Working in the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) community is the mainstay of our current activity, and whilst your credibility and our work in this area will remain important to us in our shared future, we’re looking to appoint an inspiring and commercially savvy Programme Lead who will bring experience of working across wider, often complex systems and sectors within social care, education, health, and locality based supports, to expand our work and impact in new ways. Your experience and specialist knowledge could include Autism, Looked After Children, Young Offenders, Mental Health, and Wellbeing.
As a member of our Leadership & Strategy group, the Programme Lead will be responsible for resource planning, providing direction and great support to our colleagues, ensuring that the work NDTi delivers is consistently of high quality, and that the activities and achievements of the team contribute towards the strategic direction and priorities of the wider organisation.
With well-developed commercial and sector expertise, you will be a skilled and sensitive communicator with excellent planning and strategic development skills. You will need to demonstrate that you can influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels and be able to respond effectively to changing political and legislative opportunities and challenges, and achieve the funding and income needed to build our Children and Young People programme. You will need to demonstrate that you have the sector knowledge and skills to offer leadership to the programme team in turning ideas into commissioned or funded projects.

The Role

The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment.
They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.
English fluency is a must.

Terms and conditions and staff benefits
This role is as maternity cover (9 months with possibility of extension).
This is a full time 5 day (35 hour) a week position, but we are open to a conversation with candidates who are seeking a role of 28-35 hours a week.
There will be some freedom for the person to determine their own working arrangements each week, within limitations, providing the work is delivered.

The Role
The PR Manager plays a central role, working closely with the Head of Media to manage the public relations function of the charity. You will be responsible for helping to develop and execute prominent and high impact national and regional media campaigns, to help people better understand the mission and take action to support it.
Your main duties and responsibilities include:
· Generate regular, positive, proactive media coverage
· Proactively sell stories into the media as well as react to incoming enquiries
· Work with the Head of Media to develop impactful press strategies in line with the wider PR strategy
· Take a proactive approach to gathering NHS staff, member and supporter case studies

The role is a hybrid of office and home working, requiring occasional meetings at the Warwick office. The team also meets in London but this is flexible, depending on the location of the successful candidate.
About You
You will have experience working in public relations. You will have experience of leading successful PR media relations strategies, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be creative and passionate about delivering impactful work, with a proven ability to be highly organised and manage your own workload.

Working Arrangements and Travel Requirements
Rainforest Trust UK staff work remotely and you will be expected to work primarily from home with an excellent internet connection. You may be based anywhere in the UK but you will be expected to work from a shared team space in London once a month, and your donor meetings/events are most likely to take place there.
The postholder will be required to host networking events and attend some online meetings with our partners in the U.S so some (early) evening working is required. We are also flexible as to how many hours this postholder works, and will consider a 3-5 day per week arrangement, depending on experience.
