Our mission is to bring hope and positive change to children and families.  To achieve this we deliver a range of services.  The Catholic Children’s Society (CCS) is one of the largest providers of mental health services to schools in London.  Currently we have over 50 counsellors/therapists working on-site in approximately 70 schools (both Catholic non-Catholic).  We also provide high quality early years education and family support, including offering emergency assistance for families in crisis.

About you

About the role

As Senior Policy Officer you will be part of the Patient Advocacy team who work to ensure that the patient voice is heard and acted upon by UK and devolved nations healthcare policy decision makers. You will represent the charity externally including national meetings with senior healthcare decision makers.

Your role is vital to developing strategic approaches to health technology appraisals (HTA), regulatory pathways (MHRA), clinical development programmes (academic and industry clinical trials) and commissioning routes to broaden access to new myeloma drug therapies and diagnostic technologies.

You will apply your skills flexibly across key policy areas including access to treatment, patient voice, stakeholder engagement and general healthcare policy and work with colleagues in communications and fundraising to make sure our supporters and the wider myeloma community understand the positive impact we make.

ActionAid is looking for an experienced high value relationship expert to join the Trusts and Global Markets team as Head of Trusts and Global Markets. The role is crucial to the strategic direction of this area, part of the high value philanthropy and partnerships team at ActionAid UK. We’re looking for someone with strong experience of developing and running a high-end Trusts partnerships programme, with proven experience of building and maintaining relationships with Trusts or other major sources of income such as HNWI/corporates that has resulted in significant gifts and a proven ability to hit financial targets. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading, inspiring and developing teams, through periods of organisational change and uncertainty. The post holder will need to be an excellent networker, innovative, creative and be confident in influencing for results. You will be empowered to represent ActionAid and to take decisions quickly. You’ll be joining a high performing collaborative team, at a really exciting time for the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining relationships with key trust and foundation donors
Developing fundraising strategies to secure funding for our programs and projects
Managing our diverse global investment portfolio to achieve financial growth and stability
Monitoring and evaluating the performance of our investments and adjusting strategies as needed
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in finance, fundraising, or investment management, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A solid understanding of trusts, foundations, and global markets is also essential.

Trusts Officer.

Salary: £26,000 per annum.

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to London office)

We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrable experience of securing four and five figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations. 

How you'll help to create brighter futures  

• Work collaboratively and support the team to implement activities to deliver the Trust team’s financial aims with a responsibility for delivering an annual income target, focusing on securing four and five figure donations from charitable trusts and foundations.
• Initiate and develop long-term relationships with trusts and foundations.
• Develop and implement individual solicitation and stewardship plans for existing trusts and new prospects.
• Contribute to a communication and stewardship programme.
• Collaborate with fundraising colleagues to track and report on prospecting activities.
• Take responsibility for ensuring that fundraising partnerships with charitable trusts and foundations achieve their maximum potential. 
• Work with the Philanthropy, Trusts, and Prospect Development Managers to identify new prospects.

What is a Portfolio Delivery Test Lead?

As Portfolio Delivery Test Lead (a new role to MSIUK) you will oversee testing and lead the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for all new MSI UK system deployments, responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing UAT to ensure that the solution meets business requirements and is ready for deployment.

You will work closely with the Project Managers, Products team, Business Intelligence team, Digital, IT teams, Governance, Contact Centre, Clinical colleagues and Operations, Clinical Safety, UK Learning & Development team, Global Information Services and all colleagues across the business

The objective of this role is to ensure any DDaT deployment to the business is fit for purpose, fully tested and accepted by the business to improve the client journey with MSI UK, on small pathway changes to larger projects alongside process improvements to enhance the client experience and overall business.  The role will support other teams in DDaT such as test and release or regression testing with the Product team.

We are seeking a Political Adviser to join our Politics Team at this crucial time for accelerating the shift away from oil and gas. Uplift is a campaigning and research organisation helping to move the UK towards a fossil fuel-free future and to support a just transition away from fossil fuel production. 

The role

As one of Uplift’s Political Advisers, you will play a central role in building political support for the UK’s transition away from oil and gas extraction. Your role will sit within Uplift’s Politics Team, and will involve working closely within networks across Westminster. You will be a skilled communicator able to support the implementation of Uplift's political strategy, and use your initiative and political instincts to further the political debate on phasing out fossil fuels.
