This role will mean having to deal with challenging members of the public, there will always be moderators to ensure the people taking part in the live session remain respectful but there may be the need to respectfully challenge people's opinions in an attempt to educate.

The role
- Host 2 monthly episodes (30 minutes) featuring changemakers, innovators, thought leaders, experts, in the field of climate and sustainability - organisations and individuals from civil society, academia, governments and businesses.
- Research potential guests across key sustainability sectors covering climate education, climate action, climate solutions, finance, environment and natural resources, social justice and more.
- Prepare and conduct research-based, engaging interviews.
- Send personalised guest invitations in liaison with the production team.
- Edit your episodes and storyboard in line with the episodes' narrative.
- Help share and promote episodes through all online platforms.

JOB SUMMARY:
Join our team as a Volunteer Events & Community Fundraising Officer, working alongside the Fundraising Manager to develop and expand our community engagement and events portfolio. Play a pivotal role in creating innovative fundraising products, fostering relationships within our local communities, and supporting key fundraising initiatives to drive income growth and supporter engagement.
ROLE & RESPONSBILITIES

Collaborate with the Fundraising Manager to design and implement community and events strategies, including the development of new fundraising products and campaigns.

Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with local schools, community groups, corporate partners, and individual fundraisers to generate new income streams.

Develop engaging supporter journeys to inspire memorable experiences, encourage repeat contributions, and deepen supporter loyalty.

Join us as part of our Communications team to help deliver powerful content for our internal & external communications strategy. You will be working alongside the Communications Manager & Communications Officer to develop our digital content & increase our presence on social media platforms. Provide creative support for enhancing donor prospects, generating demand & increasing engagement through compelling narratives to support EAU projects & fundraising initiatives.
