About the Role
Our Performance and Insight Coordinator is a new role within Fire Fighters Charity, giving a rare opportunity to implement and develop tools and metrics to enable us to provide the best possible health and wellbeing support for our fire service community.
You will gather and analyse data from a range of different sources, and present information to help us make the best decisions across our organisation. You will be key in identifying emerging issues and opportunities, to support organisational planning, learning, and improvement.
You will ensure the organisation remains informed, responsive, and connected to what matters most. This will include coordinating organisational performance and impact metrics, alongside monitoring key internal and external relationships, such as Fire and Rescue Service and other partners.
Working within the Change and Innovation function, you will build and maintain a data and feedback infrastructure that integrates internal perspectives, user feedback, service performance metrics, and informal intelligence.
This role is remote based in the UK. The successful candidate will work from home, with occasional travel across the UK.

We are seeking an outstanding Senior Policy Manager to become Head of our small staff team which drives the growth and influence of the Children and Young People’s Mental Health Coalition. As Head of the Coalition, you will lead its public affairs and influencing activity. You will campaign to influence government policy and the legislative agenda on children and young people’s mental health, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and ensure the Coalition’s voice is heard across Westminster, Whitehall and in the media.
With over 370 members nationwide, the Coalition has significant potential to expand its impact. Many members already influence locally through NHS Integrated Care Boards, councils and MPs, but need support and coordination to amplify their voices. You will help them do so.
We are looking for someone with substantial experience in public affairs and policy influencing, a deep understanding of political systems and processes, and well-established networks. Most importantly, you will bring passion and commitment to improving the mental health of babies, children and young people.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the Coalition, which is hosted by Centre for Mental Health, delivering its objectives and vision.
- Set priorities in consultation with the Chair, the Centre’s Associate Director for Policy, and Coalition members.
- Design and deliver policy-influencing and campaigning projects with staff, members and partners.
- Lead income generation for the Coalition with the Centre’s Associate Director for Business Development, managing relationships with funders, undertaking necessary reporting, and building connections for future prospects.
- Manage and develop the Coalition’s staff team.
- Grow the Coalition’s online presence, ensuring social media and web content is high quality, up to date, engaging and strategically aligned with influencing goals.
- Support and coordinate the Steering Group, ensuring it is active, representative of the Coalition’s breadth and effective in guiding the Coalition’s strategic direction.

The service brings together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic and integrated services for adults with mental health problems. We are looking for a full time Peer Support Worker to provide recovery-orientated one to one and group-based peer support to people with common and long-term mental health problems. The successful candidate will work with clients to improve their confidence and resilience, reduce social isolation and help them integrate further into the local community, whilst also providing general support for the day-to-day self-management of their client’s mental health.
You will use your own mental health lived experience to build good rapport with your clients and ensure your approach is meaningful. You will need to be organised, resilient, flexible, and empathetic in supporting clients to achieve their goals. The role will include:
