Mind in Croydon is a charity concerned with the welfare of people with mental health problems living in the London Borough of Croydon and the surrounding areas. Mind in Croydon delivers Mental Health Transformation Program services alongside Croydon BME Forum, these include Croydon Health and Wellbeing Space and Mental Health Personal Independence Coordinators. Other services include Recovery Space, Advocacy, Active Minds, Carers Support, In-Reach Peer Support, Social Networking, Therapeutic Service and an Information Service.

Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a Peer Support Worker who has personal lived experience of mental health challenges. This individual will act as a role model for service users, utilizing their own recovery journey to instil hope and resilience. By sharing their life experiences and the lessons learned throughout their recovery, they will motivate others.

The Peer Support Worker will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within the Unit, assisting in-patients in developing essential skills and coping mechanisms, while promoting overall wellness through strength based and non-directive conversations. They will provide both practical and emotional support, facilitate access to community resources to help individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing.

Additionally, this role includes supporting service users after discharge in the community for up to 12 weeks, aiding them in fostering independence within their local community, connecting with various agencies, enhancing life skills, providing guidance related to employment or educational opportunities and improving their ability to manage challenges effectively to prevent re-admission.

This position requires building connections with service users through shared experiences of mental health challenges, making lived experience a crucial requirement for applicants.

You will join the wider Peer Support In-Reach Service alongside 7 other peers who will work in various Rehab wards across South London but primarily work in a well-supported In-Patient Unit with the MDT at Westways Rehab Unit, Alexandra House, First Floor, Bethlem Royal Hospital, Monks Orchard Road, Beckenham, BR3 3BX.

The ward is for people, aged 18-65, who have severe mental illness. We provide 24-hour rehabilitation, treatment and care for people who live in the London Borough of Croydon.

Our service is for people who would benefit from six months to two years rehabilitation. We help people to maintain their health and move towards greater independence in the community.

● To support the Custom House and Canning Town community to grow and develop, working with them to build their sense of belonging, community pride and spirit. 

● To listen to local people, to support them to develop power to act together for the common good and help them act on the local issues that are important to them.

● Contribute to developing PEACH's collective power as a Community Union in collaboration with members, Steering Group, Trustees/Directors, and fellow staff members. Oversee the execution of this strategy.

ShareAction’s Financial Sector Research team works towards holding financial institutions accountable for their impact on globally important challenges such as tackling climate change, upholding human rights and reversing biodiversity loss.

Asset managers, insurance companies and banks hold a huge amount of influence over the world’s largest companies through their investment, lending and underwriting activities. While many of these financial institutions publicly claim to be taking environmental and social issues seriously, often, these claims do not hold up to scrutiny.

In this role, you will have many opportunities to challenge the financial sector by contributing to:

• Our financial sector benchmarks. In the first 12 months, you would primarily be working on our 2026 benchmark of some of the world’s largest insurance companies (following our 2024 report). Our research also covers asset managers and banks.
• Coordination with civil society allies and developing new collaborations with leading global NGOs.
• Engagement with financial institutions, regulators, and industry bodies to provide detailed recommendations for improvement.
• Communication of our research findings externally, for example, on webinars.

Working alongside the rest of the Financial Sector Research team, you will contribute to ShareAction’s key reports ranking financial institutions. This involves collecting information from institutions and databases, analysing quantitative and qualitative data, producing engaging graphics to communicate results and translating this analysis into actionable steps for financial institutions to take. You will collaborate with teams across ShareAction and may join meetings with financial institutions, other NGOs, or regulators to discuss this research. About the role

The Data Analyst works within the Data Team, using and transforming data from multiple sources to produce high quality, digestible reports, dashboards, and bespoke pieces of analysis for our fundraising and alumni colleagues.  You will also lead on any benchmarking projects, both the submission of data and the interpretation and presentation of their findings.  Being a clear communicator of often complex information, you will deliver insight into the performance of our various fundraising and engagement programmes, giving colleagues the information they need to continually innovate and improve.

In addition, you will have a raft of technical skills and approaches that will enable you to efficiently transform source data from multiple data sources ready for import into our Dynamics CRM system.

You will be keen to learn and develop, embracing new technologies and ways of working, and will work with the Data Team and others across the department to improve the quality of the underlying data we all rely on.  You will also work closely with others in the team, IT colleagues and other users across the organisation to shape future CRM features.

You will be required to liaise and work collaboratively with other teams on new fundraising projects and initiatives, thereby ensuring a joined-up approach, that future reporting requirements can be met, with learning shared and insight retained.  You will often need to manage multiple requests and prioritise your workload, albeit we have adopted an Agile approach to development. 

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract. P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

The role

Age UK Lambeth provides a busy, in-demand helpline to all new callers to Lambeth Adult Social Care. The helpline provides a triage service, dealing with enquiries, providing individuals the opportunity to discuss their issues and be provided with advice, information and guidance and potentially signposted to a range of services to provide them with support. Where appropriate, referrals are made to ASC for an assessment. 

Call operation times will be Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm, excluding bank holidays.

The service works closely with Lambeth Adult Social Care and we have a base working alongside them at the Civic Centre in Brixton. Staff work hybridly, with the opportunity to work from home at least two days per week.

1. The Helpline Worker will answer Lambeth Adult Social Care’s telephone line where the caller has selected a new caller to the service. 

2. Answer a range of queries and offer reassurance to all callers.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assisted Information Officer to join us in delivering our comprehensive front line HIV and sexual health helpline service. You will need to have excellent communication and support skills, be able to deal with sensitive and challenging issues and be quick to learn new information. Ideally you will have experience of providing information and support through a variety of channels including the telephone, email and live chat and have a good knowledge of HIV and sexual health issues.

Working alongside other Assisted Information Officers, volunteers and Generalist Advisors you will be  providing information, advice, emotional support, referral and signposting. About the Role

The Legal Officer will be an integral part of the UK Litigation team and will work closely with external legal teams to advance our cases and ensure coordination of legal actions in line with Reprieve’s strategic goals. They will be responsible for administration and maintenance of casefiles and key case management documents and assume certain day-to-day file management responsibilities. Length and Salary

This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £42,193 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. 

This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audience Insight Researcher to join the Audience Insight team at Alzheimer's Society on a fixed-term contract. We are looking for an exceptional individual with proven experience in designing, conducting, and delivering qualitative and quantitative ad hoc primary research projects. The focus of this role is on producing clear, insight-led recommendations that support teams across the organisation in making evidence-based decisions.
The Audience Insight team operates as a hybrid internal agency and consultancy, leading transformative market research that shapes strategic direction. Our work spans a wide range of audiences, including supporters, service users and the public, and includes both primary research and analysis of secondary data sources. We also partner with trusted external agencies on key large-scale research initiatives.
All our projects are insight-driven and strategically aligned, providing high-quality consultation rooted in a deep understanding of the needs and priorities of internal stakeholders.
You will:

- Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative market research projects.

- Project manage throughout the project lifecycle.
- Determine the appropriate methodology to meet the project objectives, budget & deadlines.
- Design questionnaires and discussion guides.
- Conduct qualitative interviews and moderate group discussions.
- Programme surveys to be conducted with supporters.

- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data.
- Lead on the evaluation of data from market research tracking projects.
- Write reports that provide insight and actionable recommendations.
- Present to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues on the Audience Insight team to deliver market research and reporting excellence.
- Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Build relationships with and manage external partners.
- Manage ongoing MR projects.
- Ensure market research conforms with all GDPR, compliance and information governance, as well as the MRS Code of Conduct.

About You
You are:

- Passionate about championing the diverse needs of people affected by dementia.
- Proficient in designing, conducting, and analysing both qualitative and quantitative market research.
- An experienced qualitative moderator, confident in facilitating engaging discussions.
- Skilled at producing insightful, story-led reports that communicate findings.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, with a meticulous approach to your work
- Proficient in the MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Experienced in survey programming tools (e.g., Forsta, SmartSurveys) – desirable.
- Knowledgeable about the MRS Code of Conduct, GDPR, and data protection regulations.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive working environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop.
