The Supporter Relationship Manager is responsible for all individual donor support processes, systems, strategies and individual giving fundraising appeals, which ensure we have excellent relationships with our donors to retain and grow our individual giving income.

Powerful narratives, storytelling and engagement with donors is crucial to ensure that our funding need and impact is shared with supporters. 

The Supporter Relationship Manager will work with the Head of Fundraising and Deputy CEO to grow our major donor, regular giving, appeal and legacy income alongside sustaining our irregular giving and Gift Aid income.  The Supporter Relationship Manager will line manage the Fundraising Assistant (FA), which is a new entry-level fundraising role responsible for the development and day-to-day administration of our community fundraising income stream for individuals and our corporate community.

Person Specification Essential knowledge, skills and experience:

• Three years+ experience of working in a supporter care fundraising role.
• Understanding of fundraising principles, relationship marketing and supporter care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level copy writing skills.
• Experience of working with communications staff to support multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.Well-organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and targets.
• Good working knowledge of CRM databases and how to use them to steward supporters.
• Good knowledge of current data protection/GDPR regulation.
• Able to develop, initiate and maintain systems and procedures.
• IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel to sort and segment supporter data.
• A clear commitment to the ethos and strategic plans of FareShare South West, and able to positively contribute towards its achievement.

Role Overview
The Partnerships and Development Manager role will support delivery on Nest Insight's fundraising strategy and help develop and maintain our funding partnerships, working closely with a supportive and collaborative team.

A Birmingham-based housing association is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join their People team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will lead a small team of two and provide strategic guidance across all areas of employee relations. You will be responsible for managing complex casework, supporting and coaching managers, developing policies, and driving a positive, fair and inclusive workplace culture. Acting as a key escalation point for high-risk cases, you will help safeguard the organisation against legal and reputational risks while promoting proactive employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the ER Advisory team, managing complex cases including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and redundancies
• Act as a senior escalation point for high-risk ER issues and tribunal claims
• Provide strategic advice and coaching to managers and senior leaders on employee relations matters
• Develop and implement ER policies and ensure legal compliance and best practice
• Analyse ER data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for proactive interventions
• Design and deliver training for managers on ER topics and early intervention strategies

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year-round night shelter provision. 

APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support. 

This role will require a keen interest in homelessness and the devastating impact this can have on people. This is a new role which would suit someone with experience of recruiting and managing volunteers. The role will entail expanding our volunteer base, developing processes and procedures to effectively support them and managing them on site. The role will report to the Senior Project Worker.

Legacy and In Memory Manager

This role will oversee the administration of legacies, drive the growth of the charity’s Free Wills programme, steward legacy pledgers, and expand in memory fundraising. The Legacy and In Memory Manager will also ensure supporter journeys, audience insight and effective targeting are at the heart of the charity’s programme, working with the Individual Giving and Development Lead to create impactful marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.

The post holder will raise awareness of the importance and impact of gifts in wills and in memory giving to a wider audience, both internally and externally, ensuring these vital income streams are embraced at all levels of the organisation.

Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.

Turn2us and its partners have secured £1.5 million from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an ambitious and innovative new programme that will support charities in England and Scotland to empower diverse and marginalised communities to respond to climate change and to get their voices heard in environmental policy and media debates.It will focus on Disabled people, those facing financial insecurity and people from ethnic minority communities. These voices are often the least heard from in national and local debates on our environment. This new work aims to change that.

As part of this programme, The National Lottery Community Fund have funded the creation of an Engagement Manager post at Turn2us to work with those facing financial insecurity. The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:

• Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities 
• Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
• Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
• Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
• Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers

They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities. 

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month on a weekly basis.

Linden Road in Redbourn supports 2 gentlemen living in their own bungalows with everyday life skills. The service provides a 24/7 support service, with an emphasis on choice and control, enabling customers to achieve greater independence, improved quality of life and integration into the wider community.
We are looking some someone who is able to build supportive, trusting relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere.

As a Community Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering and integrating our Community Support Volunteer service. You'll work closely with volunteers, health and social care professionals, and local partners to ensure people living with and affected by MND receive high-quality, accessible, and inclusive support.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Community Support Co-ordinator, you will:

• Lead a team of Community Support Volunteers, recruiting, supporting, and developing them to provide a high-quality service.
• Ensure that support is needs-led, inclusive, and enables personal choice and control.

• Offer guidance and support to volunteers handling difficult support issues.

• Respond to enquiries and referrals, providing relevant information and signposting to appropriate services.
• Build strong relationships with care centres, networks, and local partners to integrate community support effectively.
• Support and develop volunteer branches and groups, ensuring they meet local needs and follow organisational policies.
• Support fundraising, campaigning, and awareness activities alongside colleagues.

• Experience leading, managing, or coordinating volunteers, ideally in a not-for-profit setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• The ability to assess and respond to support needs in a person-centred way.
• Knowledge of care and support services across different sectors.
• Experience working with individuals at risk of harm and their families.
• An understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
• The ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals and partner organisations.
• A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practices.
• The ability to prioritise tasks, plan effectively, and make autonomous decisions.
• Proficiency in using IT systems and applications.
• Flexibility to work outside standard hours when required.
• A full driving licence.
