We're recruiting an exciting new role which will be fundamental in developing a new youth programme offer focussed specifically on the 11-18 age group. You'll manage a small team to develop new programme activities and resources, strategically manage the project and it's stakeholders, and ensure the project has well maintained and effective governance. You will also champion and manage structures to ensure youth co-creation and participation is at the heart of the development of this new offer. As Girlguiding is a large volunteer-led organisation,you'll support the change process, ensuring strategic focus is given to the operational changes required to deliver this new youth offer as it develops, as well as ensuring our current members and volunteers are engaged, consulted and informed as we move towards delivery. 

A broad experience of development of youth programmes, resources and activities is essential, as well experience of co-creation or participation of young people. The successful candidate will understand the challenges of large-scale change projects in member organisations, and be competent as project and programme manager.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in programme delivery within NGO, humanitarian, development, sustainability, or impact-focused contexts.

• Demonstrated programme management experience, including project design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and narrative and financial reporting.

• Proven experience in community engagement, dialogue facilitation, and participatory processes.

• Experience developing project concepts, writing funding proposals, and securing and managing donor relationships.

• Financial management experience, including preparing and overseeing annual project budgets of at least £200,000.

• Line management experience, including performance management and staff development.

• Strong contextual knowledge of the SWANA region.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

We are looking for a Prevention and Intervention Programme Manager to line manage the Advisors (Sexual Violence Liaison Officers) and be responsible for an SVLO programme to support students who have experienced sexual violence, sexual harassment, gender-based violence and/or domestic abuse at any point in their lives. The Programme Manager will need to work closely with the Advice Service Manager to support the Specialist Advisors in working alongside the generalist advice provision. The Programme Manager will oversee the Active Bystander Programme as well as the expansion of new and existing programmes, including developing personalised packages for departments and an attractive offer for external partner organisations.

Music Producer Club (MPC) – digital music-making for young people aged 12–18, delivered in schools, youth centres and online. Taught by ‘producer educators’ - working music producers we train to educate the next generation -, MPC builds creativity, skills and confidence while connecting participants with electronic music culture and the national curriculum.

Process – a development programme for women, non-binary and trans+ music makers. Structured across three strands for different abilities (Create, Define, Release), Process combines workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to build skills, confidence and community for underrepresented producers.

Out The Box (OTB) – hands-on analogue mixing workshops in leading London studios, giving emerging producers practical experience with desks, outboard gear and professional engineers while bridging digital and analogue production techniques.

Programme Management

• Lead planning, scheduling and delivery of MPC, Process and Out The Box programmes and events.

Quality Monitoring & Evaluation

• Collect and analyse participant data, case studies and feedback, and drive solutions in response to pain points.

As a Grant Programme Manager, you will oversee a multi-country grant portfolio, ensure strong financial stewardship, drive performance against strategic targets and strengthen partnerships with programme partners and donors.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Grant Programme Manager to join our Global Programmes team within GIF. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a complex grant portfolio and ensuring effective delivery, financial oversight and strategic alignment.

1. Oversee and manage a portfolio of Small Farm Fund projects across multiple countries, ensuring delivery against BCI strategy and BCSS targets.
2. Lead grant application and assessment processes, including reviewing proposals, analysing organisational viability and contributing to funding recommendations.
3. Ensure effective financial stewardship of donor funds, reviewing budgets, tracking expenditure and identifying risks or corrective actions where required.
4. Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, ensuring robust data quality, learning integration and continuous improvement.
5. Represent GIF in internal governance forums, including the Field Investment and Innovation Committee, contributing to funding decisions and strategic discussions.
6. Engage with donors and external stakeholders, supporting reporting, relationship management and future funding opportunities.
7. Support Large Farm Fund and Knowledge Partner Fund rounds, including assessment, monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
8. Strengthen grant management systems and processes, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance and transparency.
9. Collaborate closely with country programme teams, MEL colleagues and finance teams to ensure coordinated delivery and alignment across functions.
10. Contribute to annual reporting, portfolio analysis and strategic planning for the GIF and wider Global Programmes function.

Experience

We are looking for candidates with the following skills, knowledge and experience:

1. Degree in Agronomy, International Development, Anthropology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
2. Demonstrated experience managing complex grant or project portfolios within rural development or sustainability contexts.
3. Experience working with commercial and institutional donors, including proposal development and reporting.
4. Strong financial oversight experience, including reviewing budgets and financial performance.
5. Experience using MEL frameworks, logframes and performance monitoring tools.
6. Willingness to travel for project visits twice a year (trips of between 7-10 days), and up to 2 trips per year for team/organisational meetings in Europe. If the successful applicant is based in one of our programme countries ie. CDI, India or Pakistan, the number of project visits would be greater.

Desirable

1. Expertise in smallholder agriculture.
2. Experience supporting organisational development of partners.
3. Experience communicating with donors and representing programmes externally.
4. Experience working in Sub-Saharan Africa or South Asia.
5. Additional language skills relevant to programme geographies.

Programme & Partnership Managers lead the delivery of our programme locally. • £36,000 - £39,870 DOE (pro rata for part time)
• A working from home allowance of £300 pa is provided (pro rata for part time)

We are seeking an organised Assistant Project Manager & inspirational Lead Youth Worker to assist the Project Manager & leadership team to plan, coordinate and manage our various youth projects. You’ll engage directly with the young people in an authentic creative way providing support and facilitation. You should be confident to deputise for the Project Manager.

Location: Clapham, London UK, however the option of hybrid working is available at times.

Responsibilities include:

Project Management

· Assist in planning, implementing, coordinating and reviewing projects

· Engage with and deliver projects to participants (young people)

· Ensure monitoring, evaluation and reporting of projects

· Manage social media platforms -content & design

· Liaise with young people, parents/carers and other stakeholders

Youth Work

· Lead our team of sessional youth workers and volunteers

· Provide pastoral support and guidance to young people

· Deliver quality focused youth provision across our sites including schools

· Co-developing programmes

· Identify and draw out gifts and talents in our young people

· Assessing character development

· Ensuring participant safety during interaction (following Hebe policies & protocols)

Key Requirements/Desirables:

· Evidence of Youth Work experience

· SEN experience

· Project planning

· Excellent organisational skills

· Social Media competency

· Great IT Skills

· Excellent people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands.

· Ability to problem solve and work independently

Full Hebe training, security checks and Enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken by the successful applicants

16hrs per week (base which increases during project delivery).  Rate is £14.50 per hour.

About the role

The Therapeutic Service Programme Manager provides strategic leadership and clinical governance for the Refugee Council’s therapeutic programmes, ensuring safe, high-quality care for separated children, adults and families seeking asylum.

As a Therapeutic Service Programme Manager, you will:

• Maintain professional standards and regulatory compliance
• Oversee all clinical decisions, referral pathways and service integration with advice and casework
• Lead and develop therapeutic managers and staff through supervision, reflective practice and trauma-informed wellbeing initiatives
• Embed client participation and advocacy into service design
• Manage operational finances, performance reporting and cross-organisational collaboration to drive continuous improvement and service sustainability

This is a permanent, part-time position working 28 hours per week.

The role can be based at any of the following Refugee Council offices - London, Sheffield, Hull, Kent, Hertfordshire.
