This role will play a key part in ensuring Changeworks can continue to deliver a range of projects and services across Scotland. The Fundraising Development Lead will secure income through the identification, development and writing of funding applications.

You will work with the Business Development team and senior managers on the delivery and successful execution of Changeworks’ business development strategy. You will have in-depth fundraising experience with proven expertise in securing funding for projects and services. You will have a track record of securing charitable trust and grant income and experience of managing long term relationships with funders and partners. A knowledge of the retrofit, energy or fuel poverty sectors would be beneficial but not essential.

We provide person centred care and support to our participants within the community, homes, and residential properties. Role Overview: Fundraising and Operations Director

The successful candidate will lead RLS’s income generation through our next phase of development. You’ll oversee our relationships with key funders, individual giving, our approach to major donors and our communications. You’ll work closely with the Management Team and trustees to set and implement fundraising strategy and highlight and manage risk.

As a member of the Management Team, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day leadership and oversight of the organisation, with involvement in decisions from strategy to HR, project design and many other aspects of our work.

Core Responsibilities:

Fundraising strategy and development 

• Lead the development and delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy to meet our funding targets and deliver our strategy.
• Meaningfully involve and guide the Management Team, trustees and Fundraising Officer in strategy development and delivery. 
• Develop new funding sources as appropriate.
• Ensure that funding sources fit with RLS’s values and our moral and ethical fundraising policy.

Organisational leadership 

• Work with the Management Team and trustees to lead on the delivery of RLS’s strategic objectives.
• Work with the Management Team to lead RLS, including finding creative solutions to issues as they arise and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation.
• Foster a supportive work environment that’s true to RLS’s values.

Lead on funder relationships 

• Develop and cultivate relationships with potential funders.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of funding opportunities to meet our targets and fulfil our strategy.

• Work with the Fundraising Officer and CEO to oversee and continue to develop RLS’s website. 
• Organise and deliver events from time-to-time to support the delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy. 

Risk management, reporting and record keeping 

• Ensure that the Management Team and board have an accurate picture of RLS’s financial position, including a clear picture of risk. 
• Oversee accurate records of funder and donor relationships and income through our CRM. 

Representing RLS and occasional travel

• Represent RLS at events from time to time.
• Occasional travel, potentially including international travel. 

Line management 

• Provide high quality line management to the Fundraising Officer.
• In future, there may be other line management responsibilities as RLS’s staff changes to meet our new strategy. 

Person Specification

• Senior leadership experience in income generation 
• Proven success in securing significant, multi-source funding, including trusts and foundations.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

This exciting post will be working with children who have experienced or been affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. Focusing on standard and medium risk cases, this role will provide practical and emotional support to children and young people, whilst working proactively with other professionals, with an emphasis on early intervention and awareness raising.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables. 

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage a caseload of low to high risk children and young people, predominantly through face to face appointments but also utilising virtual technologies and group work.

• Plan, recruit and deliver group work interventions for children and young people alongside colleagues. 

• Complete an initial assessment of the child’s needs so that you can identify and plan the support needed to address issues and prevent any problems from escalating. 

• Assess the needs of the child and devise appropriate support and safety plans with due regard to the dynamic nature of risk. 

• Proactively engage with children and young people affected by DA/SV by providing therapeutic sessions tailed to their needs in where they are in their recovery journey. 

• Risk assess and follow FearFree safety procedures to ensure personal safety and that of service users and other staff at all times. 

• Actively support carers and parents in how to support their CYP affected by trauma. This may include working together to ensure the child is support at every stage in their recovery journey. 

• Respond to emergencies and crises with a focus on the child’s wellbeing and safeguarding. 

• Provide child-centred, trauma responsive support to all your cases taking in considering different learning needs, to empower the young person to make informed choices. 

• Enable service users to participate in the design, delivery and evaluation of services. 

• Keeping the child’s voice central to all support and decision making wherever possible: taking the time to talk through and work with the individual child’s understanding around safeguarding and why we need to share certain things. 

• Act as duty officer, responding to incoming calls, logging referrals and making assigned outgoing calls, according to the duty rota.

• Work effectively within a multi-agency framework, consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse and sexual violence, in order to reduce the risk for service users and their families.

• Be proactive with your line manager to carry out periodic case reviews. 

• Respect and value the diversity of the community in which the services work in, and recognise the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors ensuring the service is accessible to all. 

General

Job description

The Grant Administrator will provide financial support in the form of vouchers for eligible households via telephone and email, using their administrative skills to enter customer details onto databases and process applications. A willingness to undertake routine administrative tasks with accuracy and reliability is essential.

Pay and conditions.

• The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) however we will consider applications from a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• The salary for the role will be £25,938 per year (pro rata for part-time)
• You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

The main purpose of this role is to provide physiotherapy input, as part of a Specialist Multi-disciplinary Team, to patients referred for specialist palliative/end of life care. 

You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of holistic care to patients, their families and carers on the physiotherapy caseload, both in the community and in Hospice settings.  You will support with the delivery of our breathless programme, providing education and exercise to patient groups. You will provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to patients following the HCPC clinical standards of care and CSP professional Codes of Conduct. 

What we are looking for:

· An honours degree level or equivalent in physiotherapy, Healthcare Professions Council (HCPC) registration and membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

· Significant post-graduate experience across a range of physiotherapy specialities.

· A patient-centred and holistic approach with a passion for palliative care.

· Experience in palliative care or transferable skills suited to this specialist field.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· A UK driver’s licence, business insurance cover and access to a car for work purposes is essential to this role.
