About the role 

Breast Cancer Now is looking for a digital product operations manager to ensure our digital platforms remain robust, secure and high performing, enabling us to deliver excellent user experiences to everyone who needs our support.

You’ll play a pivotal role in our digital product operations, overseeing the health and performance of our main website (built on Umbraco CMS) and supporting other digital platforms where needed. Working closely with our managed service providers for hosting and infrastructure, you’ll manage updates, coordinate technical improvements and maintain compliance. Your work will be critical in building strong, reliable foundations for our digital strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented digital team, external agencies and internal stakeholders to keep our platforms healthy, future-ready and delivering impact for people affected by breast cancer.

About you 

You’ll have proven experience managing digital platforms and working with developers, with a strong understanding of CMS platforms, hosting, APIs, security and performance optimisation. Familiarity with technical SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG), analytics tools and release management will be key.

You’ll be a clear and confident communicator who can explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organisation. Strong organisational skills, problem-solving ability and attention to detail are essential, as is a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

You will join a big thriving team in Harrow who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of clinical services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a newly commissioned service and deliver interventions for young people and their families.

What you’ll do 

As a Wellbeing Practitioner you will work in partnership with schools, children and families to assess and respond to the psychological needs of children experiencing social, emotional, mental health or behavioural difficulties through undertaking assessments and providing interventions. You will also: contribute to workshops, support to school staff in the identification of mental health needs of children and accessing appropriate resources; and actively contribute to outcome monitoring and service improvement. You will build relationships with peer/senior members of staff, service users, partners, other services, schools, commissioners, as well as other external agencies with families being the main point of contact. You will also deliver consultation, training, and workshop to non-mental health staff, such as teachers and social workers with other clinicians in the service.

The services offer brief evidence-based individual and group interventions to address moderate wellbeing needs largely using CBT-based treatment, trauma informed and Mentalization approaches. Work is also conducted jointly with existing professionals where young people present with more complex needs to strengthen the skills and competencies in the multi-agency network. The work takes place on an outreach basis in schools, family homes and other community venues (in Harrow) as well as being conducted virtually.

What you’ll bring 
You will have a qualification in psychology or other discipline related to mental health to deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people. This role is suitable for you if have experience of working directly in schools and local communities, and are passionate about delivering high quality evidence-based intervention on a time-limited basis. 

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience of working therapeutically: implementing interventions and using routine outcome measures in therapy with children and young people in community or school settings, including Looked After Children and young people.
• Experience of working cross-culturally: with thoughtful consideration of cultural issues in relation to clinical practice.
• Experience of maintaining appropriate records: with strong awareness of confidentiality, current childcare and safeguarding legislation, policy, and practice.
• Ability to form good working relationships: in a multi-disciplinary setting and work independently where necessary.
• Commitment to engage with supervision: including clinical supervision and line management supervision.

Key details
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.
Salary: £31,200 per annum FTE, plus 6% contributory pension scheme.
Location: Hybrid working (a mixture of onsite and home/remote working). Working onsite for at least 70% of their working hours at Harrow Community sites (e.g. Cedars Children’s Centre, 127 Whittlesea Road, Harrow HA3 6ND) and occasionally at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).

This is a pivotal moment for us organisationally as we seek to drive major change for the communities we work with, from drug policy to criminal justice to infected blood. As Head of Policy & Advocacy, you will:

• Lead bold campaigns that influence government, shift public debate, and secure justice for excluded communities, including those affected by the Infected Blood scandal.

About The Hepatitis C Trust

The Hepatitis C Trust (HCT) work with people who face severe health inequalities, including people who have hepatitis C and other health needs. With almost 500 staff and volunteers, we are the biggest lived experience organisation working in Inclusion Health in the UK. About the Role

The Youth Commons is a really important project, seeking to support young people to build confidence and agency and take more control over their environment. You will ensure a safe and engaging environment for young people aged 11-18. This includes managing the youth team, developing and delivering programs, planning and coordinating activities, and promoting youth participation. You will also handle tasks like budgeting, reporting, and record keeping

You will support young people to actively participate in and influence the development of the Commons as well as contribute to conversations with local and national decision makers. 

No day will be the same, so we are looking for someone with passion and energy to continue this very unique, fulfilling and impactful project.

What you will do…

• Ensure the smooth running of the youth club
• Be the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
• Ensure appropriate staff supervision around reviewing safeguarding, case management and ensure the team are supported in dealing with referral processes
• Continue to develop partnerships with local youth providers including ESCC Youth Team. Represent the Commons in local and wider networks
• Stand up for the interests of young people within the team. Seek ways to include young people directly at all levels, including the board

ROLE OVERVIEW

You will be an exceptional Policy and Public Affairs Manager who will lead your team to achieve the goals detailed in the RLSS UK Strategic Framework 2025-2030. This is a unique opportunity to work on the front line of policy change, collaborating with ministers, government officials and key partners.

This is a strategic, hands-on role suited to someone with a deep commitment to our water safety and drowning prevention priorities together with significant experience of achieving outcomes and impact.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement and deliver the RLSS Policy and Public Affairs Strategy
• Influence UK and Ireland ministers and government officials by engaging them directly to raise awareness of RLSS UK’s vision, mission and purpose and seeking their support in achieving our goals
• Work collaboratively to influence specific legislation, including campaigning around bills, writing amendments, and working with MPs and Peers to promote them within the legislative process.
• Lead the management of the APPG
• Manage stakeholder engagement strategies and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Stakeholder engagement (Parliament): Build and maintain relationships with key policy makers and parliamentarians through face-to-face meetings, providing briefings to MPs and Lords for Parliamentary debates, preparing written/oral questions, and attending Select Committees, APPGs, Parliamentary receptions and other relevant roundtables and events.
• Attendance and representation at meetings which support RLSS UK’s policy and public affairs priorities
• Deliver evidence-based campaigns, including the production of speeches, blogs, reports, and social media content in collaboration with the communications and marketing team.
• Support the Communications and Marketing Team to develop content for the website and other internal and external communications, such as blogs and articles.
• Work with the Communications and marketing team to respond to media and other communication opportunities to promote the RLSS UK work and to contribute to national debate on relevant issues.
• Organise external events and represent RLSS UK at conferences, coalitions, and media opportunities.
• Write clear, compelling consultation responses and policy materials rooted in research, lived experience and case studies.
• Monitor political developments and identify opportunities to influence emerging debates.

• Produce high quality and influential policy briefs, reports, position papers, and responses to consultations, to advocate for changes in policy and practice.
• Lead on the monitoring of policy engagement and impact by using necessary evaluation tools and work with external evaluators as required to capture impact and utilise learning.
• Work with RLSS UK members, people directly impacted by the drowning and other key stakeholders to harness and amplify their expertise and insights.
• Where needed, lead the co-ordination and establishment of member expert groups to inform our policy work.
• Develop opportunities for joint working with researchers / research organisations and manage that partnership work, including the development and co-ordinating the RLSS UK research symposium.
• Work with the RLSS UK team to recommend and secure relevant speakers and presenters for RLSS UK meetings and events.
• Contribute to the general administration and delivery of RLSS UK programmes, events and overall objectives.
• Work with the Director of Income Generation and Engagement to support the development of potential fundraising bids and reporting progress to funders.
• Maintain good working relations with trustees, staff and other stakeholders

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• 5+ years’ experience working in policy and public affairs, preferably in the charity sector.
• Proven ability to build influence with politicians, advisors, and senior stakeholders.

The Role

Main Purpose of Job

The Programme Coordinator – Careers, Events and Pathways is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of large scale employability events and progression initiatives for young people. These include careers fairs, widening and participation events and employer engagement activities designed to open access to real world opportunities. This role will lead events from planning and partner liaison to on-the-ground delivery and post-evaluation reporting.

The coordinator will work with employers, schools, colleges, and local authorities to co-create meaningful pathways for young people, ensuring activities are aligned with labour market needs and tailored to the aspirations of young people we are working with.

The coordinator will take a lead on developing and managing strategic partnerships with employers and external organisations to broker new opportunities and promote progression routes into education, employment or training.

Grounded in youth work values, the coordinator will offer mentoring, support, and guidance to help young people navigate their next steps, overcome barriers, and access the right pathway for their goals.

Responsibilities

Event Planning and programme delivery

• Design, plan and deliver high quality and innovative events and activities for the youth and employability programme offer. Lead on major events such as careers fairs, job fairs, employer panels, and large outreach opportunities, ensuring effective planning, logistics, and execution.
• Ensure all events and activities meet the needs of participants, align with programme and partner objectives, and are delivered to agreed deadlines.
• Lead on event and programme logistics including planning, external bookings and venue hire, facilitators, transport, resources, risk assessment and other associated logistics.
• Provide tailored events and activities for young people from vulnerable, underrepresented and NEET Groups.

• Deliver presentations, sessions and other events (e.g. assemblies, PSHE lessons, lunch time stalls, workshops, job fair) to primary and secondary schools, non-mainstream schools, colleges, and other organisations to engage young people.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including existing partners (e.g Worley, UK Youth), local professional organisations, schools and colleges, local authorities, and future key stakeholders as they come onboard.

• Work in partnership with stakeholders to co-design and deliver events, promote programme opportunities, recruit participants, and support youth progression.
• Seek out new opportunities in relation to employment and training to support young people progress on to positive pathways. Work with stakeholders to develop new initiatives and collaborative projects.

Youth Engagement and support

• Lead cohorts of young people through events and programmes. Supervise, take responsibility for the pastoral care, and ensure safety needs of the young people are always met.
• Engage and build positive relationships with young people to provide effective support, mentoring and coaching on a one-to-one and group basis where needed.
• Develop, implement, and lead on recruitment and engagement strategies to recruit and retain young people for events.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Record and monitor programme, partner and participant data using the relevant CRM systems ensuring all data is kept up to date.
• Ensure all administration tasks are completed accurately and within allocated time scales including handling personal data, managing expenses, safeguarding reporting, and risk assessments.
• Achieve weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Senior Manager, or partner organisation/ funder and regularly provide reports and monitoring information.

Leadership and Team Collaboration

• Lead and support casual staff to deliver high quality programmes, providing regular feedback and embedding reflective practice.
• Support the Senior Manager in recruitment, training, and supervision of casual delivery staff.
• Attend regular supervision sessions, team & organisation meetings, and complete compulsory training to enable all duties to be carried out effectively.
• Deputise for the Senior Manager when appropriate. Fulfil any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the Senior Manager
• Work closely with the Senior Manager, Coordinators, Youth Workers, Coaches and programme partners to support the young people on the programmes ensuring a united approach.

Qualifications and experience

1. Graduate degree level and or/ IAG Level 2 / Event Management and/or strong relevant experience (youth work, educational, community based, events, careers).
2. Demonstrable experience (at least 2 years) of working with young people and children to inspire, motivate and support them to positively engage in new opportunities and develop new skills.
3. Experience of leading, planning and delivering high-quality events and programmes for large groups (50/100+).

Counterpoints Arts produces a range of programmes in the UK and internationally, including Refugee Week, PopChange and Platforma festivals. As the breadth of our collaborations and variety of events continues to grow, we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Producer to enhance our brand and programme visibility, helping us to engage new audiences and grow our reach. This is a newly created role offering an exciting opportunity to shape our strategy in this area and manage our communications and marketing activities.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with strong creativity and communication skills, an imaginative approach and experience growing an audience base and working across a variety of platforms.
