JOB PURPOSE
As part of the Brand and Marketing team, the Social Media Officer will lead on social media strategy for the organization, working closely with teams across Magic Breakfast to develop and diversify our presence on social media. Through innovative, compelling content creation the Social Media Officer will raise awareness of our work and the Magic Breakfast brand. With a high level of existing press interest in our work and campaigns (including our flagship Dry January® campaign), this is an exciting moment as we look to develop our proactive media engagement and share reframed stories about alcohol which resonate with a huge audience. Your work will drive significant awareness of our organisation, and ultimately enable millions of people to transform their relationship with alcohol.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Media engagement

Manage the organisation’s media inbox and phone line, handling enquiries from journalists and providing responses in a timely manner

Provide regular out of hours media cover on a rota basis (scaling depending on busier campaign periods, shared fairly with others and TOIL provided for hours worked)

The Social Media Manager is an integral role within the Marketing team at CoppaFeel! and will play an essential part in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. The Opportunity
We are seeking a Partnerships Manager to join our team. 1. Writing and submitting applications for new funding to statutory bodies, trusts, foundations and corporates.
2. Researching funding opportunities, competitors and market trends.
3. Developing and maintaining an annual calendar of community fundraising activities.
4. Identifying new business development opportunities and developing a pipeline of opportunities and proposals.
5. Management and growth of Inspire's entry to mid-level corporate partnerships.
6. Working with delivery team colleagues to ensure funders’ reports are completed on time and to a high standard.

We are delighted to be partnered once again with the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, who raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. They ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. They are seeking a passionate Social Media and Content Officer to join their ambitious team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting on the planning and delivery of organic social media campaigns across all aspects of the charity’s work
- Working with the digital team to create campaigns and communication plans across all channels and aligning with paid activity, email communications and blogs to create a multichannel approach
- Supporting busy content calendars and managing email production schedules

What's on offer:
