The Head of Nursing and Quality is a senior strategic and operational leader within The Children’s Trust, responsible for delivering the highest standards of nursing, clinical care, safety, and clinical governance across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing and Quality, the postholder provides professional leadership for the nursing and care workforce, oversees the day to day clinical management of the organisation and deputises for the Director of Nursing and Quality / Registered Manager as required.

This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC, OFSTED Care, National Minimum Standards for Children’s Homes, and national patient safety requirements, while fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and improvement. Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Professional Practice

• Provide highly visible, credible leadership to nursing and care teams across the organisation.
• Act as a key delegate and deputy for the Director of Nursing and Quality / Registered Manager.
• Champion a culture that promotes safe, equitable, compassionate, and evidence-based care.
• Ensure children, young people, and families are meaningfully involved in shaping service delivery and evaluating their experience.
• Lead the development and delivery of organisational initiatives, contributing to strategic objectives, the business plan, and the organisational dashboard.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure full compliance with CQC, OFSTED Care, National Minimum Standards for Children’s Homes, NMC standards, and other applicable legislation.
• Lead audits of CQC and Ofsted standards, identifying gaps and implementing robust action plans.
• Assist in the continued development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective organisation-wide clinical governance framework.
• Jointly coordinate the completion of the annual Quality Account.
• Lead clinical policy development, ensuring all clinical policies are evidence-based, current, and understood by staff.

 Patient Safety, Clinical Risk and Incident Management

• Lead a culture of transparency, learning, and continuous improvement within the Nursing and Care directorate.
• Implement and oversee the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and annual associated plan alongside the Head of Clinical Governance.
• Ensure timely review and oversight of incident reporting, risk assessments, serious incident investigations, and associated actions.
• Promote and strengthen organisational processes for identifying, mitigating, and monitoring clinical risks.
• Communicate themes and learning from incidents across the organisation.

Workforce Leadership, Development and Management

• Provide professional leadership to nursing, care, safeguarding, respiratory, pharmacy, clinical governance and clinical education teams.
• Line manage: Business Support Manager, Senior Clinical Lead, Lead Respiratory Nurse and three house managers, and associated teams.
• Ensure robust workforce planning, including appropriate skill mix and safe staffing.
• Lead recruitment and retention strategies for nursing and care services in partnership with the People Team.
• Ensure regular, high-quality clinical supervision, appraisal, and professional development opportunities.
• Oversee NMC revalidation processes and compliance with professional standards.
• Build high-performing teams through motivation, recognition, coaching, and consistent performance management.

Nursing and Care Leadership

• Provide strategic leadership for the nursing and care education team and line manager this through the Senior Clinical Lead.
• Ensure a safe and effective education provision aligned with national standards and NMC, and other regulatory requirements.

Safeguarding

• Ensure strong collaboration with safeguarding professionals ensuring safeguarding governance, policy implementation, training compliance, and multi-agency collaboration.
• Provide senior oversight of safeguarding concerns, investigations, and learning in conjunction with the Director of Nursing and Quality, and wider safeguarding team.

Infection Prevention and Control (IPC)

• Provide leadership for infection prevention and control, ensuring compliance with national guidelines.
• Monitor infection data, oversee IPC audits, and initiate improvement strategies.
• Promote best practice in all clinical and residential settings.

Documentation, Information Management and Digital Systems

• Ensure safe, accurate and secure medical and care records, with regular audit for compliance.
• Maximise use of digital systems to support clinical decision-making, documentation, and governance.
• Ensure clear, consistent standards for record-keeping across all clinical and care areas.

Resource, Budget and Performance Management

• Hold delegated responsibility for staffing and non-staffing budgets across nursing, care, and residential services.
• Lead capital and equipment planning to ensure all clinical environments are safe and fit for purpose.
• Review and ensure effective skill mix and resource allocation.
• Set SMART objectives for direct reports and monitor performance through structured quarterly reviews.

Senior Leadership and Organisational Responsibilities

• Serve as a critical member of the Nursing and Care Senior Leadership Team.
• Participate in the senior site manager weekend rota.
• Communicate organisational messages effectively and relay staff feedback to senior leaders.
• Undertake additional duties aligned with the role’s scope and organisational requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and The Children's Trust policies.

About the role

Sightsavers are embarking on a major new programme to advance inclusive development and empower young people with disabilities across Africa, placing a strong focus on young women. The programme centres on creating access to dignified and meaningful employment for youth with disabilities, aligning with broader strategies to promote economic opportunities for underrepresented groups.

Sightsavers’ DART Governance team are looking to recruit a DHIS2 Development Lead, to join their team for a two-year period. In the initial phase, the post-holder will be responsible for the end-to-end configuration, testing, and roll-out of the tracker tool, ensuring it meets programme and organisational requirements for data quality, privacy, and reporting. This role offers occasional travel throughout the tenure and is available in Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia or Ghana. The role can be full time or worked on a four-day week.

If you have experience working with multi-country, multi-project DHIS2 tracker implementations, and can translate user requirements into clean DHIS2 configurations and iterative releases then this could be a great career opportunity for you to take up.

Key accountabilities but not limited to:

• Lead the requirements gathering, design, configuration, and deployment of the DHIS2 Tracker tool for the economic empowerment programme.

• Build and optimise programme rules, data elements, option sets, workflows, and analytics to support individual and aggregate reporting.

• Pilot and validate the tracker with country teams; oversee user acceptance testing and iterative improvements.

• Establish and enforce data quality rules, validation constraints, completeness checks and exception monitoring.

• Define data management protocols and ensure alignment with organisational data governance.

• Implement privacy-by-design: data minimisation, role-based access, secure exports, and ethical handling of personally identifiable data.

• Work with DART Data Governance team to connect DHIS2 Tracker data to the Azure ODS/analytics layer. 

• Ensure metadata, data catalogues and indicator calculations align to organisational standards.

• Work with DART Data Use team to develop analytics tools for data quality and analysis, and to support project monitoring by MEL and programme management unit.

Knowledge, skills and experience as the DHIS2 Development Lead

Essential:

• Demonstrable hands-on DHIS2 experience delivering Tracker/Event programmes at scale.

• Either considerable working experience as a DHIS2 development lead, or a recognised qualification/degree in information systems, data management, computer science, public health informatics or similar.

• Strong understanding of designing and organising data structures, including defining and managing data elements and their relationships.

• Experience with unique identifier (ID/key) management and applying quality assurance methods to ensure accuracy and reliability of individual-level data.

• Experience working with multi-country programmes and diverse, non-technical user groups.

• Understanding of data privacy/ethics and safeguarding in systems that hold personally identifiable data.

About the role

Reporting in to the Strategy & Performance Lead, the Business Planning & Performance Specialist will co-lead the corporate planning and reporting cycle, cascading the global strategy into annual corporate plans and OKRs, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. 

The post-holder will partner with their assigned departments to support them to be high performing teams with business plans aligned to organisational values and goals, and together with the Strategy and Performance Lead and the Business Insights & Intelligence Analyst, they ensure alignment between departmental objectives, operational plans, measures of success and support high performance.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Business Planning & Performance Specialist will include:

• Support the Strategy and Performance Lead in setting and maintaining the strategic planning framework cascading strategy into annual business plans for all business units, enabling alignment with organisational values and goals.
• Co-Lead Corporate Planning and Reporting: Co-lead the organisation-wide corporate planning and reporting cycle—shaping the organisation annual corporate plan, defining OKRs, and tracking progress. Work alongside the other Business Planning and Performance Specialist to drive a consistent and effective business planning process.
• Lead Development of Business Plans and OKRs: Lead the development of annual departmental business plans and OKRs, ensuring alignment with corporate OKRs and integrating budgeting and risk management to produce coherent, strategically connected plans.
• Support Departmental Leadership: Work closely with Senior Management Teams—particularly within Income and Public Engagement, Finance, and Governance—to develop and deliver clear, trackable business plans aligned with organisational strategy. Serve as an active member of relevant departmental management teams to ensure Christian Aid’s strategy and corporate plan are fully embedded across both operational and strategic workstreams.
• Manage Corporate Performance Reporting: Oversee organisation-wide performance tracking and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate updates for senior leaders and key external stakeholders, including inputs to Christian Aid’s Annual Report & Accounts.

Overall purpose of the role

The Trusts and Foundations Officer role will be responsible for securing five-figure funding from Trusts and Foundations and management of existing donor relationships to ensure effective stewardship. The role will also manage small Trust mailings and provide wider support to the team by maintaining funder records in Raisers Edge, developing case for support and supporting internal reporting on Trust fundraising activity.  

We’re looking for an experienced Trust Fundraiser who can drive forward our income growth from both our existing and new supporters with skills in researching Trusts, writing compelling funding proposals and reports and in particular growing the medium Trust fundraising programme.

There are four key areas of responsibility for the role:

i) Identifying and researching Trusts that have the ability to give at the five-figure level, maintaining a pipeline of planned applications.

Job summary

The Head of Services and Support is a key role at Bowel Cancer UK, leading the delivery of our patient support services. We currently provide high-quality support, but we know we need to do even more - reach more people and have an even greater impact.

The Head of Services and Support will lead the development and delivery of our patient support services. This is a pivotal role with key areas of focus:

• Drive innovation in patient support.
• Expand our reach and accessibility to ensure no one faces bowel cancer alone.
• Build strong partnerships with stakeholders.
• Champion technology and digital solutions to enhance service delivery.

You’ll work closely with the Director (Senior Leadership Team), your colleagues on the Extended Leadership Team and your services team to set strategic direction and ensure our services are impactful, inclusive, and evidence based.

About the role

We are looking for someone who enjoys leading campaigns and working with people. As our Senior Supporter Acquisition Fundraiser, you will:

· Manage a range of Individual Giving campaigns from start to finish, making sure they run smoothly and meet targets.

· Work with teams across Scope to create inspiring supporter journeys and maximise the value of every supporter.

· Develop new fundraising products and ideas to reach new and existing audiences.

· Make sure all campaigns are on budget, on brand, and follow all rules.

· Use data and insight to improve campaigns and share results with the team.

· Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners.

· Keep up to date with trends in fundraising and bring new ideas to the team.

· Support the team with digital communications and welcome programmes for new supporters.

· Ensure all supporter data is handled safely and follows GDPR.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

· Hands-on experience across key direct marketing channels such as digital (Lead Generation, Meta, Search, Display), telemarketing, face-to-face, and email.

· A strong understanding of regular giving, lottery and cash recruitment and how to optimise their performance.

· Confidence managing budgets and reporting to ensure campaigns deliver against targets.

· Experience collaborating with agencies and internal teams to create, deliver and evaluate integrated campaigns.

· A data-driven approach- using insight to shape creative, audience targeting and optimisation.

· Excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple campaigns and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of fundraising regulation and data protection, ensuring activity is ethical, compliant and supporter-centred.

· Understand the social model of disability.

Knights Youth Centre (KYC) was established in 1936 as an independent Christian Charity. The centre provides a range of universal and targeted youth work programmes in partnership with a number of statutory and voluntary organisations and is located on the boundary of the Clapham Park Estate (the largest estate in the Borough of Lambeth). In 2025 KYC is joining the Oasis family of charities and will be known as Oasis@Knights. Oasis’ vision is for community, a place where everyone is included, making a contribution and reaching their God-given potential.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate School Youth Worker to support our schools programme for Oasis@Knights. This is an opportunity to run engaging and informative group mentoring sessions for young people aged 10-11 in the Lambeth area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering these sessions, as well as liaising with local schools and promoting Knights Youth Centre to the wider community. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

1. To deliver group workshops, including games, discussions, as well as offering emotional and informative support for children aged 10-11.

2. To represent Knights Youth Centre with teachers, parents, partners, funders, and key agencies as necessary.

3. To develop strong, professional relationships with young people.

4. To build and maintain relationships with local schools, including school staff, teachers and occasionally parents.

5. To assist the Oasis KYC team in recording and measuring the impact services have on the young people. (Most significant change stories, Outcomes Star model or similar)

6. To support the team in ensuring services delivered are relevant and accessible.

7. To undertake any other tasks relevant to the post contained within the Centre’s Service plan or individual work plan.

8. To be sympathetic to the aims of Knights Youth Centre and to work within the professional boundaries and policies at Knights Youth Centre.

The successful post holder must have:

· Proven experience of working with young people in a youth club or school setting.

· Experience of running engaging workshops for young people, that promote life skills and positive wellbeing.

· Experience of working with SEN and at-risk young people

· An understanding of the challenges impacting families and young people in Lambeth

· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.

· Knowledge of safeguarding practices and experience working with young people in challenging environments.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent time keeping.  

· A commitment to the Oasis ethos and values, including inclusion, equality, and perseverance.
