About this role: This is an exciting opportunity to join Rotherham United Community Trust’s Executive Team and lead the ‘Strengthen and Grow’ theme within the Trust’s United for Change strategy. The Director of Development will drive sustainable growth by strengthening programmes, increasing income, developing strategic partnerships and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Duties and Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role
The Director of External Affairs and Growth is an SLT role responsible for leveraging the voice and power of the eoa's network to influence and accelerate the growth of the employee owned sector.
The role leads the eoa’s external affairs, policy and insights, marcomms and events, shaping the external environment for employee ownership and securing the funding and commercial income needed to support sustainable sector growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead external affairs strategy, building the relationships and influence needed to shape policy, remove barriers and expand EO.

Brief role description
The young people programme supports young people from Forces families aged 16 to 24, particularly those who are disadvantaged, affected by mobility, at risk of becoming NEET or who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). The programme aims to broaden horizons, raise aspirations and build skills and confidence. It connects young people with meaningful employment opportunities through a combination of one-to-one mentoring and employment support, group workshops, employer events, digital training, work experience and apprenticeships.
As part of a small team, the Education and Skills Liaison will lead on engaging, developing and managing relationships with schools, youth and community groups, military charities, the MOD Education Team, the SCiP Alliance, Families Federations, HIVE and other key stakeholders to advocate for children and young people from Forces families.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for someone with a background in education and/or experience supporting young people to overcome challenges. You will have experience in a customer-focused environment and a track record of delivering to SLAs. You will also be a strong collaborator and team player, with demonstrable influencing skills and coaching or mentoring experience.
You will be a self-starter with confidence to use your own initiative and a passion for supporting the Armed Forces community. You will have an understanding of the challenges faced by forces families in finding appropriate and sustainable employment. In addition, you will have strong operational and administrative skills, knowledge of GDPR and experience using CRMs.
The ideal candidate will have lived experience of the Armed Forces lifestyle, a background in secondary or further education and a NVQ Level 6 in Advice, Information and Guidance.
This position is remote; however, candidates must be based in Hampshire to support local engagement activities and demonstrate knowledge of regional authorities and organisations.

This role is focused on providing strategic communications leadership to the Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub), with an emphasis on web and digital media. About the role
This is a hands-on marketing role with plenty of variety. Working closely with colleagues across the RSS, you will plan and coordinate multi-channel campaigns across email, web, social media, digital advertising, partner channels and other routes.
You will help turn plans into practical campaign action, making sure marketing is well-organised, audience-focused, delivered on time and measured for effectiveness. You will work closely with our Digital and Content team to coordinate website updates, content, newsletters and campaign assets.
What you’ll be doing
Day-to-day you will:
- promote RSS products, services and business areas including membership, training, events, conference, sponsorship and venue hire;
- plan, coordinate and deliver integrated and effective marketing campaigns across these RSS activities, working closely with key colleagues;

About the roles
Last year we launched our most ambitious strategy yet - Change Happens Now. To deliver on its promise, we have identified a phased and prioritised pipeline of cross-cutting strategic programmes that will move us closer to a future where, by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer lives - and is supported to live well.
We’re now looking for 2 Strategic Programme Leads to help deliver our strategy. You’ll work in our Strategy, Planning & Innovation (SPI) team, which is responsible for strategic change programmes, planning, innovation and involvement.
Both posts share the same job description and grade and will work flexibly across SPI’s full portfolio. However, each role has a distinct focus area and differs in contract type:
- Role 1 - Health Systems and Improvement – Permanent: This role focus is in health systems and improvement, which will include leading place-based programmes, stewarding UK-wide health-improvement standards, and building the external relationships needed to deliver system-level change.
- Role 2 - Engagement at Scale – 2 year fixed term. This role focus is in ‘engagement at scale’ programmes, in its first year, it will include programme leadership of our universal offer, an organisation-wide programme aimed at delivering an accessible support offer for everyone affected by breast cancer. It will also include providing strategic partnership for other large-scale programmes, such as healthcare professional engagement initiatives and behaviour change.
While each role has a primary focus area, we expect both post-holders to be flexible and adaptable. Priorities change, and you'll need to be equally comfortable working across specialisms, seeing the focus areas as a starting point which will evolve with organisational priorities.
About you
Whilst both roles are the same, given the specialisms, for role 1, we're particularly interested in candidates with experience of external connectivity across the UK health system landscape and a working knowledge of NHS structures, integrated care systems, clinical pathways and health inequalities. For role 2, we're particularly interested in candidates with experience of scaled engagement work, such as leading public engagement, support or community programmes.
For both roles, you’ll be able to get into the detail when it matters, including the design and sequencing of the programme itself. On some programmes you'll be the strategic lead, owning the work from start to finish and being the trusted strategic advisor to expert leaders. On others you'll partner an expert team, bringing the wider organisation in behind their delivery and working through the barriers that hold progress back.
You'll be confident leading, designing and running pilots and prototypes, with clear measures of success and an evidence-led approach to learning and improvement, ensuring you keep lived experience of breast cancer at the heart of your work. You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, making progress at pace without losing rigour, and you'll bring an innovation mindset, creating the conditions, methods and permission for teams to test, scale and embed new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
Programmes Leadership & Management (70%)
1. Lead the strategic and financial development and oversight of CBM UK’s international programme portfolio, ensuring the organisation delivers its programme strategy with maximum impact and effectiveness in alignment with CBM Global’s strategy. Support and line manage the team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans to ensure excellence in programme funding, development and delivery.
2. Drive quality and effectiveness within CBM UK projects and across CBM Global by
a) ensuring effective coordination of tasks, forward planning of key activities and events, and providing space for collaboration, problem-solving, escalation and innovation across the portfolio.
b) identifying and improving policies and procedures that ensure proportional programmatic oversight and support complex institutional funding management.
c) supporting Programmes staff to work with country teams to pursue a localised approach to programming, drawing on the CBM Global localisation roadmap.
3. Work with Programme Funding colleagues to lead and oversee the development of strategic partnerships and packaging of programme approaches that secure institutional funding for CBM UK’s programmes, including by strengthening intelligence on donor trends and funder priorities, developing immediate responses to new opportunities as they arise in line with CBM UK’s mission.
4. Work closely with CBM UK finance, fundraising, communication teams and other CBM Global Members in creating and responding to opportunities for funding, driving growth, and promoting effective use of CBM UK’s voluntary income to leverage match funding.
5. Together with the Board and LT, actively manage programme risks based on CBMUK’s overall risk management framework.
6. Demonstrate leadership in maintaining an environment free from harm for project participants, CBM UK and partner staff by overseeing the management of safeguarding concerns arising in CBM UK supported projects, including reporting to the Board and Charity Commission where appropriate.
7. Promote within the Programmes Department a culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement which only results in an improved programmatic approach but also informs and supports our advocacy, advisory, and evidence and learning work.
8. Liaise closely with CBM UK colleagues to ensure coordination and effective integration of programme activities into opportunities for fundraising, including contributing to the innovation in business models to diversify CBM UK’s funding base, including exploring sustainable funding approaches to enhance programme delivery and reduce dependency on the charitable model (in conjunction with the CEO and Director of Fundraising, Impact and Communications).
Organisational leadership (20%)
1. Contribute to the overall leadership and strategic direction of CBM UK through the Leadership Team, and in collaboration with the CEO, including contributing to Board meetings.
2. As part of the Leadership Team, take shared leadership responsibility for the wider CBM UK team of staff and volunteers, supporting effective collaboration and organisational cohesion, and taking on cross-functional responsibilities where appropriate.
3. Encourage and promote a culture of ambition, learning and excellence across the CBM UK team.
4. Be responsible for producing and initiating regular reports, briefing papers and other relevant programmes information for the CEO and Board Programmes Committee as appropriate.
5. Lead on supporting the Board Programmes Committee, working closely with the Committee Chair to ensure members are provided with the information necessary to permit strategic oversight and robust risk management.
6. Lead UK’s engagement with CBM Global's programmatic leadership, in particular Directors of Programmes in other CBM Member Teams (Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland), CBM Global Secretariat, and Technical Directors, working towards greater alignment, escalation of issues, and collaboration to advance CBM UK’s approach to localisation.
Representation and advocacy (10%)
1. Represent the organisation at the highest levels, including deputising for the CEO where required. Act as a key spokesperson for CBM UK with a range of external audiences, including institutional and statutory donors and strategic partners, media, policy and decision makers and other international and national non-government organisations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key geographic stakeholders, including diplomatic representatives, ensuring effective engagement and alignment with CBM UK’s programme priorities.
2. In alignment with Advocacy and with Advisory colleagues, contribute to best practice in the UK disability and development sector by forging good relationships with UK-based and international NGO and disability sector networks to advocate for the adoption of inclusive development policies and practices, and champion innovative inclusive programmatic approaches.

Programme Coordinator
The Race Equality Foundation has been awarded a transformative multi-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund (TNLCF) as part of its Health Inequities: Structural Racism and Discrimination Partnership. The programme will establish three Anti-Racism Collaboratives (ARCs), each bringing together voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations, people with lived experience, health and care organisations, local authorities and other partners to tackle the structural causes of ethnic health inequities through co-production, evidence and collective action.
As Programme Coordinator, you will play a central role in enabling the successful delivery of this ambitious programme. Working closely with the Lead Changemaker, Changemakers and colleagues across the Foundation, you will ensure the programme has the systems, coordination and administrative support needed to deliver high-quality partnership working and meaningful co-production across the three ARCs.

We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead our international grant-making programmes, build strategic partnerships and work with organisations including the World Health Organization to reduce oral health inequalities.
ROLE
The Programme Manager will play a key, hands-on operational role in the development, delivery, and management of the Foundation’s grant-making portfolio, including collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), advocacy initiatives, and support for oral health meetings and events. Job Location: London (Hybrid)
Staff are expected to come into their base office once per week or the monthly equivalent i.e. 4 times per month. Staff are also able to flex their start and finish times between the hours of 7am to 7pm daily.

About the role:
The Digital Content Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for all of Concern’s digital content.
The role’s overriding objective is to create a positive and engaging online experience for Concern’s digital audiences while maintaining a focus on content that increases awareness, income and brand loyalty.
Acting as the organisation's champion for content marketing, the post holder will not only drive donations, but design meaningful digital experiences that bring supporters closer to the impact their contribution has.
The role involves managing complex demands from across the organisation as well as being responsible for output and managing risk. As one of the organisation’s lead digital copywriters, they ensure all content is of the highest quality and meets our strategic objectives. They are also an expert in digital content management and accessibility best practise, ensuring the website is maintained according to the highest digital standards.
The role also involves daily liaison and negotiation with a multitude of internal stakeholders in the UK, Ireland and the US, as well as external stakeholders including content creators, designers and developers among others.
About You:
You’re an experienced digital content professional with a strong track record of writing, editing and quality‑assuring clear, accurate and accessible content. You understand tone, brand consistency and user needs, and you know how to shape content that performs.
You’re confident working across multiple CMS platforms including Drupal, and you bring solid technical knowledge of SEO and digital optimisation, web usability and audience behavior.
Highly organised and calm under pressure, you manage workflows, deadlines and competing priorities with ease. You collaborate well, build strong relationships and handle stakeholders with professionalism, flexibility and integrity.
You’re adaptable, curious about evolving digital trends, and motivated by meaningful work, with a interest in development and humanitarian issues.

Conditions of Appointment:
Pay band: GB6
London: £43,250- £48,055, based on full time hours (35 hours per week)
New employees typically start at the beginning of their pay band.
We are looking for someone who can start end of September to allow a handover before the current postholder begins maternity leave.
The successful post holder will be required to complete a criminal records self-declaration form and a Basic DBS check.

What you will be doing
You will be responsible for developing and embedding strategies and programmes that help people across England to discover and connect with their heritage, increasing engagement with Historic England (HE) and the historic environment through our nationally important Archive collections and engagement programmes, which include learning (Heritage Schools), community engagement, inclusion grants and participation programmes (e.g. Blue Plaques). Through the power of partnership, storytelling, capacity building and audience led approaches, you will lead your teams to unlock the power of heritage for people and places, embedding inclusive practice and centring social impact.
Reporting to the Director of Communications and Engagement and working as part of the Communications and Engagement Leadership Team, you will help shape the direction of Historic England’s engagement and participation activity, ensuring our vision and mission are well understood and supported in society, and by key stakeholders. As a member of the Corporate Leadership Team, you will work together with senior colleagues across Historic England to embed our strategic priorities for people and places, including delivery on government priorities and income generation opportunities.
You will share your expertise and passion, ensuring the organisation’s knowledge, resources and voice are leveraged beyond Historic England, and we are actively working together with more people and partners to the benefit of people and places. Working closely with the Marketing & Digital Director, Philanthropy & Income Development Director and Communications Director, you will ensure that our presence continues to grow and gain positive recognition on a national stage, with new and current audiences, and that we are in an open conversation about how we can all work together to take action for heritage and the historic environment. You will work with a range of internal and external senior stakeholders and community partners.
