, and communication functions.
