Breathe Cities Programme Coordination & Reporting Manager

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Breathe Cities Programme Coordination & Reporting Manager to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.   

Under the supervision of the ED of Breathe Cities, and working closely with the funders relations team, the purpose of this role is to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Breathe Cities’ funders and partners, ensuring a consistently high level of engagement and satisfaction. The role leads the provision of clear, structured and timely information, reporting, data and insights, while acting as the central point of contact for the funder. 

The role coordinates processes for donor reporting, and ensure information and communications flows to our donors and partners in an appropriate way.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent writing and communication skills. 

• Confident in dealing appropriately with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior managers, funder programme officers, and other donor organisation staff. 

• Skilled communicator, in oral and written form. 

• Ability to quickly assimilate and understand complex information and to communicate this in a clear and structured manner adapted to a funder. 

• Adept at managing projects, highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines to meet agreed objectives.

• Experience in information management and coordinating internal communication. 

• Ability to represent the Clean Air Fund credibly with range of external audiences, including senior donors and grantee partners.

• Able to respond quickly to requests for information and project updates 

• Demonstrable experience writing externally-facing reports.

Living Wage Places

The Living Wage Places scheme is pioneering a collaborative, place-based approach to tackling in-work poverty. Local action groups made up of public and private sector Living Wage Employers, work together with charities, unions and civil society on a three-year action plan to tackle local in-work poverty and grow the number of employers committed to the Living Wage, Living Hours and Living Pensions.

Since the scheme launched in 2019, we have recognised 20 cities, boroughs and city-regions for Making Living Wage Places.

Living Wage Places taps into the power of place, recognising and developing local champions within our network and supporting them to engage and influence their community’s employers. It feeds into broader local economic plans such as community wealth building and local anchor institution work.

Living Wage Foundation

The Living Wage movement began in 2001, after Citizens UK brought together communities in East London to discuss poverty and low pay. The campaign grew in momentum and soon required a mechanism to recognise employers who wanted to join the movement, which saw the establishment of the Living Wage Foundation in 2011.

Still part of Citizens UK today, the Living Wage Foundation continues to work with community organisations to make sure the voices of both workers and businesses are part of the Living Wage movement. We now work with over 16,000 employers, benefitting over 475,000 people and winning over £3bn of better wages for people who need it most.

Citizens UK works with a broad base of institutions across the political spectrum. At the Living Wage Foundation, we take the same deliberately broad-based approach and accredit all organisations who pay the real Living Wage to their directly and indirectly employed staff and are committed to tackling in work poverty. Main Responsibilities

The Programme Manager for Living Wage Places plays a central role in delivering and growing a pioneering, place-based approach to tackling in-work poverty. The role is responsible for managing and developing the Living Wage Places programme, supporting local action groups to deliver ambitious action plans, and embedding wider standards including Living Hours and Living Pensions. They will be the first point of contact for regional leads seeking guidance in their work/regions. Working across a broad range of internal teams and external stakeholders, the Programme Manager will build strategic partnerships, strengthen regional networks, and ensure effective monitoring, evaluation and learning across the programme. The role combines strong

project management with relationship building, strategic thinking and a commitment to increasing the scale and impact of the Living Wage movement.

As the Grant Programmes Manager, you will report to the Deputy Director of Grants & Programmes and play a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating targeted funding programmes such as our Heritage for All, Clearer Care and Mental Health scale Up Fund Programmes. You will work closely with colleagues across Grants, Programmes, Development, and Communications teams to steward donor relationships and ensure that their funding reaches the communities where it will have the greatest impact.

You will manage the end‑to‑end delivery of funding programmes. You will engage with voluntary and community organisations, public sector partners, and donors to shape programme design and share learning. You may also be required to line manage a Grants Officer or Administrator providing support on programme delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and highly organised individual with experience managing the full lifecycle of grant or funding programmes. You will have strong project management skills, excellent attention to detail, confidence interpreting complex information and communicating this to a range of audiences.

You will bring a friendly, professional approach and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders, from grassroots community groups to donors and trustees. You will be comfortable managing competing priorities and working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. You will have strong digital skills and experience using Microsoft Office.

Experience working in the charity or voluntary sector is desirable. About the role 

The Senior Programme Manager is responsible for independently managing a mixed portfolio of humanitarian and/or development programmes, including some of CARE International UK’s most complex and high-value projects. The role leads on programme oversight across the full project lifecycle, from contracting and start-up through to delivery, reporting, and close-out, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and risk management. 

The role involves close collaboration with country offices, partners, and internal teams, including Programme Finance, Programme Funding, and technical advisers, as well as acting as a senior interface with donors. The portfolio will likely include grants as well as commercial contracts and may include corporate partnerships in addition to institutional donors.

Key skills and abilities required include strong programme and financial management capability, excellent donor and stakeholder relationship management, the ability to manage complexity and competing priorities, and confidence working independently while escalating risks appropriately. The role requires sound judgement and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

Role Purpose

To deliver and develop a high-impact mentoring programme through effective mentor management, community engagement, and high-quality organisation and programme administration around London. This role is vital to achieving the organisation’s goals — including positive outcomes for children, meaningful volunteer engagement, compliance, and sustainable growth.

This role brings a perfect blend of administration and delivery, giving you ample time to see and speak with children and volunteer mentors, seeing up close the transformation the programme makes on children’s lives. 

Core Responsibilities

1. Mentor Management & Support 

• Match at least five children per month with suitable volunteer mentors, aligned with individual needs and programme goals. 
• Manage up to 55 active mentor-mentee pairs, leading the administration cycle and our quality framework. 
• Maintain 100% accurate records and communications in our data management system, Salesforce, ensuring full compliance with internal processes 
• Maintain consistent, high-quality mentor communications, including regular check-ins and reviews, ensuring consistent session attendance. 
• Co-deliver training for new and existing volunteer mentors; support community events and in-person meetups, maintaining 90%+ satisfaction in mentor surveys. 
• Drive mentor engagement and experience through the online community platform, reflective sessions, and arranging mentor meetups. 
• Promote long-term mentor involvement, with volunteer mentors contributing beyond core mentoring. 

2. Programme Delivery & Development 

• Support organisational targets across cohorts supporting delivery, volunteer recruitment and fundraising annually 
• Deliver child workshops and check-ins, capturing their voices and tailoring support accordingly. 
• Collect consistent impact from children, caregivers and mentors, ensuring all impact targets are met and ensuring children show positive progress in key outcome areas
• Collaborate with Programme Leaders to identify improvements and co-create new  approaches or resources. 
• Promote child participation and co-creation in all aspects of programme design and delivery, ensuring children's voices inform organisational reporting and development. 
• Plan and arrange group 2-3 mentoring sessions annually with other programme managers 

3. Volunteer, Referral & Community Engagement 

• Work with the volunteer recruitment team to build local partnerships and referral networks to support volunteer recruitment and programme delivery. 
• Maintain strong relationships with referral partners (e.g., schools, community organisations) to ensure a steady referral pipeline and collaborative working and 80% of your schools are retained. 
• Provide updates of the programme to referral partners and share content to internal marketing and schools colleagues to support completing the schools termly impact template 
• Act as a key liaison between mentors and caregivers, supporting clear communication and shared understanding of child development and the programme. 

4. Safeguarding  

• Uphold a strong culture of safeguarding in your work, acting in compliance with our safeguarding policies and procedures at all times. 
• Contribute to TKN safer recruitment processes, attending internal mentor training events to vet prospective mentors. 
• Review and assess weekly delivery session reports from mentors, updating Salesforce as required. 
• Ensure every child participating in the programme experiences a positive ending in line with TKN positive ending guidance. 
• Work collaboratively with DSLs to follow TKN safeguarding processes, escalating where needed 

Skills Required for this Role

• Relationship Management: Build and maintain trust with mentors, children, schools, caregivers, and community partners. 
• Communication: Clear, professional communication across diverse stakeholders including written reports, training, phone calls, meetings and in person check-ins. 
• Data & Impact Tracking: Confident in using data management systems, ideally understanding of salesforce and other tools to track progress, outcomes, and ensure data accuracy. 
• Safeguarding & Compliance: Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and policy application.

We are recruiting an Education Programme Manager who will support the development and delivery of education materials and teacher training content at The Politics Project.

About The Politics Project

The Politics Project supports young people to use their voice by giving them access to brilliant democratic education. They work with young people, teachers, youth practitioners and politicians to help them learn about, teach and actively participate in democracy. The Politics Project works across the UK with over 3,000 schools and youth groups and 400 politicians, reaching 95% of UK parliamentary constituencies.

The Politics Project also leads the Democracy Classroom Network, a network of over 100 organisations across the democracy, education and youth sectors which support over 3,500 teachers and youth practitioners to engage young people in democracy.The Network's website is a one-stop shop resources bank of educational materials on politics and democracy.

About the role

Working with the Head of Education and Content, the Programme Manager will support teachers and practitioners to engage their students in elections and democratic education, helping schools and colleges get ready for the lowering of the voting age to 16. 

The post holder will support the design and adaptation of resources, practitioner training, events and activities as well as manage relationships with the schools and colleges.

This is a fast-paced role in a friendly, supportive and growing team. The role has a six-month probation period. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week.

The Politics Project is based in London, and the post holder will be expected to work from the office at least one day a month. The role may require occasional UK travel and some evening/weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given. 

Key responsibilities

Working with the Director and the Head of Education and Content, the post holder will:

• Support the collation, sourcing and design of learning resources for school and college teachers to use to support their students to engage in elections and democracy.

• Be responsible for relationships with several schools and colleges, building and deepening those relationships. 

• Deliver training for teachers and practitioners around elections and democratic education.

• Coordinate and administer workshops, webinars, conferences, and online learning opportunities for educators.

• Oversee evaluation and monitoring, producing reports where required.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead IRMO’s Advice programme. As our Senior Advice Programme Manager, you’ll manage a dedicated team and oversee a range of initiatives that provide high-quality information and advice services to respond to the changing needs of our community.

The Advice programme provides trusted information, resources, advice and casework in Spanish and Portuguese on key areas of need, including immigration, welfare entitlements, housing and homelessness prevention. IRMO is accredited by the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) at Level 3. We are also members of Advice UK and receive second-tier support from Southwark Law Centre.

Alongside this, the programme works with local health boards to run initiatives designed to improve access to health services, such as HIV testing, sexual health and family planning advice and Chagas disease testing. You will also oversee IRMO’s Community Support service, which manages community enquiries daily at our Brixton centre and through our helpline, provides emergency crisis support and coordinates our Community Interpreting service, as well as connects service users with internal or external support.

These initiatives support people facing difficulties and help them build the skills and confidence to navigate complex systems. All of our work is shaped by the views of our beneficiaries, keeping our services relevant and responsive.

As Senior Advice Programme Manager, you’ll lead the strategic development of the Advice programme, ensuring our work is high-quality, impactful and responsive to the needs of our community. You’ll help grow the programme by strengthening existing partnerships and developing new ones.
