Keep Britain Tidy is one of the UK’s leading environmental charities. At a time when we are living in a world that is facing its greatest environmental challenges, the work we do has never been more important or more urgent. That is why we strive to deliver change through setting standards and measure these through a series of accreditations, including Green Key.

Green Key is a leading standard of excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism industry. This prestigious international eco-label represents a commitment by businesses that their establishment adheres to the strict criteria as stipulated by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring individual to join our Accreditation Team to grow, manage and coordinate the Green Key programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark expanding the  eco-label in England. The role will engage with clients throughout the hospitality sector to ensure establishments adopt the standard, become accredited and promote their sustainable credentials.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent project management skills
  • A track record of delivering sales targets
  • The ability to communicate and build relationships with high profile businesses
  • Experience of the hospitality sector and associated environmental issues

Environmental change is affecting us all and we want people from all backgrounds to be part of the solution and help us make the changes that cannot wait. It is for this reason that Keep Britain Tidy has flexible and supportive policies for all our staff, and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. We also recognise that a diverse workforce yields the best results.  We embrace all the different identities in the UK and we want our workforce to reflect that.

All our roles benefit from generous holiday entitlement and pension contributions, including the opportunity to join the UK’s first net zero carbon pension scheme and to receive extra days leave for using alternatives to flights.

If you need any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process, you just need to let us know.
