The Group Work Facilitator will play a pivotal role in delivering the CouRAGEus Project, an initiative designed to support Black and Global Majority young women, LGBTQ+ youth, and disabled young people. The role involves facilitating safe, inclusive, and empowering group work sessions that foster emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and self-advocacy.

The Facilitator will provide a trauma-informed, culturally responsive space where participants can explore issues such as mental health, well-being, consent, and social justice. By collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and tailoring interventions to meet diverse needs, the Facilitator will help participants build confidence, develop skills, and navigate challenges while promoting their overall safety and empowerment.

OUTLINE OF THE ROLE

Work with the Trustees to devise and lead new fundraising initiatives that fulfil the objectives of the Trust's Fundraising Strategy and annual income budget, with particular focus on regular giving across all alumni, gifts from high-net-worth individuals, and legacies. This will involve:

• Developing and delivering improved communications to build a stronger connected donor network.

• Locating, engaging and retaining alumni to support and promote the Trust, focused on ensuring their long-term impact on the Trust and its beneficiaries.

• Work with the Trustees/Trust Fundraising Committee to devise and implement new fundraising initiatives.

• Work with the Trustees/Trust Fundraising Committee to identify and engage new volunteers to support the Trust's activities.

KEY TASKS

Work with the Trustees and Fundraising Committee to devise and implement the following:

• Improve communications

The Trust has a strong, growing, and engaged network of loyal alumni who already support the Trust's beneficiaries through fundraising and volunteering. However, the Trust's communications need to be improved in order to increase the numbers of donors who provide sustained financial support and inspire all donors to raise their level of donations. Continually find opportunities to engage new donors and ensure clear consistent messaging.

• Manage and maintain donor data

The Trust needs to maintain a full and accurate database of all donors and fundraising activities to support long-term tracking and inform future fundraising. This also requires networking among alumni and being vigilant to changes in alumni data.

• Research and approach alumni whose connection with the Trust has lapsed

Continue to grow the active network through researching and motivating dormant and lapsed alumni to reconnect with the Trust.

• Research untapped prospects

Research the database with a view to identifying dormant and untapped opportunities, especially regarding

high-net-worth individuals and legacies. Ensure fundraising approaches are well-targeted and informed in order to maximise the chances of success. This will expand to include non-alumni sources, including institutional sources such as foundations and other trusts.

• Ensure long-term donor connection

Communicate with all donors to demonstrate the impact they can make by showcasing the current and long-term outcome of programs. Deliver a diverse selection of communications to engage different audiences, with a clear plan for all members of the network. Ensure donors are connected to the Trust, value the Trust's activities and actively help fund opportunities.

• Reporting to the Trustees

Create an annual donor impact report to the Trustees, and other stakeholders such as alumni, that delineates donor statistics, reviews communications and events that have taken place during the past year and identifies potential prospects and events for developing in the coming year. Also provide a lower-level oral report of fundraising activities and communications to the Trustees at their quarterly meetings.

• Deliver income growth target

Acquire enough new donations to meet agreed annual income growth targets set by the Trustees.

You will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the charity and its overall objectives. For instance, organizing fund-raising specific events in different regions. This position could evolve into a full-time commitment with a support team, but at the present time, support to this role will be provided through the existing network of volunteers.

Job Title: Executive Administrator 

Location: Central Office which is based around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington Station. Hybrid working available, approximately 2 - 3 days per week in the office including every Tuesday. Additional office, service, and away days would be required for attendance.

You will be able to organise and manage events and away days, as well as manage our booking systems and general running. • Experience in high level administration duties, ideally within a similar role, supporting senior leadership teams and boards with all areas of administration

Summary

Are you passionate about fostering ecumenical relationships and shaping the strategic direction of ecumenically-based collaboration? We are seeking an experienced ecumenist to become National Advisor for Ecumenical Relations to support the Archbishops and Bishops in their ecumenical responsibilities, ensuring meaningful partnerships with churches across the UK and beyond.

The ecumenical sub-team is currently composed of three staff, two of whom (including the advertised post) are full-time, and one part-time, with access to administrative support from a fourth (half-time). The National Advisor for Ecumenical Relations is the sub-team manager. The sub-team is part of the Faith and Public Life team and is based at Lambeth Palace. It operates under the aegis of the Council for Christian Unity, reporting to the Archbishops' Council and also to the Archbishops of Canterbury and York.

What you'll be doing

The National Ecumenical Officer is a senior post, and the person appointed will work with the Council for Christian Unity to direct and manage the Church of England's ecumenical relationships at home and abroad and will work through the Office of the Archbishops to support the Archbishops of Canterbury and York in their ecumenical engagements.

As National Ecumenical Officer, you will promote, sustain and develop the Church of England's ecumenical relations, with a focus on enabling cooperation between churches in mission and evangelism. This involves working on cross-cutting issues with a bearing on ecumenical relations with other churches.

As someone considering this role, you will have extensive experience of ecumenical dialogue, whether locally, nationally or internationally, and a vision for ecumenism which holds unity and diversity together creatively. At Toc H Newport, we offer co-produced activities, outreach services and practical support to some of the most disadvantaged individuals and families in the area, reaching over 600 individuals in 2024.Our vision is of a neighbourhood where everyone has the strong community life, emotional wellbeing and socioeconomic opportunities needed to flourish.

Our centre for service delivery is the Toc H Community Centre in Eveswell, Newport, where our offer includes our popular Stay and Play sessions for low-income families, and children’s after-school club Active Juniors. It is an exciting period of growth for Toc H Newport, with a number of new funding streams making it possible for us to reach many more families in need across Newport in 2025 and beyond. This includes a £300,000 grant from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s Community Ownership Fund, allowing us to soon complete a full structural and interior renovation of our facilities.  Following a Community Asset Transfer, our space will soon triple in size, meaning we can offer more activities and services to more local people. Our Volunteer Experience Team supports all administration activities relating to volunteering good practice throughout the SSAFA volunteer journey, with a specific focus on recruitment and retention of volunteers. 

You will regularly communicate and engage with a range of stakeholders across the organisation to enable a smooth-flowing volunteer recruitment process and ongoing support to volunteer teams, contributing to the creation of a positive volunteering experience.  You will support both potential and existing volunteers, our volunteer managers and volunteer teams, through the provision of high standards of customer service and a person-centred approach. 

This role will routinely involve maintaining our volunteer database systems and volunteer records, administering our vetting processes, and engaging with volunteers and teams to provide advice and support (through email, phone call and MS teams meetings).

About you

This role is a great first step into the world of volunteer support services and is built on providing first class customer service with a person-centred approach to supporting our volunteers and teams across the organisation.  Experience in providing administrative services and following processes with an eye for detail are key to undertaking this role, along with the ability manage and prioritise workload effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills are at the core of this role along with good communication skills, comfortable communicating by email, phone and face-to-face via MS teams.  On top of this you will need to demonstrate an ability to use IT software systems such as Microsoft Office and database systems to ensure information is processed in an accurate and timely way across SSAFA’s systems.

About the role

As our Senior Data Executive, you'll lead a small team to manage and improve data processes that support marketing and fundraising efforts. You’ll be responsible for extracting and preparing data for marketing communications, supporting data imports, and ensuring high data quality. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, fundraising, and technical teams to define data selection criteria and ensure accurate, timely data exchanges with suppliers.

You’ll also manage the CRM database, resolve data quality issues, and promote best practices in data management. In addition to handling your own data extracts, you’ll oversee team workload, support and train team members, and continuously improve data processes based on feedback. A key part of your role will be ensuring team performance and wellbeing, driving success through effective leadership and collaboration.

Working arrangements 

Please note this is an 18 month fixed term contract.

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. 

About you

With proven previous experience running complex and large database selections in a busy direct marketing environment, you'll have experience ensuring complex and high-volume data quality and accuracy. You’ll have strong experience with Blackbaud CRM or similar systems, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and a proven track record in importing and exporting data with external agencies. Your attention to detail and strong numeracy skills will enable you to deliver high-quality data management.

Ideally, you'll have a background in fundraising and have gained experience in providing data and interpretation to direct marketing teams for major campaigns, as well as writing SQL queries. You’ll also have a good standard of communication in both written and verbal forms and have experience working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver workloads to strict deadlines. You'll be experienced managing multiple tasks and your own time, prioritising workload appropriately while remaining supportive to your team.

About the role

As PA & Events Assistant you will:

• Manage diaries and inboxes for Senior Leadership Team (SLT) members, scheduling meetings, appointments, and ensuring timely responses to correspondence.

• Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare meeting agendas, and take minutes as required.

• Oversee general organisational inboxes (e.g., info@), ensuring prompt and appropriate responses or delegations.

• Maintain organised records of communications on our CRM and follow-up actions.

• Manage guest lists for all events, including invitations, RSVPs, and attendee communications.

• Own and update action trackers for key events, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.

• Assist with financial tasks such as processing invoices and volunteer expense claims. 

• Manage the inventory and fulfillment of merchandise orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping.

• Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and funding outcomes on our CRM.

About you

Based within easy commuting distance of our office in Westminster, our ideal candidate would have some experience of being a PA and event organisation.

Our client is an astounding group of professionals who believe that people’s sight matters. The prospect research officer will develop and maintain a healthy prospect pipeline in order to provide the philanthropy team with an appropriate number and quality of qualified prospects across individuals, corporate, and trusts and foundations. The officer will produce insightful background research on current and prospective donors using financial, biographical, corporate and philanthropic information from trusted sources and compliance with GPDR and data protection laws. Reporting to the prospect research manager, they will regularly review the prospect research strategy in response to changing internal requirements.

The selected candidate will have experience with and understanding of the principles of philanthropy, fundraising practices, donor motivations and wealth indicators and will have experience of conducting structure background research on HNWIs, company Directors, and/or family Trust and Foundation Boards. This person will also have experience of producing accurate overview research on donors and prospects and will have the ability to help manage systems to support prospect pipeline management.
