About the role
A key role leading the risk, performance and legal functions within Frontline AIDS. The role embeds a risk management approach across all organisation functions, ensures best practice in compliance, contractual management and data protection. Works closely with others to ensure consistent and effective programme delivery practice. The role spearheads business continuity planning and security management.

Are you the Frontliner we’re looking for?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Qualified to degree level in a relevant field to risk management and compliance.
- Post-graduate and/or professional qualification in a relevant field, including accounting, law, audit, or risk
- Extensive experience of working in a risk management/compliance/assurance function within a sizeable organisation, with strategic and operational accountability.
- Experience of managing and maintaining a risk case management system to ensure appropriate management of issues.
- Experience in developing and managing programme oversight and governance mechanisms that drive consistent approaches and strong performance.
- Experience of rolling out dedicated risk management and compliance training and supporting and guiding staff in developing risk registers and appropriate mitigating actions for risks.
- Experience of contract review and drafting of new clauses for contracts
- Experience of working with international donor rules and requirements and supporting/guiding project teams in managing projects in accordance with these rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of best practice in process review and improvement.
- Senior Experience in setting, reviewing, simplifying organisational policies and procedures and encouraging compliance.

Principle Responsibilities

This role will lead and deliver two projects, the Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Young Adult Voices Project, and the General Synod Young Voices project, across which it will engage with a wide variety of young people.
The Net Zero Carbon Young Adult Voices project recognises that action to tackle climate change, as part of the wider environmental crisis, is important for young people, and responds to the fact that the NZC programme is not currently strategically engaging with these groups.
This project will involve:
- gathering the voices of young adults (18-30) to enable them to influence the direction of the programme and the Church's wider Environment Programme, ensuring their voice is heard at all levels of the Programme, and informs decision-making.
- communicating what the NZC programme is doing, to raise awareness amongst young people of the CofE's commitment to being a NZC church with these audiences, and to enable pathways for them to become involved in decarbonisation and other environmental projects at the local level.
- work with diocesan colleagues to enable the voices of young people to exercise leadership influence on NZC at a Diocesan level, as appropriate.
Important to the success of this role will be engaging with departments and stakeholders across the Church of England, to ensure this work sits within the broader context of the priority to be a church which is younger and more diverse.
As this is a new project and a new role, the postholder will help to shape the role. The initial focus will be to develop a NZC Young Adult Voices Strategy and Plan for sign-off by the NZC Programme Board, and then to work through delivery of this. This will need to consider the theology, mission and action that will engage and connect with young people - particularly exploring how we root this work in the spirituality and theology that is relevant for a younger audience.
The General Synod Young Voices project follows two motions passed at General Synod (in July 2024 and February 2025) committing General Synod to listening and responding to the voices of children, young people and young adults in every subsequent session. This project involves gathering the voices through schools, churches and Dioceses and enabling children and young people to speak and present each session at General Synod. In addition, it involves working with a group of young adults drawn from every diocese to run a programme of faith and leadership development that enables them to speak into General Synod at a national level, and exercise leadership influence at a Diocesan level as appropriate.
This is a fixed-term role until December 2028, with potential to extend, dependent on 29-31 Triennium Funding.
Responsibilities
Leading the General Synod Young Voices project
Developing robust processes and strategies for gathering the voices of children, young people and young adults
Overseeing the engagement of children, young people and young adults at forthcoming General Synod sessions, supporting them to contribute regularly and effectively in a range of agenda items

Leading the NZC Young Adult Voices Project
Develop and deliver NZC Young Adult Voices Strategy and Plan which includes:

Overseeing the engagement of young adults with NZC Programme board meetings, supporting them to contribute regularly and effectively in a range of agenda items.

Create mechanisms to report back the work of the NZC programme to young adults, including developing an effective communications and engagement approach which responds to their needs, with the NZC Comms Lead.

Work with the NZC Programme Director, NZC Programme Manager and the National Environmental Policy Officer to progress this project, and more broadly with the NZC Programme Workstream leads across the NCIs
Support the NZC Programme Team in its communications and reporting work to General Synod and other key bodies from time to time (e.g. Archbishops' Council, Church Commissioners Board of Trustees)
Working effectively with environment programme networks in dioceses
Work with the NZC Comms Lead to effectively disseminate case studies, resources and tools through wider networks and social media
Both:
- Modelling and implementing the highest standards of safeguarding in every aspect of the work, working with other safeguarding leads with NSE, National Safeguarding Team and external stakeholders' safeguarding provision
- Encouraging leaders in dioceses to adopt similar strategies for prioritising the voices of Children and Young People, through liaison with children and youth advisors and DBE teams

As education quality assurance service officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of World Physiotherapy’s education quality assurance services, including programme accreditation and CPD recognition.
You will be one of the key points of contact for World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and continuing professional development (CPD) recognition. The position is instrumental in assisting the smooth running of World Physiotherapy education quality assurance services and supporting the work of the Head of membership, education and development, and other staff working on the education portfolio.
You will use your experience, initiative, confidence, project and organisational skills to support effective implementation of the education quality assurance services. You will support and coordinate activities and administrative tasks for the full review cycle. These include managing inquiries, processing applications, distributing materials to reviewers, organising site visits, supporting the review and reporting process, preparing documentation for committee approval, and communication with applicants about the results of the review. This will require close liaison with staff, member organisations, reviewers, board/committee members, and external stakeholders.

Duties and key responsibilities
Education quality assurance service administration
- Act as a primary point of contact for all inquiries related to education quality assurance services including physiotherapist entry level programme accreditation and CPD recognition services.
- Manage the full application process, including intake, tracking, communication with applicants, assigning reviewers, and ensuring all required documentation is complete.
- Manage the annual reporting process
- Coordinate the distribution of applications and supporting materials to reviewers, ensuring timelines and procedures are followed.
- Organise and support site visits, including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and communication with applicants and reviewers.
- Support reviewers throughout the evaluation process, including preparing materials, responding to questions, and ensuring adherence to governance requirements.
- Provide administrative support to reviewers in preparation of documentation for internal and committee consideration.
- Organise accreditation committee meetings.
- Prepare materials for committee approval and minutes of the committee meetings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organisational standards.
- Communicate to applicants the final outcome of the quality assurance process and issue certificates

Work with relevant staff to ensure that activities are set up on Teamwork® or other project management software and support their ongoing management.
Support communications activities:
- ensuring that lists of accredited programmes and approved CPD are up to date
- providing information to promote uptake of quality assurance services
- editing and formatting education quality assurance documents for house style
Liaise with different stakeholders including member organisations, regions, specialty groups and networks if necessary and as required by the Head of membership, education and development and other staff.
Maintain office systems and procedures, including data management and reporting.
Promote the image of World Physiotherapy in all activities and contribute to the overall development of the organisation undertaking any reasonable duties, as required and agreed, to support the work of World Physiotherapy.
Person specification
The education quality assurance service officer must have experience in supporting quality assurance management and administration. They must be highly organised, self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative in managing complex and competing demands from different sources.
It is expected that the individual will have a relevant degree, or equivalent professional experience in quality assurance, education administration, project coordination, or related field. Experience of working with senior staff, academics and boards/committees is essential. Experience working with reviewers, review boards or academic/quality assurance processes is an asset.
The individual must have a legal right to work in the UK.

Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.

The Role
Children’s online safety is both an important and an urgent issue and the need for our unique work here at Breck Foundation is greater now than ever. The primary purpose of this role is to help children and young people take practical steps to become more digitally resilient and be safer online. Our East of England Education Programme Officer will introduce the highly impactful Breck’s story into schools and other youth and community spaces and deliver inspiring, educational talks to students, parents and guardians, teachers and other groups in a ‘whole community’ approach.
The role is fully remote, but post holder will be willing and able to easily travel to various locations within the East of England as and when necessary to fulfil the requirements of the role as well as to engage with colleagues virtually and in person in London four times a year.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Programme Delivery
- Coordinate all practical arrangements necessary for successful delivery and post-delivery activities in schools, including the timely transmission of digital files; and liaising with relevant colleagues to ensure timely delivery of materials and promotional merchandise to schools.
- Responsibility for delivering sessions tailored to educate/inform children/parents and teachers as well as carrying out all pre- and post-delivery engagements.

We have grown rapidly in our first four years, with a growing team of nearly 40 across the country. 2026 will be a year of further growth and milestones for the charity as we celebrate our fifth-year anniversary and expand into our third and fourth regions. This will involve recruiting for a new teams, establishing our programmes and beginning to co-design and implement our work in partnership with communities.
